Hi Ladies, thought I would just grab the bull by the proverbial horns and get this going. Hope the name is okay. MrsMc I am afraid we will all be thinking of you and your DH (and his light saber) everytime we post

Too many individual posts to go back and answer so I thought I'd start with a positive message for all of us from the March thread and for any MC newbies...

Today is my 1 month MN anniversary and I do not know what I would have done without you all. It is the ability to get on here and "let it all out" that keeps me going. I have been blessed to have found you all and whatever lies in my future - your kindness and advice will stay with me forever.

Big Love and Hip hip hooray for a fabulous new positive thread POPSY xxxx

p.s. Gilly get your arse down to london - we can drink the bars dry of Rose (purely medicinal of course )

Have jsut bumped into my ex-hubby he is horridhorridhorridhorridhorrid (he's not really but knows all my guilt buttons and presses them regularly whenever I am looking like am feeling a bit better) am so glad am not married to him anymore. How does he manage to upset me in about 5 mins?

kensgirl · 01/06/2007 15:28

Hi all, hope you are Ok!

Mrsmc - What can I say to make you feel better?
Just stay strong, and try and not read too much into it.Your body has to stp producing progesterone from the corpus luteum at some point so that the emerging placenta can take over its production. I'm not 100% sure of when that is, but it must be quite early on, maybe that is why you are seing the dip. If more people were temping then maybe you would see a pattern,so try not to worry yet. It may be a good sign if that is the case that everything is progressing normally. When is your next scan? can you go to an EPU and be scanned immediately - I did that when I started to bleed and was scanned within a couple of hours.

I'm Ok at the moment, just plodding on through the whole ttc business. Day 17 for me, but I don't hold out much hope this month as Dh has been ill, and we had 2 monster rows over nothing.Still'I'm sure you are going to be fine and hope to be joining you on the antenatal threads very soon.

Stay around and let us know how you are - big big hugs xx

Torres ? thanks hon I?m feeling a bit more perky now (in addition to really feeling very sick!) I?m going to London for the weekend and meeting up with my sisters I haven?t told them the news yet and am excited and scared to all at once. We have a surprise party for my Mum on Sunday night, it?s her b?day ? I haven?t seen them since Xmas and she has no idea I?m coming ? it should be fun PMSL at your MIL turning up at your lovely weekend retreat! I am very lucky, my MIL is really the sweetest lady alive and she loves me so much, I am very fortunate She?s desperate to be a gran but is more imterested in how I am then how the baby is at the mo. Hope both you and DH feel better in time for the weekend!

Iwillbe - thanks for the support, I know you are right and if one of you were telling me the same things, I would be echoing it, it is just so hard to think positively when it is you isn?t it. I think I do have a bit of a cold (no wonder with all the rain!! ? permanently soaked through!) That must have been horrible for you at 20 weeks My last pg was riddled with bleeds and bleeding is my biggest fear. So sorry that AF has arrived, stress is an issue in my life too, I am trying so hard to reduce it.

EllieG ? thanks just think how wonderful it is not to be with him anymore!

Kensgirl ? thanks hon. My scan is on Tues. I?m happy to wait. When I had my MC, I started bleeding heavily on the Thurs, got scanned Fri afternoon and all was fine and I was so overjoyed and the bleeding continued and by the following Friday my beanie had gone that scan in the middle ultimately broke my heart more than the one at the end. Sending you positive vibes

torres · 01/06/2007 17:41

Mrs mc- I am so glad you are feeling sick ! You sound like you have a lovely weekend to distract you too. But I can't believe it- the legendary mrsmc is coming to London and I am leaving town for the weekend!

MrsMcJnr · 01/06/2007 18:22

Torres!

Ladies thank you for all your support today. Much appreciated. I am signing off now until after the scan so hopefully next time we speak I'll be one happy lady

Enjoy your weekends!

Hi gillyd! How you doing?
Have a good weekend MrsMC and let us know how you get on x
Have FINALLY got the internet at home - slightly worrying as now will never be off MN. Am feeling much more rosy now as have had 2 glasses of wine with my Mum and slagged off the crappy ex. And then gone home to lovely fella. Much better.

