Ok so I am bravely attempting to set up a new thread for anyone tTC.
Plug in your stats ...
Share the highs of your journey
Limit the lows - yes it's a challenging time but being negative gets you down.
I'm thinking positivity breeds positivity and positive thinking gets positive results -
It may take some of us a little longer than others ... but does that matter? I think not.

New rules - instead of saying af due ... we say bfp due ...

So here goes ... my stats
Age 38
Cycle 3
Bfp due 14/02

Morning Sweetcheeks! It's awful when things are up in the air, but sounds like there is still a chance for you. I had a pink implantation bleed with DS, so it is possible that the blood you've seen could be from implantation. Confusing for you if you've got a BFN, but read on here about people who've taken several days after period due to get BFP, so fingers crossed that's what's going on here! Not easy when you don't have regular cycles back, wondering how long this one will be, currently CD42. Our bodies like to keep us guessing :)

Have you anything nice planned for today to take your mind off it?

SalemTheTeenageWitch · 29/01/2017 08:50

Sweetcheeks I had the same thing happen to me last month on around CD20. I was convinced it was implantation spotting. I don't know what it was in the end but it was my body playing tricks on me. BUT it could be implantation bleeding (FX that it is!!!). What CD are you on and do you have any other symptoms?

Baking were your cycles as long before you had DC?

I am being incredibly ridiculous and day dreaming about being able to dress DC up in Halloween costumes and pushing a pram around in the autumnal leaves with a coffee. Oh dear I have lost the plot!!!!

sweetcheeks24 · 29/01/2017 08:53

Thanks for the encouragement, Baking! I won't give up just yet then Wink I think the extent of our day will be going to soft play so that should keep me occupied!
Our bodies certainly do like to keep us guessing! CD42! Hope your cycles even out soon, does make it such a guessing game when there is no consistency.
Do you have some nice plans for today?

Hi,
Ttc#3
Cycle 5
2x CP's in the last 3 months.
Currently having my second cp. Stupidly tested a week early and got BFP, but watched in horror as subsequent tests got fainter and fainter until bfn this morning followed by signs of AF.
Sooo, next BFP is due approx 28th feb but could possible be beginning of March.
What a journey this ttc lark is?

Moo31 · 29/01/2017 11:52

Age - 30
Ttc #1
Cycle 5
Bfp due 1 or 2 Feb

Hope I'm not intruding and apologies in advance if this is a long post but I was looking for some reassurance and stumbled across your thread and lots of your posts and experiences resonate with me (irregular cycles, impatient 2ww, low drives, opk frustration, symptom spotting). Refreshing to read positive posts and while I've been trying to be positive your posts / inspirational quotes etc have definitely helped!

My oh is 33, I came off the pill in July and we have been ttc since September. My cycles have been all over the place (due to 2 long haul flights with work according to the Dr - who knew?!). One cycle was 41 days - argh! BUT we were so on it this month - calculated possible fertile days based on cycles ranging from 28 to 32 days, we used opks properly based on those calculations. I got faint lines on 19th and dark lines on 20th. We dtd 5 days in a row (a record for us!) from 17th to 21st.

I finally confided in a friend yesterday and it felt like a weight off being able to talk to someone who has been there before!

I am feeling positive as the end of my 2ww approaches!

baby dust to you all

SalemTheTeenageWitch · 29/01/2017 15:33

Sorry to hear about your CP 2ducks and welcome to our thread Flowers. You are right, it is such a crazy journey but I suppose that its all a part of the ups and downs that makes life exciting? FX for next time for you.

Welcome Moo. Wow, 5 days in a row! I have only managed 3 days in a row this cycle and even then DH complained! Anyone else's DHs finding the BDing a bit of a 'chore'? I feel that DH and I are going through a bit of an unsettled patch and it is all because we want to get upduffed :( I don't suppose it helps that I work long hours (assistant head of school).

Love the positivity Hippy. Keep going everyone, we will get there one day Smile.

2ducks2ducklings · 29/01/2017 16:44

My husband doesn't complain unless he thinks I'm doing it just because it's my fertile week, so I have to sometimes pretend I'm just super horny rather than just needing to dtd because I'm ovulating Wink
I'm in a really positive mood today, despite everything. I am lucky to have two children already, we're just about to move to a new house, which needs total renovation, we're looking at actually booking a trip to New York this year, rather than just dreaming about it. So even if it doesn't happen for us, I'm already a very lucky duck.
Sod's law says we'll book everything up and then get a BFP with a sticky egg, but I'll happily take that!

bakingmad83 · 29/01/2017 18:22

Sorry for your losses 2Ducks. A trip to NY sounds amazing, something to look forward to and a good distraction. And like you say, the chances are you'll get a BFP before you go :)

Great to hear you are feeling positive Moo. Hope this is your month!

DS enjoys soft play too Sweetcheeks, so over the winter it's become a regular activity. Had to do the food shop today, as DH off so he could mind our little one, as shopping doesn't work out too well at the mo when I take him. This afternoon we walked over to my parents and going to theirs always feels like a different activity for DS, as now find we can't just hang about the house/village like we used to.

Salem, I had similar thoughts when I realised DS's due date was just after Christmas, but with cute Christmas outfits :) Although until my late 20s I had irregular cycles, which docs wouldn't investigate as wasn't ttc, I settled into a pretty regular 30 days the couple of years before DS arrived.

