Thought that I would start a March thread as from tomorrow I will no longer be eligible for the February thread. Of course I will be lurking and keeping fingers crossed for those still in with a shout... but it's time to move on.

Hi all, cd23 here, anyone know (or know a website) about what happens in the luteal phase? My book just say the egg is released then either fertilzed or not then you're pg or not. (helpful...or not!) Just wondered as I know more about the first phase (where hormones change etc than the 'action' bit. What day past ov does egg get fertilized/implanted etc? Want to 'positivly visualise' it during yoga relaxation (as if it's going to help, but I figure it's better than being negative!)

I would be intereseted in a "what happens" wesite too. I thought I was quite knowledgeable but I'm finding out more each day.

Don't fancy going down the ov testing and temp taking route, sounds too clinical, (switch to me in 6 months pulling out my hair and eating my words)

Okay, I know I put myself in April but I am miserable! I said it wasn't an implantation bleed but then it stopped again. But I came on with a vengeance this morning (had to leave a lesson to take ibuprofen). I had really got my hopes up. I feel crap.

A question: is today therefore CD1? (first day of real flow)

I'm feeling really fed up with it all, for some reason I feel so down about it all today. I fell that if it doesn't happen this month I should just give up.

Thanks for the link Nomore - unfortunately if I put my ovulation date in it has hormones to stop period happening 2 days after I expect my period. I think that could be a major problem!! But I'm off to yoga tomorrow after a bit of a break so I'll try some early implantation visualisation - the alternative is just to fall asleep during the relaxation time. The yoga teacher doesn't complain if you snore, but it has been known to induce giggles in other members of the class.

Can you not use date of last period and amend cycle length (or are your cycles longer than the options available?) That's what I did instead of using ov date as my LP is short.

Every evidence to suggest AF is going to appear in next 24 hours I think. V sore boobs which since M/C has heralded the arrival of AF.

Sorry to hear of others AFs and associated sadness and hopelessness. Its the pits it really is.

Another friend (second in about 3 days) told me she was expecting today. Am pleased for her as we have been moaning together about our respective inabilities to conceive but makes me feel v. alone and inadequate now. .

Think I might go to the doctors as am not convinced all is right since m/c. Will probably be told to go away and go back in 6 months but I guess its worth a try.

AF due tommarrow and ive just started getting nipple pain never had this before! Do you think i should test tommarrow? Wish dp was here so he could nip out and get me a test.