Sounds exciting - are you far from there now?
Have good weekends all x

lissie · 01/06/2007 20:20

well, af's not due til tomorrow but got a bfn today so have jumped the gun and booked my HSG for the 11th at 8.45. feels like a big step.

my mum came round today and told me that one of my oldest friends (who is due 2w before my edd would have been) is having a little girl. i feel so shitty for being so jealous and angry. mum asked me what was wrong (i was banging around the kitchen) and i let rip at her. some garbled "why can all these other women get pg at the drop of their knickers, while even when i do get pg my body f*cks it up" nonsense. then i felt like a prize cow.....

i hate what ftc does to me!

EllieG · 01/06/2007 20:35

I'm the same. PG friend is signed off for another 2 weeks at work with morning sickness etc and I just thought 'thank God at least that means I don't have to see her'. Am horrid. But all she talks about is how rotten she's feeling and I just don't care, I would LOVE to be her right now, rotten-feeling or not.

lissie · 01/06/2007 20:37

i swear that the next time im pg i wont moan about how uncomfortable i am, how sick or how tired. i will thank god for every day!

EllieG · 01/06/2007 20:43

Too bloody right

lissie · 01/06/2007 20:45

how are you doing today?

EllieG · 01/06/2007 20:49

Not bad - bit up and down but OK. How's you? What's a HSG and why is it jumping the gun to book one?

lissie · 01/06/2007 20:52

you are supposed to wait til the 1st day of your period and af isnt due till tomorrow coz it cant be done if you are pg.
this explains a hsg better than i can

EllieG · 01/06/2007 20:58

Brave lady for booking it. Hopefully you won't need it but I guess it's best to know what you're dealing with.

lissie · 01/06/2007 21:30

thanks. tbh, i feel a bit better for it. got my follow up appt with the specialist on mon too, so will get the results of my blood tests

becklespeckledfrog · 02/06/2007 00:19

Hi Torres and thanks! Still panicky but am feeling really rubbish and relishing every sicky second of it! Hope you are okay and stomach settled down for you!

Wheelybug · 03/06/2007 18:25

Hi All

Just a quick one from me - haven't been around as was trying to avoid conception threads as I got a bit crazed last month and now I have dropped and broken my laptop so can't get on anyway which is kind of a help !

Just wanted to say congrats to Baslbrush !! well done and hugs to MrsMc - hope your worries are unfounded.

Hugs and hellos to all ! No news here btw - AF due in about a week. DD has had chicken pox this week which has taken my mind off the dreaded 2ww. Also going off on hols the day AF is due with friends so if I'm not PG it will not be so bad as it will be a boozy week so I would have to tell them as they would otherwise guess !!

Will check in again once insurance company have coughed up.

EllieG · 03/06/2007 19:08

Hey all - I'm bored this evening - anybody there?

WinkyGirl · 03/06/2007 19:33

Hi EllieG - I'm bored too!

AF due Friday. Have been hormonal cow today so am wondering if that is my usual pregnancy moodiness or just early pmt!!

Where are you in your cycle? Hows your weekend been?

spugs · 03/06/2007 19:35

Im here i have cramp and it is making me arsy as its to early to be af or bfp - can you get af early after a mc? thats the only thing i can think that it could be

EllieG · 03/06/2007 19:49

Spugs - think AF can be weird after MC - mine is still a bit funny and erratic and has been 3 months now.
WG - sorry you're feeling grouchy - have just finished AF so am delightfully free of hormones at moment, unfortunately that means not PG but they'll be other months....
Am feeling quite chilled about it at the moment. Round ovulation time I am generally much less so and feel like stealing babies sometimes, but for the moment, am in zen-like state of calmness about the whole thing. Most unlike me, it must be said.
Have had really nice day with DP and DSD and her little friend having a picnic, so am feeling all wholesome and happy. Mind you, I only just avoided a rotten hangover this morning after many wines at BBQ yesterday, so can't be too smug and yummy-mummy-ish.

WinkyGirl · 03/06/2007 20:05

Yep, my AF was odd. I got AF then got her again 3 weeks later which was odd. And annoying as we missed the chance to conceive that month.

EllieG - please send some chilled vipes Winchester way! I am in full on panic "will never have another baby." The picnic sounds nice. We have been out in the sun most of the day too.