I'm now wondering if I'm not actually getting a bleed this month, as although I had the usual symptoms I get after ovulation, they've now gone and no sign of af. There's no extreme tiredness that I started with a week before my period was due with DS, so doubtful I could be pregnant, as everyone I know who's been pregnant has always complained of tiredness early on. It will be annoying if my cycle just starts again without a bleed (did once have this before), as then you really have no clue where you're at. Now I'm typing this, af will probs show up tomorrow!

SalemTheTeenageWitch · 29/01/2017 19:07

Dollydaydream2829 · 29/01/2017 19:57

Hi ladies,
I've posted in a couple of the other groups but loving the positivity of this group and feel like I'm in a very positive mind frame just now so could hopefully add to the group Smile
TTC #1
Cycle: 3
CD 23
9 DPO
First month of using OPKs, not sure how successful they have been for me as my ovulation symptoms matched a different day to the positive I got on the test but hey ho, can only wait and see.

BFP due 04/02 GrinGrinStar

SalemTheTeenageWitch · 29/01/2017 20:04

Thanks Baking. I have now entered the 2ww, so it is giving me something to do! Although, TMI Warning, today I have noticed some spotting in my knickers and some pink when I wiped. I am hoping this is implantation but tbh AS IF it is going to be that! It is probably my cervix telling me to stop DTD haha!

Welcome Dolly to our positive thread Smile. I had the same thing this cycle when I have started to use OPKs. My FW was all over the place according to Ovia & FF. I just stuck with what the OPKs told me! You are right, we can only wait and see.

I hope everyone is ok this evening x

Charley2016 · 29/01/2017 20:22

Thanks Salem, great idea! Loving everyone's positivity. I actually feel more positive and less crazy this month, but then it is only 2dpo haha!

So back from my weekend in London 😊 found out my cousin and uncle are both having little girls! I'm so happy for them both and they are all going to be such amazing little families but I found myself trying to not talk about myself and what I would do etc. Feel awful! So I'm 2dpo now so managed to dtd the 4 days the 4 days before ovulation and can only keep my fingers crossed! I have a spa day Thursday which I already feel like I shouldn't be going to just in case but my sisters had it planned for ages and I would only be 6dpo if I was, so not sure how that stands!

bakingmad83 · 29/01/2017 20:47

Glad to hear you're feeling positive Charley! Sounds like you've given yourself a good chance of a bfp this month :)

I think it's only natural to feel like that when you hear other people are expecting, however close they are to you. Hopefully there'll be a small gap in age between your little one and theirs so some lovely little playmates for when you meet up :)

A spa day sounds lovely. If it was me, I'd still go and enjoy it without worrying. I know where you're coming from and I avoided spa days when I was officially pregnant with DS, but this might be your last chance to have one before you are definitely pregnant, so enjoy some well-deserved relaxation :)

Welcome Dolly. Hope it's your lucky month!

2Ducks - Welcome to the PMA thread, thank you for joining us.
Sorry to hear about your CP's. I'm loving your PMA and it sounds like you've got lots to look forward to / keep you busy.

Moo - Welcome to the PMA thread too. Snap, I've been TTC since September but my OH doesn't want to start properly trying till later on this year, as such I've missed a few fertile windows so I'm only counting the cycles where I've dtd in fertile week, thus why I'm only on cycle 3 :) Good Luck... not long till your expected BFP.... I'm wondering who will be our first graduate and would like to say .... everyone is still welcome on here even when they graduate ... :)))

Baking - Good Luck, keep us posted please.

Salem, thank you for the list, you're a star

Dolly - Welcome to the PMA thread

Charley - enjoy the spa... you've done the best you can this cycle... relaxation is just what we need in the 2WW...

Quick update from me - positive OPK on Saturday (CD14), OH fell asleep that night however we did DTD last night (CD15) so I feel like I'm in with a good chance this cycle.... just one sperm ... that's all we need.

Love to all

Thanks for the reassurance about the spa ladies! I was starting to feel awful about going! I've decided that other than that day I'm doing a dry February regardless of BFP or not!

How many DPO is everyone? I felt so much calmer this month than the others but I'm only 3dpo and already feel this will be a long tww!

Hippychic79 · 30/01/2017 10:25

Charley ... PMA ... 2WW will fly by and we'll all be upduffed with dry 9 months before we know it :)))))

I'm 10dpo now, so getting close to the TWW being over and my BFP to appear Grin Refusing to symptom spot this month (not that there are many! Haha) so I'm going with the flow!
Go to the spa, relax and enjoy yourself charley, sounds like a lot of us could do with it!
FX that wee sperm does its job hippy!!

Charley2016 · 30/01/2017 11:12

Eek so close dolly! Fingers crossed this week you'll get a lovely sticky BFP!

I'm going to totally look forward to my spa, chill out, enjoy myself and try to stop counting down the minutes haha!

Hippychic79 · 30/01/2017 11:29

Not long to go for some of you lovely ladies... I'm so excited I can't wait to see all the BFP's

:)))))) I know what you mean Charley.... the 2WW is hard going and seems to drag on especially the last few days and the test Vs not to test decision.

Fingers crossed for you Hippychic!

Based on when my typical post ovulation symptoms appeared this month, I'd be 10dpo too Dolly, but as they've now gone, not sure what my body is up to! Hard not to symptom spot, but probably the best way. Feel a bit out of sorts today, but that could be down to getting little sleep last night, so not totally lost hope for this month. Feel luck may be on my side, as managed to escape a parking ticket this morning - forgot to put a disc in my window when I took DS to rhyme time and they're usually super hot on enforcing parking restrictions round here, but no ticket when I got back an hour later :)

Hippychic79 · 30/01/2017 12:37

I found this on another thread on here, tried it, like it - wanted to share it..

It's a when to test calculator :)
