Good luck to those who are due to test soon, particularly Lopey and Beansprout - it's sounding promising ladies.

Dragons - I'm afraid I don't know your history, but have you considered using Agnus Castus to try and regulate your cycles? From memory, it helped extend Mynameis's LP by quite a good few days.

Impatient - how did your GP appointment go? Did they agree to do an AMH test? I think I'll ask the private clinic to do that for me next week as I'm keen to know where we stand on that front.

OH's can be a pain when it comes to tests, can't they? DH was genuinely shocked when his first SA came back pointing to issues, as we'd both assumed that I was the problem (and to be honest, the control freak within me would find it so much easier if it was me as at least then I could try and tackle the issues...)

It's really tricky. I've spent most of the year making a concerted effort to drink very little caffeine and alcohol and taking so many vitamins I rattle but getting DH to change his lifestyle is a real uphill battle so I'm hoping our trip to the clinic might help in that regard.

DragonsandDungeons · 14/09/2017 21:05

Bean 9 days this month. It was shorter last month.

It used to be around 14 days when I conceived DS

DragonsandDungeons · 14/09/2017 21:06

Cariad I've bought some of that, I'm going to start taking it tomorrow for this cycle (I want to be sure this isn't an implantation bleed although I'm pretty sure it isn't). I hope it works. How long did she take it for, up to ovulation or afterwards too?

ladydolly · 14/09/2017 21:11

hedgehog I've been pregnant 3 times and every time I was nauseas before my bfp so before 4 weeks. Anecdotal but there you go!
DP's sperm tests arrived today. Needs 3 days stored up so I've left it with him :)

Nubian9454 · 14/09/2017 21:21

Monray first 2 looks positive. Happy BD Smile

Beansprout still no af. I am starting to feel depressed. Started taking vitex today. Has anyone used it before?

Sorry Dragon.

Any more news ladies? Who is testing next?

HappyHedgehog247 · 14/09/2017 21:25

Ooh thanks @ladydolly I'll keep enjoying my sliver of hope. Hope the sperm test goes well.

@dragons I used Angus castus in the past to help regulate cycle. I took it the whole time. Was not TTC though. Is it worth seeing if you can find a naturopath who might be able to advise? A friend swears by acupuncture for having helped with her fertility.

@cariad hope the clinic helps with DHs focus and is useful for you both.

ladydolly · 14/09/2017 21:34

I'm 6po, af due on Tues. I have a load of cheapie tests so will see how I feel on sunday/monday. Acupuncture tomorrow, could do with the relaxation!

SydBound27 · 15/09/2017 06:03

I'm still hanging on in here. 10dpo today and will probably do an ic with first wee tomorrow. Very very unlikely but I'm obviously hopelessly hopeful! Zero symptoms but I've spotted them every month I've had a bfn so maybe that's not a bad thing! Argh

SydBound27 · 15/09/2017 06:04

Just catching up - @lopey that's exciting! when will you test? We're in sync again...

Fluffykins1986 · 15/09/2017 07:12

9dpo. This vanished after 10 mins, now blank. Nothing?

4thtime · 15/09/2017 07:23

Did it come up in the time frame? If so it looks positive x

Fluffykins1986 · 15/09/2017 07:27

Yes, that was at three minutes. It was Boots' own.
Did First Response this morning, completely negative. Only 10dpo now so probably just too early to know either way.
Thanks for responding.

Nubian9454 · 15/09/2017 07:36

Fluffy that looks positive. Maybe wait a few more days before testing. Good luck

ElephantAndBird · 15/09/2017 08:22

It looks positive to me. Fingers crossed.

Beansprout30 · 15/09/2017 08:48

Looks positive fluffy

I got this earlier?!

Cariad I couldn't get in with GP! Trying again this morn.

Same here... I've virtually eliminated caffeine, alcohol, take vitamins until I rattle, starting acupuncture .... not to mention the physical sacrifices in giving him our lovely little boy, and the next one (if it ever comes!)

Meanwhile he pulls his face and swallows his pregnacare conception for men tablet suspiciously, he tolerates my attempts to cut his caffeine intake down (tub of decaf coffee I gave him for work found rolling round in back of his car, full) but basically just carries on as normal. Luckily he's not a big drinker, though that's only lack of opportunity! He still sneaks off for a fag in the evening, though he has cut down from a 'proper smoker' to a few a day, sometimes as few as 1 a day at weekends, but it's pathetic really.

So there we have it, Alpha male, 44, 6"5 and previously convinced he only has to look at me to get me up the duff.... he's taking the failure of the bfns quite hard now each month so I know he's questioning whether it's him...but not willing to take changing his lifestyle seriously to help!

Feel for everyone waiting to test/af or getting bfn... its so so hard every month...One day though, the test will be positive xx

4thtime · 15/09/2017 08:53

I see something on that one, fingers crossed for u x

ElephantAndBird · 15/09/2017 08:53

That looks positive too beansprout. How many dpo are you?

curliegirlie · 15/09/2017 09:16

Fingers crossed beansprout and fluffykins. CD 21 for me today and still yet to see an anywhere near positive ov test. I had one or two that were fairly dark at the weekend (one thin end of the lines were very dark, but still not matching control line) so I guess it's possible I ovulated last weekend and just somehow missed the surge in between the far too many ov tests I was taking. It's soooo frustrating though, cos it means a) I can't do my day 21 bloods this month, as literally no idea when that would be and b) I now have no notion when to expect AF, as I don't temp. Grrr!

Fluffykins1986 · 15/09/2017 09:31

I'm less sure about mine now. Accidentally weed on the results window which it says not to do, and also just seen in instructions that a positive test will remain on the stick for 48 hours - that vague line on mine was gone within literally 10 mins!
Good luck to all of you.

Fluffykins1986 · 15/09/2017 09:32

Also Beansprout that does look like a faint line!

Karpuzkiz · 15/09/2017 09:54

Yes beansprout that looks a positive!!!!

LadyPug · 15/09/2017 11:15

Hi guys,

I hope you don't mind me popping in but I'm keeping an eye on this thread to see if any positives occur and it looks like some are happening! Congrats to all!

I wondered if I could ask some advice..,

I had a bfp on Tuesday with a FRER then took a Superdrug test on Wednesday, still faint positive, then Thursday I took another test (clear blue) faint positive still then this morning I took a Poundland test and it took a few mins for positive to show and it was very weak so I stressed out. I've now taken another FRER and it came up bfp instantly and stronger than my Tuesday FRER. What do you think? Should I be worried? Sorry to be a hypochondriac but I have zero pregnancy symptoms and am worried and you guys know more about testing than me!

MynameisJune · 15/09/2017 11:16

beansprout looks positive to me, congratulations!

fluffy hope you get an answer soon and that it was a positive.

dragon I take AC the whole cycle, it has lengthened my cycles from 17-19 days to 28 day perfect cycle. So at least the egg has a chance to implant now. I read that LP needs to be at least 10 days to give the egg a chance to implant. I had a 10 day LP with DD.

cariad nice to see you back lovely, I'm keeping everything crossed that you're appointment gives DH a kick up the bum to get himself in gear. Keep us updated.

My scan and bloods all came back normal, so I have another appointment with the GP on 25th to see where we can go from here. Hopefully we can get some more in depth tests on the NHS before we decide if we will head down the IVF route.

MynameisJune · 15/09/2017 11:34

ladypug in the nicest possible way, step away from the tests. They cannot predict the successful outcome of the pregnancy. Unfortunately it is now just a waiting game to see what happens. Have faith and try to relax. If you're really worried maybe look at an early scan around 8 weeks.
