Thanks @Beansprout30 I know I shouldn't feel like that, it's #2 for me so I know I can do it (even if he did arrive at 32 weeks) it's just the waiting and disappointment each month I can't bear!

Impatientmummy36 · 17/09/2017 07:55

Morning all, lots of people seem to be feeling very disheartened at the mo, me included, hang on in there everyone, Nubian, cariad, June, lopey, ovaries, ladydolly, Kashy I think we now count as veterans or the ttc circuit!!

...I have no words of wisdom really but it's been great having everyone's support here, and we're all doing everything we can though so we'll get there!! xx

Congratulations to the bfps and ladydolly yes have fingers crossed for you xx

Shall I start the October thread then for old times sake ?! :) Be good to have a fresh start eh... Don't think anyone has yet but let me know if so) I'll post link when I've done it...

x

LopeyLopez · 17/09/2017 08:03

Morning, yes impatient, start a new thread. Was just thinking about that this morning....good to have a different thread for each month.

Everything crossed for you ladydolly!

Pretty sure I'm out: temp went down below cover line this morn plus light pink spotting only when wiping last night and today. Gah, another month gone! Can really relate to everyone saying about the months ticking by, age gaps increasing, time running out etc....

But we mustn't give up hope!! Likelihood is it WILL happen, just would be nice to know when....! And for it to be soon!

DragonsandDungeons · 17/09/2017 09:49

Thanks everyone. Will retest soon. Good luck to all testing

GotADolly · 17/09/2017 11:12

Had implant removed in the August, fell pregnant in November. Lost in January then fell pregnant with my son in the May. Had him in December (due Feb) and he's nearly two now. Been trying since he was one.

DragonsandDungeons · 17/09/2017 11:18

Dolly I also have a two year old DS and had a miscarriage. Sounds like were similar. It's hard isn't it hugs

GotADolly · 17/09/2017 11:35

Thanks @DragonsandDungeons yes it is hard! Fingers crossed for this cycle 🤞

LopeyLopez · 17/09/2017 13:35

Mouth tastes all disgusting and the bleeding has stopped but I'm afraid to be hopeful that my test was real. After last month (miscarriage hormones giving me false bfp) I'm just depressed. I also think my short cycles mean I won't ever get another baby. I feel so emotional, which usually means I'm pregnant, but...I dunno

GotADolly · 17/09/2017 16:31

@DragonsandDungeons I also have quite short cycles- does it mean we have less chance?!

DragonsandDungeons · 17/09/2017 16:53

Dolly depends how short, but if we have short luteal phases (mine is) then yes. :(

DragonsandDungeons · 17/09/2017 17:01

Well now I'm upset. After my faint positive I did an OPK as I know they turn positive if you're pregnant. It turned very dark.

Just did another one as I don't have any other tests in and it's completely clear. This is exactly the same as last month and when I said it was a miscarriage they said it was just left over hormones, despite me testing negative first, then 5 positive tests that turned negative after bleeding.

The same is happening again.

I am convinced I am miscarrying each time :(

MynameisJune · 17/09/2017 17:22

Dragon are you keeping your positive tests so you can prove to the GP that they are happening. There are a few things that can cause false positives if I remember. But also if you having numerous cp's it could be an egg quality issue. Either way I'd probably speak to my GP about it.

Saying that I wouldn't take a negative opk as a sign of no pregnancy, LH and HCG are similar but not the same so could easily. get a neg opk and be pregnant.

DragonsandDungeons · 17/09/2017 17:52

June I've taken pictures of them. If it's egg quality what can they do? Is it hopeless?

If this is a loss this will be my third in a row. I get pregnant every month apparently but seem to lose them each time :(

DragonsandDungeons · 17/09/2017 17:53

My GPs are also shit and ignore my concerns. They tell me I'm young and it'll happen.

GotADolly · 17/09/2017 18:00

@DragonsandDungeons this is so weird. I have had exactly the same! Positive tests then period a couple of days later. Doc also thinks I've been having early miscarriages.

ladydolly · 17/09/2017 18:13

dragons My acupuncturist says chemical pregnancies can be down to egg quality but also if you cycle isn't settled. So I've had one (possibly more than one) and she thinks it's just because my body isn't settled from having my coil out. I know that won't make you feel better but could it be you're not settled after your loss?

DragonsandDungeons · 17/09/2017 18:22

I never had this before my loss so possibly. I'd say they're evap lines but Evaps on EVERY test? My other negatives don't get Evaps.

ladydolly · 18/09/2017 06:54

Ok line is much darker today, for now, bfp. I'm not heading over to the other boards yet, did that time I had a cp and it was awful having to leave.

So, more finger crossing needed please.

ladydolly · 18/09/2017 06:56

Here they are... its not in my head is it? They look much clearer in person.
