Ok so I am bravely attempting to set up a new thread for anyone tTC.
Plug in your stats ...
Share the highs of your journey
Limit the lows - yes it's a challenging time but being negative gets you down.
I'm thinking positivity breeds positivity and positive thinking gets positive results -
It may take some of us a little longer than others ... but does that matter? I think not.

New rules - instead of saying af due ... we say bfp due ...

So here goes ... my stats
Age 38
Cycle 3
Bfp due 14/02

Hope you fit in some dtd Hippychic!

Yes, CD40, but think that's just because still breastfeeding is affecting my cycles, as didn't get any ewcm till 18th and just getting usual symptoms after ovulation at the mo. I held off till after a week after my period was due to test with DS, as there'd been lots of posters have chemical pregnancies that I didn't want to get my hopes up. Plus I'm not really working - just a little bit of freelance stuff when DS naps/in evenings that doesn't amount to much - so don't want to be buying tests unnecessarily, as trying to watch the pennies :)

Yaaaaaaaay Salem!!! SmileSmileSmile

SalemTheTeenageWitch · 27/01/2017 17:24

Hippy FX that you get your positive opk. Mine appeared out of the blue dye!!! How are you today? I hope you get to DTD with your inlaws there. Do you have any nice plans with them?

Sweetcheeks & Baking I am sending you my admiration because I don't know how you cope with a little person who doesn't sleep well.

sweetcheeks24 · 27/01/2017 18:29

Haha thanks Salem Smile Although it's frustrating at times, I don't mind too much as I know it won't last forever...also I know I'm very lucky just to have this little person who is keeping me awake! FX you too will soon be struggling to get any sleep due to your noisy bundle of joy!! GrinWinkGrin

bakingmad83 · 27/01/2017 19:46

Thanks Salem, like Sweetcheeks I can't complain too much. In fairness he now only wakes once or twice a night, far better than the two hourly wakes until a couple of months ago, and I don't go out to work either, so could be much worse. Hopefully you'll have the same problem (or a little one that sleeps) very soon :)

glitteryvibes · 27/01/2017 21:01

Sweet and Baking - I love the fact that you both recognise how lucky you are to have one bundle of joy keeping you up ... I hear so many people complaining about their kids it upsets me a little as I would do anything to have a dc xxx

I know what you mean, Hippy. I am probably guilty of appearing complacent at times, but I do try to remember that I am very fortunate and should appreciate every moment with my little one, good or bad. Hope you enjoy your weekend with the inlaws and hope your luck may be in for double sexy times!! WinkGrinWinkGrin

sweetcheeks24 · 28/01/2017 07:37

Also here is my contribution for today xx

Woohoo, loving the smiley Hippy! It's very exciting to see, I almost compared it to what a BFP would feel like?!

Sorry to hear that Glittery but now you have a new chance to get a BFP. Maybe you can do some things you couldn't if you were upduffed?

So today is the weekend :) I can feel some Ov cramps which is good. We DTD Thursday, Friday and hopefully today so fx for that BFP. Temping hasn't really done much for me: my chart looks like the Himalayas!

SalemTheTeenageWitch · 28/01/2017 08:18

Also I have just stumbled on this quote that I love!

sweetcheeks24 · 28/01/2017 08:47

Nice quote Salem!
[And sorry for AF, Glittery - I missed that post somehow] xx

Hippychic79 · 28/01/2017 11:52

Thanks sweet and Salem for the quotes ... :)))
Hope you manage to get lots of bd in Salem .... yes yes yes come on bfp's ....

Oh says he's up for dtd later .... fx we have a relaxing day and he's still up for it later ... he's not aware how hard I'm trying .... he wants to try properly later in the year .... i wish he was on board but at the same time I don't think he'd be able to handle the pressure of this tTC lark .....

Have a lovely day ladies and thank you for helping me keep the positivity alive xxx

Glittery hope February is your lucky month!

Fingers crossed you get to dtd with your OH as planned Hippychic and Salem.

Took DS to an aquarium for the first time today. He lost interest after a bit, but was mesmerised by the jellyfish :)

Think it's easy for sleepless nights to get to you after a while. You expect that you won't get much sleep for the first few months, but when that's still the case one or two years in, you do complain a bit. Though I find I talk about it only with other parents in the same boat. Keeping active, getting out in the fresh air, eating well and keeping busy all help me to stay positive when not getting much sleep. Sure they're all good for ttc too :)

sweetcheeks24 · 28/01/2017 22:13

Woo hoo, Hippy! Glad OH is up for some action. Hopefully tonight is the night! Wink Perhaps he really is on board as much as you are re TTC but is reluctant to show it? My DH was like this- even when I got my BFP, he barely showed any excitement or enthusiasm, which used to really upset me. But then I realised he was just scared and worried about getting too attached in case anything were to go wrong.
Hope tonight is your lucky night too, Salem! Wink
Aww how lovely Baking. We've not taken DS to an aquarium yet but can't wait to see his wee face when we eventually do Smile
I think that's me out for this month too Sad; will know for sure in the morning.
Good luck to the rest of you ladies!!

SalemTheTeenageWitch · 28/01/2017 22:23

I love jellyfish Baking!! I wonder if they have all these TTC concerns?! Lack of sleep is one thing that I worry about. I work a 50+ hour week so need lots of zzzzzs. You are right though, uou expect it in the tiny stage.

Oh no Sweetcheeks sending Flowers. My FX for you that it's implantation spotting?

sweetcheeks24 · 28/01/2017 22:36

Wowzers Salem, that's a busy old week!
I made the mistake of pondering that myself last month....but you never know! Will update tomorrow Smile

bakingmad83 · 29/01/2017 07:28

Fingers crossed for you Sweetcheeks!

No wonder you need your sleep Salem!

In fairness we've never done any kind of sleep training with DS, just figured he'd sleep through when ready. If you do need more sleep there are potentially various ways you can get them to sleep longer though and if your OH helps at night that can give you some extra shut eye. DS won't settle for DH, but know plenty of people whose little ones will.

sweetcheeks24 · 29/01/2017 07:36

Morning all! Feeling confused and impatient Confused Sorry in advance for TMI....Yesterday evening I noticed a small amount of bleeding - I'd had one of those hectic days where you keep putting off going to the loo cos you've got no time! So it wasn't until quite late that I noticed and by then the blood was quite dark (sorry!) but wasn't sure if it was always that colour or if it had just darkened over time?! I had the tiniest spark of hope that it was implantation bleeding but then when I wiped, there was a streak of pinkish blood. So then I dismissed the idea of implantation bleeding as the blood looked too light. Woke up this morning expecting there to be normal AF - but nothing! Got a little too excited as I never usually have a delay between spotting and full blown AF - so I tested, but got a BFN Sad I guess I just need to wait a little longer - my cycles as still adjusting; for last two months, they've been 29 days so still time for AF to show up, plus they've been known to last as long as 36 days.... it is going to be a slow painful wait....! I need to channel some positivity!!
