Thanks Hippychic, Salem and Charley
Charley DS is 25 months, so even if this is the cycle there'll be 2yrs 10m between them. Probably would have liked a gap nearer 2 yrs, but as he's been such a boob monster didn't get AF back till November. I've got a friend with just 15m though - not sure I could have managed that, but she loves them being so close in age and they are really attached to each other. Pros and cons of any age gap I guess and whatever fits in with you.
Sweetcheecks DS is the same, doesn't sleep through, though resettle him in cot, as found cosleeping just led to even more feeding and even worse sleep for everyone as he won't feed lying down. Wouldn't mind him coming to bed if he just wanted a cuddle and be close, but always ends up feeding, so knocked that on the head. He's only got 2 back molars left to come through now though, feels like he's been teething forever and pretty sure that's why he's unsettled at night, so fingers crossed he'll sleep better once they're in. Hopefully your DS will start sleeping through before too long.
I'm hoping that if I do get bfp soon that will help with weaning DS, as know changes in hormones can change the taste of milk - already feeding less since af returned - and your milk tends to dry up. He's got cow's milk protein allergy and I wanted to keep up bf, so that's largely why we're still feeding now. At least he'll take oat milk from a beaker now, so could try that at night to help with weaning. But I'm digressing, sorry!
Hope you all have a nice weekend! Anything planned? DH is working, but want to take DS out as not done much this week, as he had a stomach bug, so couldn't do playgroup, soft play etc.
