I've just reached cycle 10 and I'm despairing. I've tried to stay focused and positive all this time but it's all gotten a bit much. Each month I've tried something new but nothing seems to be working. (This month is acupuncture month, last month was fertilitea month)!

I guess I just needed to vent BlushI don't want to sound like a total debbie downer but today's been tough!

Hie all
Sorry thewitch visited cola Flowers.what a bummer! the only upside this season is that you get to enjoy the holidays without limitations WineWine.

Hope the witch has stayed away for you chlo ,got everything crossed for you. I too am waiting for af due on xmas eve so either way, an exciting Christmas ahead.

Hope all are well and have all the Christmas shopping done.

I'm hoping to start dieting and exercise in the new year. It might be satisfying after this lengthy ttc business. I'm envying you all right now.

Colabottles64 · 22/12/2016 07:42

mimi good luck for the Christmas bfp, come on Santa!! Xxx

chlo hope you're hanging on in there xxx

Its Christmas mimi, indulgence is practically the law. My diet is morphing into festive mode - prosecco, ice wine, port all planned for Christmas Day and champagne truffles of course! Last day of work today until the new year. Feeling quite giddy on the train. Shopping almost done (grandad left) and wrapping done (ugh) but best of all out tonight with my very best friend who's home for Christmas Xmas SmileWineWine

Hubs has the SA properly confirmed for 2nd week Jan too so that will be another piece of the puzzle. Think we are ready to close this year out - next fw for us is first week of Jan. Onwards!!

Good luck to all still waiting. Waiting sucks, fingers crossed for good news really soon xxx

Mimilicious013 · 22/12/2016 19:42

Thanks cola
You seem like you have the Christmas all planned and out and it's looking pretty exciting. Loving the diet there and would be your best friend any day Wink.

Our family is camping over my sister's house from the 25th to the 27th. We are 5 surviving siblings, our spouses, mom and our 16 kids. it's going to be a full house but really looking forward to catching up on gossip with my sisters.

Glad you managed to book oh appointment. Now time to let your hair done, rest and enjoy.

Happy holidays allCake 🎂 🎉 🎊 🎈 🎊
Baby dust all round.

Mimilicious013 · 28/12/2016 14:27

Thanks cola.hope you enjoyed your Christmas hun and everyone else too. Christmas was fun with the family and ended with af showing Xmas Sad.Am really gutted.l never thought I'd be trying for 20 cycles.
Here is hoping the new year brings better luck to all of us.

blackcherries · 29/12/2016 15:09

Cycle 11 is on its way Xmas Sad
Managed to forget about TTC for a few weeks back there. Best of luck to everyone here in the new year!
Good luck with the SA cola. Obviously wish we'd done ours first thing, but then hindsight is a wonderful thing...

Colabottles64 · 29/12/2016 15:38

It's so hard to accept that this is taking so long and feeling like we have little control isn't it! I have an awful awful flu since yesterday and I have to say it's been playing on my mind about how long this is taking especially since seeing friends with their new babies over Christmas. I just keep having to tell myself to focus on what we can do and on trying to enjoy our sex life Instead of feeling like robots. Hopefully it happens soon. I'm really interested to see outcome of the SA and the extra bloods this month. I feel like those and throwing myself into finding good ways to eat well, exercise and stay relaxed are going to work out and give us that baby soon. I'm not a naturally patient person though Smile

Colabottles64 · 29/12/2016 15:40

Black cherries and mimi I'm so sorry to hear AF came Sad What's your thoughts on it all going into the new year? Xxx

MrsY87 · 29/12/2016 16:49

Sorry to hear AF has shown mimi and cherries, I think its on its way for me too, 9dpo and have had some spotting which is quite normal for me and means that AF will arrive in a day or two meaning my LP is consistently only about 10/11 days. Xmas Sad at my PIL with my pregnant SIL who all she does is moan about being pregnant....not fun!

What extra bloods are you having this month cola? Good luck with the SA too!

Colabottles64 · 29/12/2016 23:13

Oh lord that is hard to stick! Although I may have at times been a moany pregnant lady first time round, now I realise how insensitive it is. But at same time pregnancy hormones do make one very emotional lol

Mrs, just a redo of my "day 21" bloods but timed to be 7 days after I actually ov'ed

Xxx

Londonjam · 29/12/2016 23:33

Hi ladies can I join?

I've been reading through and nodding at so many of your thoughts and feelings. Long term TTC is draining, it helps me so much to talk to people who know how it feels.

