MAD HATTERS AND MARCH HARES????? IN HERE!

1000 replies

Ready · 02/02/2007 15:16

Or should that read Mad TTCers and March Hopefuls??

Thought that I would start a March thread as from tomorrow I will no longer be eligible for the February thread. Of course I will be lurking and keeping fingers crossed for those still in with a shout... but it's time to move on.

Who's with me???

hello everyone, been busy catching up on everyone's news.

Coincidentally with plummymummy, ds fell the length of our stairs yesterday . It was such bizarre timing as i'd only recently posted on the thread about stairgates, worrying about our very steep stairs. He opened the stairgate while i was literally about 4 feet away busy with something in the bathroom, and the next thing we hear is a series of rapid bangs and then the blood chilling screaming . He had 2 nasty grazes on his forehead and sore shoulders from taking the impact but apart from that he was fairly okay. Horrible horrible horrible though. I spent the rest of the day just cuddling him and fetching him little treats and drinks.

I'm on CD17 today so am now on the downward hurtle. It's my birthday today too (34) and i've had a nice, if pretty sedate, day. Got a bottle of bubbly (aka fizzy piss - a la Osbornes) for later.

BellaBear · 25/02/2007 18:08

Happy birthday Peanutbutter! And so sorry to hear about your son, poor little thing.

nomoremagnolia · 25/02/2007 18:56

Hello all, happy birthday peanut butter. Having a day at home after plans to go away were cancelled, but strangely I have been enjoying it and have managed to catch up with four weeks of casualty whilst ironing for britain! I have just cleared up two lots of cat sick too - remind me again why I want a baby?

Ready · 25/02/2007 19:15

Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear Peanut, happy birthday to you!!! Sorry to hear about DS - bless his little heart!

Bellabear... where are these established Greenies??? I hope it wasn't me calling you Greenie that prompted the change... feel guilty now

Nomoremagnolia... sorry that your trip was cancelled, but well done on the ironing. I love watching tv whilst ironing. It's the only thing that makes ironing bareable.

Hello March :0) xxx

Sorry to miss birthdays, kiddie scares and downstairs department tours (Greenblock)! Hoping everything worked out for you all I am finding the 2ww wait tough but am less emotional after 7 months than I was when we started ttc.

Went to Cardiff today to watch footie and was surrounded by testosterone to distract me

LondonLottie sorry things didn't work out last month but glad you're about to catch up and chat. My dh before we married worked abroad for nearly 3 years and it is tough to schedule time to chat let alone nookie so I really understand the challenges.

Hi Ready how's it going? Here's hoping we all get lucky soon!

peanutbutter · 26/02/2007 08:23

thanks for birthday wishes and songs

Hope everyone has a good day

goingfor3 · 26/02/2007 10:03

Good morning all!

I saw a really gorgeous new born baby today and he made me feel even more broody (something I didn't think was possible). DP and I still haven't made any effort yet this month but after seeing the baby I told him that we really needed too, yesterday I told him we could give up for this month as we have both been unwell - I really am too fickle!

I'm being really poncy as I'm waiting to see if the postman will bring my copy of Junior before I get in the bath, hopefully he will come soon.

plummymummy · 26/02/2007 10:45

Hello everyone. My backside is multi-coloured but getting better! Sorry to hear about your ds Peanutbutter and hope he is feeling better. It's horrible when little ones fall down the stairs - it happened to ds when we moved and I can still picture it vividly Hope you had a nice bday and haven't got a hangover after the bubbly! I'm CD22. Think i'll update the stats. GOD i'm so inpatient!

pinkslippers · 26/02/2007 11:11

lol i can't remember my cycle day, how awful is that. hold on gonna look up on the thread. i'm cycle day 21 am due around the 5/6th. I keep having crampy feelings but not sure what that is as af is not due for a week or so yet. I'm trying not to symptom spot too much and ahven't given it all my heart his month. so we'll see.

good luck all.

plummymummy · 26/02/2007 11:14

I keep symptom spotting too. Last month I convinced myself I was and of course got a bfn. I hate this last week of the cycle.

pinkslippers · 26/02/2007 11:15

I know i also convinced myself too and brought lodes of pg tests all bfn of course. so dissapointed too. Why do we do this to ourselves?? lol. good luck plummy. surely some of this thread should get BFP this month?? i hope so.

scorpio1 · 26/02/2007 11:22

and then you are the day after me plummy

your all gonna make me wait, aren't you?

pinkslippers · 26/02/2007 11:26

ooooo how exciting scorpio!! not long

do you have any feelings?? do you think you are?? or are you just waiting??
I WANNA KNOW NOW!!! lol. Good luck scorpio and ambi.

scorpio1 · 26/02/2007 11:30

i think that i could persuade myself either way...symptoms i get when pg are the same as my pre-menstrual ones.i have never had morning sickness (touch wood) so that doesn't help, and last time my boobs didn't really do anything different.i'm one of those people that need a test to say + before i think i might be!

I am very rubbish at waiting until my period is late though

plummymummy · 26/02/2007 11:30

Yes and pinkslippers the day after me. I'll make you wait if you make me wait - is that a deal? I think I have to wait this month. I really felt miserable when I tested early last month.

plummymummy · 26/02/2007 11:32

Hasn't this thread been busy? Surely we must have some bfps here. C'mon girls...what do we want? A bfp. When do we want it? Now!

scorpio1 · 26/02/2007 11:33

that is why i want to wait (or try to) because i get upset when it says negative, and even more upset when my period comes.

Although the last times i have been pregnant i haven't had a + hpt until at least 6 weeks pg,so there is really no point in me doing it earlier!
