TTC #2 January BFPs

For all those ttc #2 and hoping to banish those January blues with a new year BFP, this is the bus for you! All welcome. Let’s hope for a flurry of BFPs before the month’s out. 💕💕💕💕

My Stats are as follows:

Age: 35
DS (2 in November)
Cycle: 16 (groan!)
AF/BFP due: 20 January (my Grandma’s Birthday)

Did anyone who had a MC feel different the following time they found out they were pregnant? Last month when I got a positive I had various early symptoms, and now I’m comparing this month and feel a bit different, don’t want to think negatively - hoping I might get a positive this month.

@kit I was desperate to get pregnant the month after my mc, so that things didn’t seem as real and that it was just a blip rather than a major life event.

I obviously haven’t been pregnant since so can’t comment on feeling different but did feel pretty much the same both times I’ve had a bfp.

Thanks @June. I hadn’t a positive OPK so think I ovulated Wednesday, dtd Friday, Sunday, Tuesday morning as OH was away tues, weds night. Last month my tender boobs tailed off after ovulation, just had major vivid dreams and tiredness, but now don’t feel tired, and it’s mainly my nipples that are really tender. I know every pregnancy if different so I shouldn’t try and symptom spot and compare, just hoping it’s not a negative this month as I will feel so down.

I meant had, not hadn’t.

Hi all, I've been lurking for my tww, am on cd27 and due on tomorrow. Going a bit crazed with symptom spotting! Only our first cycle of trying to conceive a second, got the mirena out just before Xmas. Hasn't stopped me being obsessed though!

I had slight pink cm on what I'm pretty sure was 6dpo, and no spotting since. The last few days I've had slight cramps and lower back pain, so tested a couple of days ago and got a bfn so am feeling reluctant to test again in case it's the same! I remember convincing myself I was of a few times last time around, it took 7 months and I'm 6 years older now at 38 so I'm unlikely to catch so soon I would have thought. But again, the crazy has taken over regardless!

These threads are keeping me going, I can't confide in DH because he'll think I'm obsessing too much, so I just keep reading the conception board secretly 😂

Ah welcome nightowlagain. How many dpo are you know? Do you remember your symptoms from last time?

I'm now 10 dpo - took a test tonight and negative. I really don't think it's happening so I'm having a glass of vino. My DH keeps saying "no no you might be..." but I just know. And to be honest, I am ok with it.

Thank you @mynameisjune I didn't think anything would happen this month as didn't have any symptoms at all except strangely a sore throat??

Another bfn at 12dpo for me so i think im out. My powers of wishful thinking are strong though, as i tell myself i didn't get my last bfp until 13/14dpo.. peed on most of my sticks this month not obsessive at all so one left for tomorrow then I'll wait it out until af arrives. Next month i vow not to buy any sticks!!!!

Well, against my better judgement I poas when I woke up this morning, but I'd only been asleep for a couple of hours and had had loads of water. BFN!

Am due on today and am still feeling different from usual, but when I'm obsessing it's hard to know what I'm imagining and what is real. It's easy to imagine nausea!

So yes, a but disheartening but I'll try again with fmu tomorrow. Good luck everyone!

Hey @kit1411 it can take a while for your periods to settle down after a miscarriage. I was told it could take 3 months.

@funkyemzie. Hugo congratulations to you and good luck with your pregnancy.

As for me I ovulated two days ago. We DTD twice on my positive OPK and once the day after. I’ve tried inserting a mooncup after each session 😂 Worth a try. Now as per usual it’s a waiting game. I feel more relaxed about it this month as I feel I’ve come to terms that it may take time or may not happen at all. As it is we’ve been trying for 10 cycles (mc in August). Drs have said I need to reset my clock from last mc so guess I’m 5 cycles ttc.

Cat and Nightowl - sounds like we'll all be testing at the same time. I am 10 dpo. Did a test this morning and BFN. Ovia says I can test in 2 days time and with all my other pregnancies I've only got a positive on day 28/29.

I feel v crampy, proper period pains so I do think I am out and as I said yesterday, it's a relief. For me being pregnant is mainly about miscarrying. I've been pregnant 7 times with one baby from it, and so getting a positive is sadly just step 1 for me. I am not sure I can go through it again tbh. The only reason we are trying is because my DH is v keen for another baby and I would LOVE one too but the heartache of losing them is just getting too much. Now we have our son I sort of think we should we content with him. Anyway, sorry for the gloom. It must be my period coming!!

@second so sorry you’ve suffered so many loses, it’s heartbreaking isn’t it. Keeping everything crossed that you get a sticky bean.

I’m only 7dpo, nothing different to speak of at all. Come down with a terrible cold and not sleeping well at all so not hopeful for this month.

I'm 10DPO and just got this! I'm so worried it's false. I didn't get a BFP with DC1 until AF was due. Am I going mad?

I try to keep off here as had so much sad times feel like it's a bad omen to come on. No idea why just my crazy mind. Anyway sorry to crash but really hope u can cast your eyes on this. It's from day 29. And I'm day 31 now with no show of af yet. Ovia thought I should test on day 30.
Thoughts please.
