Hello there

Is there anyone else on here trying for their first baby around the same age as me? 25/26? Would love to talk to someone about it as I am currently driving my husband mad with all the TTC chat!

Same here Misty and tuxie I feel like I knew nothing at all about conceiving until I joined MN!

Not surprisingly I had yet another "high" reading today and no peak! The test line was much fainter today though whereas yesterday it was almost the same as the control, so I'm going to just hope for the best and assume I just missed the surge. Into the 2ww now (although AF is due on the 6th according to my app so it'll be a short one if that's right).

Misty when the thread gets to 1000 posts we won't be able to post on it anymore, that's the limit. Mrsj you'll have to make another thread and post a link to it here so we don't lose eachother Smile xx

MistyBxx · 23/02/2017 10:37

Omg so we haven't got many to go then before it disappears!!! Right I have nothing to report lol no symptoms (well achey boobs but I've learned this is a normal af symptom for me, despite starting 6dpo!!) and I've still had a little bit of watery/ew cm (been googling and cm post ovulation is a very unpredictable pg symptom as so many people have cm in luteal phase while af is on its way) so I'm feeling chilled and accepting of my situation lol i know I didn't dtd enough or the right days this cycle so I'm expecting af like clockwork on 2nd March. I'm not gonna post on here now unless I have something particularly useful to say haha I want to leave space for the bfp announcements tomoz!! But if anyone does make a new thread, please share it here so we can all stick together!xx

mrsjkerry · 23/02/2017 10:55

I will make a new one and post the link in here so we can continue as we have been!

Sorry, I've been AWOL for 24 hours (feels like ages without checking in with you ladies)!!

Yes yes please to making a new thread mrsjkerry I can't have you guys disappearing just as the BFP potentially start rolling in!

Hope you're all having a good end of the week. I had a good indepth chat with the OH yesterday and talked through the FW (I've convinced myself this month isn't our month so I needed to get him educated and up to speed on the whole timing thing ready for next month). I'm just impatient to get this month over if it's a bfn and get trying again in march!!

Twistedsister7 · 23/02/2017 18:02

Hi everyone. Although I may get a bfn I am testing tomorrow morning before my girlie weekend away.

The reason is simple, I feel awful with lower back pain, pelvic cramps (like a stitch/stab by), tired & general yuckiness. My rational brain says water infection but hopeful brain says baby!!

I know it's too early but I am prepared for a bfn and if it is I will enjoy my weekend without longing to poas!!

It is within the frer 6 days before af time so fx but I'm not looking at prams online 😂

tuxie11 · 23/02/2017 18:09

twisted perfect reasoning I think! I've got my fingers crossed for you, we all love an online pram stalk (I do love the bugaboos!)

marie how did OH like the chat? I found it really helped him understand the 'game plan' and not realise that it was just me jumping him every day! still a glimmer of a chance but yay, march looks like it could be exciting!!

Hi. I was wondering if anyone had anything similar happen and could give me some advice. I have been off the pill for 3 months and we are trying for a baby. A few weeks ago around the time I think I was ovulating I had brown spotting for 3 days. I went to the doctors and had a smeer test and some other swabs done that all came back clear/negative. I usually have a 32 or 33 day cycle but am now 6 days late, or 11 days late if I go by a 28 day cycle. I have done 2 pregnancy tests which both were negative. What should I do now? Is there a chance I could still be pregnant or might it be something else? Help would be much appreciated as haven't been able to get hold of a doctor.

tuxie11 · 23/02/2017 18:31

Hi user, sometimes I believe if you are PG it can take a while for a home test to pick it up. I would continue to test but would look at trying to book either a GP appt or a walk in as they could potentially do a blood test to see if you are pregnant or if it's something else Smile

Kitcaty · 23/02/2017 18:43

Thanks, I phoned a family planning clinic today but they said I should go drs as they could only really help if I didn't want a family! Seems impossible to get hold of my dr at the moment but will try again tomorrow. Trouble is I'm going on holiday next Monday so would like to know before hand really

mrsjkerry · 23/02/2017 18:49

Go to a walk in and explain the situation. They should be able to help further if you can't get hold of GP.

Kitcaty · 23/02/2017 19:14

I'm too old haha, I'm 29 and in my area they only do walk ins for under 25s :(

tuxie11 · 23/02/2017 19:16

Have you any pregnancy symptoms?

mrsjkerry · 23/02/2017 19:24

That's not true. Find an NHS walk in service and go there.

Kitcaty · 23/02/2017 19:24

Well other than being 6 days late I've been having cramping and swollen sore boobs but I usually get that around AF. Never been late before ever so that's why I'm confused. The spotting was around when I was ovulating so possibly could be implantation bleeding but think I'm just getting my hopes up.

Kitcaty · 23/02/2017 19:25

Oh really? They said for a walk in I had to be under 25 but they could make me an appointment for next week to see someone instead

tuxie11 · 23/02/2017 19:27

It's could be a possibility. I would keep testing but book an appointment too. You could also try a range of different sensitivity tests too and see if the results vary

mrsjkerry · 23/02/2017 19:28

I have made a new thread. Will post link.
