MAD HATTERS AND MARCH HARES????? IN HERE!

1000 replies

Ready · 02/02/2007 15:16

Or should that read Mad TTCers and March Hopefuls??

Thought that I would start a March thread as from tomorrow I will no longer be eligible for the February thread. Of course I will be lurking and keeping fingers crossed for those still in with a shout... but it's time to move on.

Who's with me???

pinkslippers · 24/02/2007 22:16

pinkslippers · 24/02/2007 22:20

Greenblock · 24/02/2007 22:21

well, not long but miscarried last month so should reeeeeeeally be trying but it is very hard not to.

(please don't do a sympathy post now, totally don't need it )

Greenblock · 24/02/2007 22:22

shouldn't be trying

pinkslippers · 24/02/2007 22:22

It's ok i won't i had one too.

ok i'll ask no more (zipps up mouth)

fruitful · 25/02/2007 09:15

Well greenblock, that's what mine does a day or two after I've ov'd. Then it gets less and goes sticky.

fruitful · 25/02/2007 09:17

Why aren't you allowed to try?

Isn't it like when you come off the pill, they want you to have a period first to make it easier to date the pg? And thats actually rubbish cos it only makes it easier to date the pg if your periods are absolutely regular. And they can date it better on the 12-week scan anyway.

Or is there some other reason after a mc?

plummymummy · 25/02/2007 11:12

For the bloodcount to get back to normal?

lissielou · 25/02/2007 11:16

i was told after all of mine its more for dating

plummymummy · 25/02/2007 11:27

Hmm what day am I on..........CD21. Oh (groans)this month is going on forever! I fell down the stairs yesterday and have a huge bruise on my arse. Ds found it hilarious til daddy told him it's not funny mummy's hurt. Can't blame him, it was funny! Hope there wasn't a little bean there cos it would've got a huge shock (everything had a thorough shaking). Went out with dh last night and found it hard to get up from the seat on the train, then walking funny. Dh was joking that people would assume I'd have had a good seeing to. That, quite frankly, is the last thing on my mind

scorpio1 · 25/02/2007 11:34

good story, plummy!!Were you walking like John Wayne??!!

my kids love it when i hurt myself

anyway,i have survived my weekend alone,dp will be back home at around 5.im pleased, ive missed him more this time than normal.(it has been much quieter and the house is cleaner though...)

What's everyone else doing today?i think we are just gonna stay in,not much to do.my friend and her iclke baby came round last night,so i had some company.

im CD22 today,6 or 7 days left until my period is due (NOOOOOOOO). im so impatient, you know.I keep over analysing everything, but i know im setting myself up for a fall if i do that.i hope this week goes really super fast for everyone

plummymummy · 25/02/2007 11:53

Yes just like john wayne

Greenblock · 25/02/2007 12:19

a round of drinks for fruitful!

The nurse said it is best to have a period because "some ladies come back without and waiting and it's fine but some ladies have another and you just don't know".

But I feel completely normal, my body is very obviously now going through a normal cycle, so we thought it wouldn't be the end of the world if we have a little 'accident'. Although, if I do mc again, maybe we would take the advice.

The other thing is that I had really set my heart on conceiving in jan as it would have been just ideal for maternity leave (as a teacher) and then it happened and then it was over. So now I feel no pressure at all about when it happens, because I have to be there in September anyway (which is a crap time of year admin wise in teaching). So now I am much more chilled.

Hope your bum feeling a little less sore today plummy!

I'm feeling much better now. I'm on cd 11 I think. The problem is that dp now has it quite badly and we really need to start trying to be in with a chance.

Hello, just thought I'd let you know - I've changed my name from Greenblock as there are a lot of greenies out there (all more established than newbie me!) so from now on I'm BellaBear.

fruitful · 25/02/2007 18:02
