Et voila.

This Hut is more of a Bedouin or desert tent than anything too gloomy. We shall supply our our own gloom.

The answer is yes, I think you do need a yahoo account, as freecycle is hosted as a Yahoo forum. The advantage of a disposable yahoo email address is you don't need to worry about the inevitable spam from leaving it in a public forum.

And South-West to North-West? Hmmm... quite a long way for a glass of wine and a peek at a sofa. Would I be back home by teatime d'you think?

Impatience · 29/03/2007 12:55

tea-time on sunday perhaps!

sideways · 29/03/2007 14:11

I would like some billy bookcases, but I suspect it would be quicker and cheaper to drive to the nearest Ikea and buy some

Impatience · 29/03/2007 14:43

You not remotely near Merseyside, Seaside? I have two narrow ones and one wide one. The dark colour. Going free!

duchesse · 29/03/2007 15:12

seaside, you're in the West Country as well I think- our nearest Ikea is Reading, isn't it? Or is there one in Bristol? God, there might even be one in Plymouth for all I know...

OP posts:
duchesse · 29/03/2007 15:13

Or am getting confused with John Lewis, which is definitely in Bristol?

OP posts:
seaside72 · 29/03/2007 15:16

hey duchesse - yep - nearest one to southwest is Bristol - PITA to get to really - minimum 3 hours from me

seaside72 · 29/03/2007 15:17

No JL nearest is Bristol too - Cribbs Causeway - they think we dont need any department stores down here as we are al wurzels!! - Actually am off to Exeter for the day tomorrow (actualy for a Habitat fix!!!) duchesse - can you recommend anywhere nice for lunch??

Impatience · 29/03/2007 15:25

OOOPS! I meant to be asking SIDEWAYS whether she lives up here! Sorry Sideways. I am crap with names anyway, and today am being spectacularly incompetent, so it was inevitable.

I lived in Bristol for years. Love it. Hearing you talk about Habitat and even Cribbs Causeway is making me homesick!

sideways · 29/03/2007 16:46

Sorry - nowhere near!

Soreheart · 29/03/2007 17:43

ARGH. Am having a bad day. Am slumping in the corner. G&T. With a piece of lime.

God God God. I am so angry . DP has called to advise he's down and it's my fault as I'm getting everything my way and he's got nothing and how do I feel about that.

I'm so angry. [angry.

How childish. How very wrong and I've had to go a long way this year (personal work) to be able to start making things move more my way and to actually vocalise how I'm feeling and asking for things I didn't dare ask for.

I'm so angry.

Soreheart · 29/03/2007 17:45

LNO, I'm so very sorry to hear about your news. Life is just so mean. I do hope your numbers come up - assuming you do the Lotto - and you don't have to worry about funding to try again.

duchesse · 29/03/2007 18:25

Well seaside, there is Café Bleu, which is relatively and cheerful, next to Athena, just off the High Street. Fancy a meet up? I'm only 6 miles out of Exeter, and need to come in to the bank tomorrow anyway...

OP posts:
duchesse · 29/03/2007 18:27

Oh dear, Soreheart. Your partner sounds as though he's having a me moment. Maybe he will realise that he's upset you soon and apologise?

OP posts:
Sunshinedays · 29/03/2007 18:37

Soreheart - what a nasty day you're having - would you like some posh nibbly-nobs to go with that G&T?

I think I'll join you with that G&T. Fancy a top up?

scorpio1 · 29/03/2007 18:39

Chocolatedays · 29/03/2007 18:42
