stork I am sorry for your bfn. I hope your next cycle is the one for you.

late somehow I totally missed that you are in your tww. How did your iui go this time? My fingers are crossed for you.

pez much better to get your thyroid sorted now. I think that once you start the meds and get on the right dose you can get your thyroid acting properly pretty quickly.

Had to rush jack back to the emerg clinic. Not doing well. Getting ready for this year to be over.

Latenightreader · 06/12/2016 13:43

For the first time this iui was really straightforward. The Dr used the ultrasound first, knew the angle from last time, and it was over less than half an hour after I'd gone in - my appointment was even on time for the first time! Just waiting now, and trying not to think about it too much (which is why I've been quiet on here). Couldn't resist popping in to see how everyone else was doing though.

pickle162 · 06/12/2016 20:12

Sorry to hear jacks gone downhill karen thinking of you xx

Eek late good luck lovely

Sorry I'm so behind on all the posts, sorry if I've missed any big moments for anyone.

HOPEFULLY getting results back tomorrow!!!! Fingers crossed

kwick · 07/12/2016 08:00

stork sorry about horrific AF Flowers i had a "normal" period after my last transfer and it came soon after stopping progesterone. Actually this AF after an IUI has been a bit strange - I usually have TMI alert torrential flow says 1 & 2, this time it was almost non-existent day 1 and then torrential but with less pain than usual on day 2. So at FC we decided to call day 1, day 2!!!!

pez tyroxine is a right pain as it has to be taken on an empty stomach... so I take at 5am each day...

late how are you doing honey? Best of luck!

karen sorry to hear about Jack. Flowers

pickle exciting!!!

So I start injections tonight... hope I can remember what to do & have the right needles!!!

Have a jam packed day again at work - oh well it least it keeps my mind off things!

So level is at 9, normal level for my age is 6.8-47.8! So on the low level, I don't know whether this is still cause of the pill or whether that's what it is. They've said I can't do egg share ivf as probably wouldn't produce enough eggs to share. That was my back up plan for if things didn't work so yeh we'll see 🙁think I have a scan at the consultant appt so that might show improvement as another month. So feeling a bit 😭

pickle162 · 07/12/2016 17:07

Do any of you remember what your amh results were?

pickle162 · 07/12/2016 17:10

Someone that's preg please tell me there's was lower???? Sad

Pez82 · 07/12/2016 17:19

Hi pickle I didn't have mine tested but I think the scan will definitely tell you more as they can see how many antral follicles are growing. It seems like a massive bracket what they give you and you're inside so don't worry too much for the moment.

You could try and have your 1st consultation sooner if you want some reassurance maybe?

Pez82 · 07/12/2016 17:30

kwick, have you seen this? I really need to eat as soon as I wake up so I think I might take the thyroxine at night instead

Char22thom · 07/12/2016 17:39

Pickle we are hoping to use care in Tunbridge wells next year too!! Hubby had a vasectomy many moons ago in previous relationship so donor is our only option really, hoping IUI is successful but can't help feeling anxious about my age and state of my reproductive system as I'm pretty sure early signs of menopause are starting 😣 fingers crossed and will be pleased to hear your story x

pickle162 · 07/12/2016 17:49

Hey char! Ooh someone else at the same clinic! Exciting!! I really like them, receptionist is a bit of a dragon but other staff are lovely and people u speak to on phone are nice. When are you looking to start? X
Thanks pez xx
I've got my consultantion 13th Jan, the earliest they had was 6th Jan and I'm at work and can't get annual leave that quick after Xmas/new year but think May start may need to be brought forward.
Going to order some pregnacare conception vitamins in preparation and also get some better ovulation tests-clearblue do some that say a def :) or nothing rather than is that a line or not etc. Might be a waste of money but want to do my best to help my shitty reproduction system

Karendvm · 07/12/2016 17:58

Pickle it's not that bad. Mine is lower, and I have to be on the lowest dose of fertility meds or I will over respond. It's just a number, don't think about it. Your actual cycle is going to give you way more info. I'm sure you will be fine. Doctors like to run all these tests, but at the end of the day you are a unique woman and those numbers are just numbers. I also know one woman with an AMh of 0.1 Who got pregnant on her own.

Pez82 · 07/12/2016 18:07

Yes I would agree with Karen, start charting and that will give you a good indication of what's happening. Just a warning on pregnacare conception, I took it for nearly a month before realising it stopped me from ovulating (due to vit B6 apparently) so if you don't know your pattern yet you might to do a few months just with vitamin D and Folic Acid. It is quite common from what I've read.

I also take maca, CoQ10, royal jelly, cod liver oil and eat lots of colourful vegs, salmon and varied nuts for the rest of the vitamins.

pickle162 · 07/12/2016 18:19

Thanks guys, been trying to read positive things about low amh and iui! I've been charting for last 2months but yeh want as much info as possible! Least Xmas /new year will make the month go quicker until appointment
Wow! Thanks for that pez I will check that out on the packet and If not I'll just get folic acid.
Thanks guys don't know what I'd do without u all xxxx

Char22thom · 07/12/2016 19:06

I'm hoping to phone after Xmas so will see when I can get an appointment from then really, the money is tight for us but don't want to keep leaving it too much longer. Are you tracking ovulation now? Should I start doing that? I take multi vits now so will check for B6 too!! x

INeedNewShoes · 07/12/2016 19:26

Pickle - don't panic! All your result means is that its a good thing that you're doing this now and that you haven't left it another few years to get started.

Your result is within the normal range and I don't think you should be too alarmed about it being low.

Karendvm · 07/12/2016 19:36

Hi char. It's a good idea to start tracking. I like the sticks I get from Amazon but Im in Canada. Maybe the girls could recommend a good brand. It just helps to get used to the colour change and what likely represents a surge for you. Of course if your dr does a trigger injection it doesn't really matter about your natural Lh surge.

Waiting for my hcg to drop and get a normal period. Bringing jack home to spend some time with him and then let him go to sleep.

pickle162 · 07/12/2016 19:39

char 1st available was 6th Jan and do appointments Monday to Friday, think only reason fully booked till Jan is presume they do less over Xmas and new year.
I've been on the mini pill for about 8yrs so no AF at all and was on microgynon before that and rarely had a break so had no clue about cycle and ovulation etc so didn't want to leave it until my first cycle to log it.
I use the Ovia app which helps logs fertile days and signs of ovulation etc x

Thanks shoes x
Need to look at budgets etc etc and have a think BLA bla bla...my brain hurts

kwick · 07/12/2016 21:04

Oh pickle Sad but at least you have ball rolling. I am sure my results were worse than yours and I did get a BFP.
pez is right - scan will give more information.

karen sending lots of hugs to you and jack xx

kwick · 07/12/2016 21:19

OMG pez thank you so much for sharing that article!!!! I am defo switching to bedtime taking!!!! lets not mention that for over a year I have been taking completely wrong

pickle what karen & pez & shoes said and also read "it starts with the egg" if you have not done so already!

Hi char I too think you should get opking - "one step" are cheap and on Amazon or ebay, even if your LH is being monitored by blood tests doing opks will help you learn about your cycles. Also never too soon to take the right supplements.

karen must be so hard. Mahoosive hugs for both you and Jack Flowers

Just did first Merional injection this cycle... so easy compared to Prontogest or Clexane injections!!!
