Have been slowly coming off antidepressants and stopped taking the pill (using condoms) to get body back to normal ready to try for no.2 in June, also started taking pregnacare. I know its early to start posting but got my first proper period today so just been on site to check fertile dates for months again and think we're going to go for it in June - ooooooooooooo, very excited. Just wondered if there was anyone else out there planning way ahead cos i wouldn't talk to anyone in RL life about it so far ahead, other than dh!

oh egg good luck I do hope this month is your month x I have even bought a Bjorn active carrier as I got it cheap can never be to prepared at least this time round I know what crap not to but and what the important things are we had the bjorn (normal one) for my DS and I used it every day till he was about 6 months but the back cross kept riding up my back to my neck so hurt my back thus the active one this time round so I will use it even longer ! lol listen to me justifying buying things before even pg!

UpsyDaisy · 28/05/2007 19:32

Egg.....fingers and toes crossed for you
I have everything still at the moment from ds who's one.....so dh reckons we won't need to buy anything, apart from clothes if we are blessed with a girl! I'm sure there will be something I can think of.......if I try hard enough.

iwantanotherone · 28/05/2007 22:05

Hey everybody, we spent the weekend away at pil's caravan (without pil), now I am back home and back online.
I have written off this month since we all came down with a really terrible sinusitis (dd wasn't bothered too much, thankfully) - we did not get round to do the deed as we felt sooooo crappy!!
Oh well, July is nice month as well (af due around the 10th of June, but then dd & I will be gone for three weeks, having a cure if that is the correct term in English).
At least we are starting to feel better . Am off to bed, nighty-night!

Egg · 29/05/2007 07:27

I can't quite believe it but I got a BFP this morning. After waiting so long last time it seems a bit surreal. Am really nervous this time as I know so much more about what can go wrong (thanks to MN!), but am tentatively joining the due in Feb ante natal thread. DS is a Feb boy too so at least all my maternity stuff can be used again etc (although am sure I will still want MORE).

I wish all you ladies the best of luck and hope you all have a lucky June (or July for iwantanotherone).

Congratulations egg!!!!

I have been bedding like mad at the moment, lol. not sure it will work this month though but i am just gonna keep trying cause it's got to work eventually.

CD15 at the min.

Thelittlesoldiersmummy · 29/05/2007 10:33

We have decided (well I have and my DH will be dragged along) to really go for it this month from CD11 to CD21 once in the morning and once in the evening hope we will get luck

tigerschick · 29/05/2007 11:49

Hi Everyone.

Egg - Congratulations, best of luck for the next nine months - and beyond

Well we've not been doing much bd-ing lately as we had my parents staying and we've been really tired and dh's knee is still very painful at times ... but it seems like a shame! Had a lovely - if rather wet - day in London yesterday. Spent ages in Hamley's as they have a play area on the pre-school floor and dd just loved playing with all the toys. Also went to a Christening on Sunday and was surrounded by babies ... sooooo broody!!! But dd is really scrumptious at the moment so not getting too desperate, yet

Hope everyone is well and happy and bding away merrily.

Scorpio - any news yet???

Egg · 29/05/2007 12:59

Blimey thelittlesoldiersmummy! You will be exhausted and get fed up wont you! We managed 3 times in total last month, one was CD8, one was CD15 and one was CD22, can only presume it was CD15 that did it. However with DS we did go for it solidly over a two week period in the month we conceived, although usually only every other day, as we figured that should still cover the days in between.

Anyway, hoping to see a few of you over on Feb thread, and tons of luck to everyone. Still in shock .

doggiesayswoof · 29/05/2007 13:06

Wow Egg, congratulations! That is such brilliant news. Is it a bit strange since you didn't really 'try' IYKWIM?

AF arrived for me saturday night, so we will be trying properly this month

I don't get much time to MN but will pop back to this thread when I get the chance. Good luck all.

Egg · 29/05/2007 13:30

Oh Doggie was just wondering about you and hoping you were with me! Sorry AF arrived for you, but fingers crossed for next month. It is very strange, after trying so much harder last time, I now feel like one of those women I was always envious of before. I think that "not" trying might have helped as we were much more relaxed and not really thinking about it.

doggiesayswoof · 29/05/2007 13:35

Thanks Egg but don't worry, I'm fine, I really wasn't expecting af not to arrive this month. Quite excited about it all now though... I even had a look in the loft on Sunday to see what baby stuff was up there

doggiesayswoof · 29/05/2007 13:36

and IKWYM about the relaxed thing. That's what I'm aiming for... trying not to get obsessed with it...

manamana · 29/05/2007 14:36

woweee, congratulations egg , enjoy (if that's the right word) that shocked feeling! iwant, sinusitis sounds rubbish, i'm still feeling rubbish with this ear thing and just been signed off for rest of this week. on day 18 now and not sure whether i should persuade dh that another dose of 'functional and still' bding is necessary tonight . Think i have amazed him with this renewed enthusiasm but combination of lying around all day and thoughts of aking ickle babies is making me v horny bunny!

Thelittlesoldiersmummy · 29/05/2007 14:39

lol Mana although I know what you mean my DH has said I am being so much more loving towards him! Kissing him and saying i love him more I havent really noticed

manamana · 29/05/2007 14:45

can't remember what state of our lovelife was like during pg1 but am guessing that being pg with a toddler will make me MUCH less enthusiastic so am telling him to make the most of it

OP posts:
Egg · 29/05/2007 14:54

Hehe I was just thinking earlier that DH will be gutted it did work so soon, that's it for the "loving" for the next nine months now . Ok, maybe not quite but I don't remember it happening much during PG1!

scorpio1 · 29/05/2007 15:48

congrats egg!

im still waiting, cd40 (last cycle 41 days) so at least im in a rythym!