I'm just 33 and trying for our first. We started at the end of last year and haven't had a single BFP. Ever. We are now approaching the end of cycle 13 and I don't think for a minute it'll be anything other than AF ☹️

We've started tests, my bloods and uterus scan all fine. DH has high count and good swimmers but morphology a bit low. We've been told multiple times that this is not an issue and not stopping us conceiving. Doesn't stop my obsessive googling though ..We've now been referred to the fertility hospital so will hopefully get our first appointment in January

Anyway! Here's hoping this year brings better luck - for all of us. 🤞🏼

Colabottles64 · 30/12/2016 10:14

Welcome Londonjam. The waiting is just shite, no other word for it! Hope you get the appointment soon. It's almost frustrating to be told it's all fine right cos then you're like "so why aren't I pregnant!!" These are going to be super babies when we finally have them Smile

Best of luck xx

Londonjam · 30/12/2016 10:36

Thanks cola you're right we are going to be the most grateful pregnant women! It is kind of mystifying to be told nothing is preventing it - I don't really believe them?! But I'm glad the tests have come back fine. I've been a mental woman over the morphology so god knows what I would have been like if something more serious came upConfused. Are many people on here going through fertility tests?

Colabottles64 · 30/12/2016 11:02

A lot of us are at that point now. We've just started and a few have had the bloods and SA already. That's what we are starting with. Xxx

Mimilicious013 · 31/12/2016 18:22

Welcome jam hope your ttc journey is coming to an end soon hun.

Thanks mrsy cola this road is not easy lol . sorry for af too cherries.upwards and onwards.

Wishing you all ladies a happy new year Flowers.here is to bfps all round in 2017Wine

SoozC · 01/01/2017 20:03

Welcome, jam.

Sorry to hear af got you, mimi and that it's been so many cycles for you. SadWine

cola, hope your repeat bloods go okay.

We are just missing first of 4 fw (so I can fit into newly-purchased wedding dress in August if the elusive bfp had happened to turn up between now and May); DP is complaining about the condoms already, poor thing. I want a baby so much but part of me is relieved to be having a break from ttc and having something else to think about. These next few months will allow me to lose some weight, get DP a SA and just relax a bit so trying to focus on all of that. Back to it with a vengeance at the beginning of May! I'll still pop in though; I have hope we'll see some bfps here soon!

sk1pper · 01/01/2017 22:21

Im going to rejoin the thread too, I dropped off a little while back but like Jam I'm struggling to find people going through the same processes. I refuse to move myself to the infertility board. It's been 16 months trying for me now, my first appointment with the gynaecologist specialist is on Tuesday - I don't really know how to feel as nothing was discovered in my preliminary tests.

Here's to what I hope is a very successful 2017 for all of us xx

Londonjam · 02/01/2017 01:09

Thanks mimi a familiar face 😊 and skipper argh 16 months, it's such a bitch. And not a single thing wrong! Come on now wombles.

Thanks Sooz hope you enjoy your TTC break. Wedding planning is such a lovely distraction!

I'm 10 DPO today so hit the fun part where I lose hope and all sense of perspective. I've got everything I usually have at this point - very sore boobs, anxious and emotional, windy etc etc. So sick of even noticing these things! My body does the same thing, every . single . month 😔😩

Sorry to bring my crazy so soon to this thread! I promise I'm not like this all cycle. It kicks in at about 8 DPO and goes when AF comes, so not long to go!

sk1pper · 02/01/2017 10:55

Sorry I can't remember, are you waiting for your referral now Jem?

Londonjam · 02/01/2017 12:55

Yes skipper - the GP referred us a few weeks back and said hopefully we will hear from them in January. You didn't have too much of a wait I think I recall?

sk1pper · 02/01/2017 14:50

Ah yeah I remember now, yeah only took us two months from referral to appointment. I got referred on 2nd Dec and my appointment is tomorrow. Hopefully yours will be similar xx

I've started doing 30 mins of pelvic region yoga a day using a video on YouTube. I feel really really good afterwards, it's said to clear adhesions in the reproductive organs. I'm just assuming the issue is around my Fallopian tubes as it's difficult for them to check on an ultra sound. Ovaries were cyst free and if hormones were balanced and womb lining was good, what else can it be?

sk1pper · 02/01/2017 14:50

No wait, that's not two months...just a month! I can Maths.

Londonjam · 02/01/2017 16:30

A month is really quick! Hope it's similar for us. Hope it goes well , please report back!

The yoga vids sound good, would you mind linking or letting me know what to search for? I love yoga but am crap at doing it at home. Might make it a new year resolution ...

sk1pper · 02/01/2017 18:29

This half hour one may be perfect for you then, I doubt I'd be dedicated enough to do more than 30 mins each day:

It's probably not the best vid available but I noticed that she does a lot of the poses my yoga teacher mentioned would be good for fertility. And it's for beginners!

Londonjam · 02/01/2017 18:52

Thank you! Will defo not manage it every day but a few times a week would be great.
