Well i feel like my af is on its way. A bit early though as thought i only ov at weekend but I've got stomach cramps tonight

Hope you don't mind me joining this post. I'm Claire and sadly had a miscarriage on Monday 20th. Two trips to EPU and pretty devastated. First pregnancy-was about 6 weeks. But now the bleeding is definitely slowing down which is a relief. More brown than the bright red blood I had earlier in the week. I understand you can't try again till the bleeding stops but do you have to wait for a period?

Aw crazy that's so great. My mc was 13 Feb so hoping I'll be just behind you. CD12 today (normally ovulate cd19) so not in FW yet.

Sorry about your mc user - do you want to start trying again straight away?

We would like to start trying again. We've had four days of tears but yesterday was the first day I was starting to feel like myself again.

I don't know if we need to wait for my period or can try before then.

claire I didn't wait for my period, my first one should have been tomorrow but I have a positive test instead, do what helps you!

Claire, sorry you're joining us her. Second what crazy says, quite a few people conceive straight away without af ever arriving, it happened to me in September. The main thing is to wait till you're completely comfy, bleeding's stopped, and you and your DP/DH are ready then crack on.

Anne I just had a weird feeling! The spotting instead of AF, heartburn, dizziness etc. However now the initial excitement has passed I am incredibly paranoid. I have done an ic test this morning which is negative and I'm so so so worried that I could be having a chemical pregnancy. I suppose if I am there's nothing I can do so may as well stop worrying.

Deep breath and try and relax. AF still isn't due till the weekend and all the tests have different levels they pick up.

Today, despite the stupid IC, you are pregnant. This is a good thing! Your First Response was clear as day.

Hi. AF has arrived. So I can head to London for a weekend with the girls with no stress. Officially cd1 of cycle where we start to try again.
Nervous. But excited as well. I feel like some hormonal issues may be starting to balance, cycle was same length as last month, which hasn't happened to me in 2 years.
Must NOT drink too much this weekend or have a cheeky cigarette. Will only blame myself if I do catch soon and it goes wrong again.

I'm not sure how many DPO I am Anne. I'm guessing around 8?

Step away from the IC crazy! As Anne says they all pick up different levels of hormone and AF isn't due until tomorrow so all is not lost.

Welcome claire. So sorry for your loss. Generally the wait for a period advice is for dating and so you definitely know it is a new pregnancy but I think go with whatever feels comfortable for your.

Got another blood test on Wednesday so might wait till then. But definitely lost all my pregnancy symptoms.

Hmmmmm. Went for a run this morning which seems to have brought on some reddy/brown spotting. DH's pessimistic pep-talk seems to have done the trick and I think the witch might just be coming early for me this month .

I don't want to be unhelpful emily but at this point in your cycle it sounds much more like implantation than af. I was reading about cycles the other day and it was saying that the time between ov and af is standard, so when your cycle is longer or shorter it's to do with you ov date changing.

All sorts seems to change post mc but if I were you I wouldn't give up hope yet. I'm very impressed with your running. Aren't you meant to be on holiday relaxing?

Thanks for the positivity Anne. I'm desperately hoping it could be implantation bleeding but it is looking more and more like the spotting I always get for a few days before AF. I think I may have ovulated around CD11 this month which would make AF due around Tuesday. Anyway, you're not out until you're out as they say.

I do like a nice holiday run, what can I say! DH however hated every minute. And at least I don't have to feel so guilty about just having fish and chips for lunch!
