Thank you ladies. Letting him go was so hard but it's been something I knew I would have to do for the past month. It was so hard. I feel so guilty. Just trying to make myself get out of bed and go downstairs and not see him. Love to you all. I hope everyone finds some joy this weekend. X

kwick my fingers are crossed that you start out the new year with a bfp.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas Eve. Blessings to all of you. X

INeedNewShoes · 24/12/2016 20:03

Karen Flowers I hope you manage to find some little moments of joy over Christmas even though you feel so sad.

Merry Christmas everyone Smile

My 20-week scan went smoothly on Thursday so finally I feel that I can be excited about the baby! I'm being kicked by baby a lot now which is such a lovely feeling and useful daily reassurance that everything is OK.

Willing you all to get your BFPs as early on in 2017 as possible Smile

kwick · 24/12/2016 23:00

shoes this is wonderful news!!! Can we get a pic of your bump please? Are you in maternity attire?

pickle162 · 26/12/2016 20:20

How was everyone's Xmas?

StorkAhoy · 27/12/2016 17:51

Merry Christmas to all! I've had a family focus for the past few days, hence I've been awol!

Hoping you are all well!

karen, I'm dreadfully sorry, but you've done as I would with my fur baby. Xox

shoes how lovely!

Everyone else, hi!

Since my bfn I've been generally okay, but the last few days have been incredibly tough, from shopping for friends babies, to just having new baby announcements happening all over the place, when will it be my turn I wonder?

Xoxo

kwick · 28/12/2016 09:36

Christmas was good pickle we had out family shindig yesterday and today I will be going home from my mum's and will try not to POAS as soon as I get home

The thing is, ever since I was little, I have imagined what it would feel like to be pregnant. I thought I would know but even when I did get my BFP I really did not have this mystic feeling... I am swinging from hope to despair... fricking hate the 2ww...

Merry Christmas everyone :D Congratulations shoes 20 weeks, so exciting! I got my AMH result today, 13.56... not sure if that's good or not :/ if anyone with more experience can enlighten me that would be great, although it might be kinda meaningless without the ultrasound/AFC.

Loopsdefruits · 28/12/2016 12:55

kwick good luck!! I know that feel, always wanted to experience being pregnant/being a mum, it's such a deep need

pickle162 · 28/12/2016 15:45

How old are you loops? Mine was 9, for my age range the range is 6.8-47 so I'm nearer the lower range (I'm 32) but until I've had my consultation in a couple of weeks I don't know much more
Few more days to go kwick nearly there love
Totally have that desire to know what it's like being pregnant and a mummy! Hopefully we'll all get to know that feeling.

Congratulations shoes half way there, seems to have gone quite quick

Loopsdefruits · 28/12/2016 17:01

Oh sorry! Yeh, I'm 25 (26 in May). I think the 'normal range' is 13.1-53.8 according to one site I found, I'm just angsting I think

pickle162 · 28/12/2016 18:11

When they rang me with the results they said wouldn't be able to do egg share ivf because of being on the low level but did say it's still normal but encouraged me to book a consultation (which I already had booked)
Only 15days and 19hours till my appointment !!!!!!!!

kwick · 28/12/2016 18:41

Still hoping and crossing my fingers for you Kwick - no AF yet means anything's still possible!

I hope everyone is enjoying the Christmas break. I'm at my parents' place along with my brother's family so its nice and lively here! My nephew and I are about to make another batch of mince pies. Christmas isn't finished here yet Grin

All this eating means I've finally put back on the weight that I lost when I was ill last month (it's only taken 7 weeks Confused).

Loops - your AMH is within 'normal' range although admittedly at the lower end of it. I wouldn't worry about it. Its an indicator of how many eggs you have left so I view it as being a good kick up the backside to get on with it sooner rather than later but nothing more worrying than that!

Kwick - I am in maternity clothes now. Luckily I saw a good friend of mine a couple of weeks ago who's had a baby, and I came away with around six maternity tops and another friend passed on a pair of jeans. Its a good job because on Boxing Day (probably something to do with all the food) my bump just suddenly popped! A week ago I was successfully concealing my pregnancy from my colleagues and now its bloomin' obvious!

kwick · 29/12/2016 16:00

shoes rejoice in your blooming state Grin

No AF as still sticking crinone up my fanjo... which always stops it. I have invested in some more FRERs.

Hello everyone, may I join you please?

Due to start one and only IVF NHS cycle next month. However we've been told by both NHS and a private consultant that our best chance would be with DE.

I'm 38 (just turned) amh is really low at 1.7. DP has low motility of 16%

It's such a confusing time and I feel like I've got nobody to really talk to about it. Everyone including DP is telling me to keep positive about own eggs, but it's so difficult. I just know deep down that I won't be able to conceive with my own eggs. Just in the same way I just knew I had a fertility issue before I even started ttc.

Getting married in June which is a distraction, but I can feel the depression still lurking underneath my veneer of optimism. It's so very hard. :(

StorkAhoy · 29/12/2016 17:35

isthis hi and welcomes me! Fear not, you are not alone, we are all here with you.

When you say it's your one and only IVF next month, what do you mean? It's and nhs one and you only get a one free go? Will you not be paying for IVF if this one doesn't work? Tell us all!

Re donor eggs, ok, that's clearly a blow. Why is DP and everyone urging you to continue with own eggs when all medical advice suggests otherwise? What am I missing, or what have I misread?

How do you feel about using a donor?

Are you doing the usual and not so usual prep? Supplements, diet, exercise, positive attitude, mindfulness, acupuncture, reiki, reflexology etc etc in preparation for your IVF cycle?
