Hi Ladies, thought I would just grab the bull by the proverbial horns and get this going. Hope the name is okay. MrsMc I am afraid we will all be thinking of you and your DH (and his light saber) everytime we post

Too many individual posts to go back and answer so I thought I'd start with a positive message for all of us from the March thread and for any MC newbies...

Today is my 1 month MN anniversary and I do not know what I would have done without you all. It is the ability to get on here and "let it all out" that keeps me going. I have been blessed to have found you all and whatever lies in my future - your kindness and advice will stay with me forever.

Big Love and Hip hip hooray for a fabulous new positive thread POPSY xxxx

p.s. Gilly get your arse down to london - we can drink the bars dry of Rose (purely medicinal of course )

just beem fishing thru old uni worksheets and seen was 70kg in 1995 and had a high bulk to surface ratio ha ha - can't remember what it means but sounds pretty bad (for a short lass). One of the things you have to tick is for "proximal hamming" of the arms - sounds disgusting and I had it
Feeling VERY slim now - god no wonder spent entire time pouncing on blokes too drunk to say no

Popsy you do make I LAFF. Especially about loose ring.

my1stbaby · 16/05/2007 14:42

yeah hate it too when my wedding ring gets tight. my fingers swell up very easily; when we went to get our fingers measured for wedding ring, it was so swollen that my ring is only fractionally smaller than dh was so upset that dh agreed to let me have a few diamonds on mine so that we won't get them swapped round during the ceremony

my1stbaby · 16/05/2007 14:49

Ellie that's not fair! You're making me feel soooo guilty being a lazy git. Bought gym membership in Jan but only been hmm maybe one a month . Where do you get the energy???

nh101 · 16/05/2007 15:56

Well I really hope I was ovulating yesterday cos I think DH is fed up of BDing now
I had to practically beg him the night before last thinking I was ovulating then (I said you can have tomorrow night off promise) then thought I was ovulating yesterday instead so had to beg him even more!

How bad is that? I have had it for about 12 days on the run though cos no idea what my cycle is (CD22 today).

He says I have to pounce on him earlier on in the evening before he gets tired.

You'd think he'd be grateful....

Well done KatyH!!! How long after ovulation did you get you BFP?

EllieG · 16/05/2007 16:11

Don't feel bad my1stbaby I did spend the whole morning eating cake, so am not the paragon of virtue I might seem...
(And most of the time when I go to the gym I stand around looking at the machines, feel and bit tired, and go home)

EllieG · 16/05/2007 16:11

Poor Mr nh. Too much BDing - what a hard done by fella. He must be so fed up being married to you.

lissielou · 16/05/2007 16:20

dh gets 4days of frantic bding then nothing for 2w while we wait to see if his super-sperm has done the trick.

EllieG · 16/05/2007 16:49

And they say romance is dead

lissielou · 16/05/2007 16:51

lol have been worried about parents being at the caravan with us while im fertile. but its only the one night. tbh its the legs in the air that does it for dh.

remember sex rather than ttc?

EllieG · 16/05/2007 16:55

I remember. I nearly turned down DP the other night cos I knew I wasn't fertile and I couldn't be bothered. How terrible is that? Mentally gave self a shake and tried to remeber when it was all about fun. (Which it was when got going )

popsy76 · 16/05/2007 16:56

Yeah but we always have a great time when others near by - have to be very quiet and sneaky like when was a teenager tee hee

Legs in air defo works though doesn't it - When was pretending not to try last time i had to wait til DH went to the loo to hoist mine up (oh the shame - if he ever knew how well orchestrated it all was - he thought was an amazing coincidence that we got PG first time )

I also got very good at post-shag orgasms cos i knew they helped grab the sperm (had seen it on horizon many moons ago)...who says we women can't multitask

popsy76 · 16/05/2007 17:11

basilbrush · 16/05/2007 17:21

brace yourselves girls - but i actually do shoulder stands (am a bit of a yoga nut) (well a nut full stop)
DH sees it as another good excuse to look at my bum. Which is covered in orange fur with a tail. Obviously.

lissielou · 16/05/2007 17:21

pmsl!

popsy76 · 16/05/2007 17:25

F8ck me - that is where you have been - having your blood pumped back into your body after 4 day shoulderstandathon - no wonder your bum is a funny colour
p.s. do you make your own bread and be generally zen all the time - I knew it - you are one of those amazing women who can actually turn their brain off and just be...

popsy76 · 16/05/2007 17:34

I want daily updates littlebitrosy

OP posts:
alittlebitshy · 16/05/2007 17:41

daily updates? argh!!!!
there is no way it's that i'm pg - af only just finished and, we're only starting ttc again this month.

lmao at alittlebitrosy!!

popsy76 · 16/05/2007 17:45

what does imao mean?
Sorry littlebittwingey jumped the gun there - sounds like the niggle pains i am getting - am thinking my womb more sensitive to hormones these days (partic since came off pill but even more after PG and MC) - think is just responding to changes in hormones right through my cycle (and that i notice them now I am looking for them (IYKWIM) - this means I don't have to think am PG everytime I get a twinge which was bloody exhausting!

OP posts:
alittlebitshy · 16/05/2007 17:46

oops LLLLLLLmao

alittlebitshy · 16/05/2007 17:48

i know you've prob said popsy, but where in cycle are you at the mo??

popsy76 · 16/05/2007 17:54

I'm currently in the "what the fuck is my body going to throw at me this month" stage

OP posts:
popsy76 · 16/05/2007 17:55

sorry I mean CD12 which means should be OV but usually have a 31 day cycle (or so I keep chanting so I don't rush out and find the nearest man to impregnate me as DH is selfishly working in US)
