Is there anyone else on here trying for their first baby around the same age as me? 25/26? Would love to talk to someone about it as I am currently driving my husband mad with all the TTC chat!

marie it's good to be bitchy! I don't think any woman can say that every PG announcement they have gone through they haven't once thought that they wished it was them! It's a bit weird practise to say how long it took I think? If it's taken a while then bask in the excitement but I don't think I would gloat it only took one go!

TTC just keep having some good sexy time and 🤞🏻that's all it takes. I honestly didn't realise just how exhausting having so much sex could be!!

I'm weirdly feeling totally cool about everything, I defo know the sore boobies are from impending af (due in 8 days and last 3 cycles I've had bad boobs from 3/4 days post ov, first couple of times I've convinced myself it's pg but I've wised up to my af symptoms now) but the crazy dancing defo hasn't helped, can tell I'm 32 not 22 any more lol one night of partying and I'm struggling for days! Didn't drink much, only a couple of wines but defo went ott on the dancing, aching more than I do after circuits class lol.x

I am 6DPO but 10 days from AF according to Ovia. Not sure how I am going to last waiting that long! Some apps predict my period two days earlier than Ovia so I may test then...if it doesn't come before. 6 days from a preg test if I get early response one....

Marie I think AF is due 2nd march but as it's my first full month off the pill I'm not sure how accurate that will be!

Mrsj must be hard for you- I think everyone gets that slight twinge of jealousy when they see the news, but got my fx for you when you choose to test xx

So I have a weird one. I am fairly certain I ovulated on time, as usual. Had usual ewcm & pains etc but no opks. Today I had the tiniest amount of ewcm at 4dpo!! Wtf??

Twisted if it's tiny I wouldn't worry too much, Have you done a CM check?

I think CM can be different for everyone, I had v thick creamy from 8DPO ish. Is it something you've noticed before? If not it could be a good sign!

I also have strange pains low down, extreme tiredness & funny headaches. But I'm trying not to convince myself because I'm a person who gets easily tired & suffers migraines anyway with a pretty hectic job that has gone off the charts at the moment. The internal struggle continues of yay it's a sign/no it's not!!

I feel like desire lack of OPKs DH & I really made an effort this month & we had fun rather than dtd being a chore. Fingers crossed tentatively but I don't want to build myself up as I'm rather sensitive at the moment anyway with stress & conflict at work.

twisted I had a few funny pains down low in early DPO so that sounds good. I've only had one cycle post pill but it was as normal as can be. Day before due on I was cranky as a mofo and an utter cow - but after my period was normal, and it was fine. I had no abnormal pains or anything so I found it unusual to have lots of bloating and cramps in the days that followed.

Thoughts on if a test needs to be used on first morning pee or doesn't matter?

Best to use FMU tuxie as that's when HCG levels would be highest!

TTC that's what I thought I've heard mixed reviews but thought it would be best when ripe (I'll need to grow some balls too)

Frer say not necessary but it is the strongest so always best xx

Tuxie - if you didn't use FMU and got a BFN would you then convince yourself it was because you should have tested first thing? Probably best to wait to be sure.

I went for my gym session anyway today but told my trainer what was going on and we did no ab/core work. My boobs are definitely more swollen as the bra I wore last week to my session caused no problems but today was really digging in to me and my boobs actually hurt when I was running. Some twinges in my stomach too, but could be hunger or could be phantom even - who knows! Trying not to be obsessed, but I am even more crazy this month than any other due to all the efforts we put in! Am constantly reading symptom websites etc... man I can't wait this long till march!!!

I don't think I'd blame it on it not being FMU - tho my friend who is about 11weeks has said that her midwife said it doesn't need to be FMU either way, I don't have a test so looks like Friday morn will be test say so long as my period stays far away!

It's the bumps around your nipples. I believe they get more pronounced as they keep your nipples lubricated for breastfeeding. I literally had to google 'bumpy nips' hahaha
