MAD HATTERS AND MARCH HARES????? IN HERE!

1000 replies

Ready · 02/02/2007 15:16

Or should that read Mad TTCers and March Hopefuls??

Thought that I would start a March thread as from tomorrow I will no longer be eligible for the February thread. Of course I will be lurking and keeping fingers crossed for those still in with a shout... but it's time to move on.

Who's with me???

Hi ladies, sorry I haven't been around but my TTC project for this month(repainting our kitchen) took a lot longer than expected.

I have a confession to make. CD25 today, on a 26 day cycle and period due on Wednesday. I did an early test this morning which of course was BFN. This is the first time ever I have been tempted to test early but can I please explain myself before I attract the wrath of the Clear Blue Fairy? I have been having symptoms all weekend. Boobs ache like anything, feeling sick and tired. This is not what I normally expereince with my period but is more what I went through in my early pregnancy last year.

I have already slapped my wrist several times and if period doesn't arrive on Wednesday I will not test again until Friday.

Do I deserve forgiveness???

plummymummy · 26/02/2007 11:43

I would join you but I don't want to inflict my thighs on the masses (though the multi-coloured one is interesting)!

plummymummy · 26/02/2007 11:46

Yes you are forgiven gillian I would find it hard not to test again on wednesday. I have to wait til sunday and it's driving me crazy!

scorpio1 · 26/02/2007 11:51

Gillian,i forgive you!and just remember the stats...you could be pg,but not have enough hcg in your urine yet...hang on in there!

we are off to get pasties now (i live in Cornwall)

gillian1973 · 26/02/2007 11:52

Thanks Plummymummy, but I am trying to learn my lesson. I will wait until Friday because if I am pregnant it will be four weeks then. I have a short cycle and I think I ovulate late in my cycle so if this is anything at all it is in its first thoes of being produced. Last time I didn't get a BFP until 4 days after my period was due.

I have just found out that my best friend had her BFP at the weekend. I haven't told her I have tested early because of what I suspect but now I really want a baby badly. She is coming to my graduation in July and after my miscarriage we joked we would have matching bumps.

gillian1973 · 26/02/2007 11:53

thanks Scorpio, I LUURRVEE pasties!

pinkslippers · 26/02/2007 11:54

I'll wait if you wait. So it's a deal?

I tested too early when i had my m/c because if I hadn't of i would never had known and wish i had waited so i didn't feel that hurt.

When pg with the one that i lost my boobs were so sore but ididn't have that with my children.

I'm gonna wait. but i also want to know, lol.

pinkslippers · 26/02/2007 11:55

NOt gonna get my hotpants out because i'll have to change my name to 'thunder thighs'. lol.

Someone this month has surely got to get a BFP.

plummymummy · 26/02/2007 11:58

Scorpio are you eating more now that you've given up smoking? Not too many pasties I hope

jhyesmum · 26/02/2007 11:59

plummymummy · 26/02/2007 11:59

pinkslippers · 26/02/2007 12:01

Think it will be a tense week wait. should hold bets on who's gonna get a bfp. lol

plummymummy · 26/02/2007 12:04

Afternoon all. Was wondering if we should do a roll call - lots of us on here now

To make life easier and to stop the roll call going out of date so quickly, perhaps we could all just add to the previous roll call posted... and the next day just start a fresh?? Does that make sense??
Apologies if I am being bossy - Am I the only one that thinks this would work better It's how we used to do it??

If you're with me, I'll start...
