MAD HATTERS AND MARCH HARES????? IN HERE!

1000 replies

Ready · 02/02/2007 15:16

Or should that read Mad TTCers and March Hopefuls??

Thought that I would start a March thread as from tomorrow I will no longer be eligible for the February thread. Of course I will be lurking and keeping fingers crossed for those still in with a shout... but it's time to move on.

Who's with me???

pinkslippers · 21/02/2007 18:01

i feel abit sneeky because i haven't told family that i've been ttc. My sister is pregnant. But they weren't too happy when i fell pregnant before before i lost it. My dad said that if i got pregnant again he'd be cross, but it's ok for my sister, grrr.

Greenblock · 21/02/2007 18:02

What?! Why?!

pinkslippers · 21/02/2007 18:04

because when i fell pregnant i wasn't with dp taht long, but even so. it's my choice i am 27 after all. you can be with someone 15 years have a baby and split up. it's a long story
how are you anyways?

scorpio1 · 21/02/2007 18:14

don't listen to what other people say-your body, your baby, your choice honey

i was 16 and pg with ds1
19 and pg with ds2

both wanted, beautiful, babies who i would walk the earth barefoot for.

i'm now 22 and ttc dc3.

don't listen to others as long as you are ready

beansprout · 21/02/2007 18:22

Scorpio - do you want to enter into some sort of not testing too early pact?

Am really hacked off this evening. Dsd (19) has been treating dh like utter, utter shoite all day, and it's really upsetting him and me to boot. Bah.

Sorry, a bit off topic there. Will scroll down now and find those pics of EWCM that I didn't dare open at work today!!

alittlebitshy · 21/02/2007 18:22

oops -
realised i was still nominally on feb, and af came last week (while i was away, hate being on when i'm away from home.)
bizzarely feeling loads more relaxed about ttc. I am thinking it'll happen when it happens, and for our family a big age gap would not be a disaster(dd is 4 in may).
i'll see if positive thoughts continue through month. lol.

pinkslippers · 21/02/2007 18:44

Thanks girlies.

Scorpio how did you feel being 16 with a baby? i was 19 when i had my first. 20 with the second.

I know i shouldn't listen to what others say really. i'm the baby of the family so get treated that way abit, lol.

My dp is step dad to my two children. How is it giong with you scorpio??

beansprout · 21/02/2007 18:45

Lovely Would have been more impressed if the, ahem, owner, had shown her face

scorpio1 · 21/02/2007 18:49

i was a born mother i think.i adored being pg and having him, never found it hard.lucky,i guess!i think thats why i had another still in my teens, because i adored it.best thing i ever did. my dp is father to my 2nd child, but not my first, but you wouldnt know-hes fab with him,and he treats all 3 children the same (he has a son with another woman too,so 3 boys in total).we are a mixed lot here!!

peanutbutter · 21/02/2007 18:49

hello all. dear god i'm sick of bloody shagging. i'm getting sore too. I'm on CD13 so really can't wriggle my way out of it atm .

We took away ds' dummies today [shock . He's had dodies since being just a few weeks old, but i've been worrying more and more about the day when we'll have to take them off him. But what clinched it was the thought of him sobbing and actually asking for his "dodi" (at the moment he sobs and says "meeeeee! meeeee!" like a sqeaking otter or something). so dh and I talked it through last night and agreed, and this morning i rounded them all up and put them in a zip bag and away in an upstairs drawer. He's asked for it quite a few times today and sobbed here and there but i'm hoping that it'll be just a few days and he'll have forgotten about it.....please god!

It's my birthday on Sunday (34) so I think we're going to have a very very rare night out this w/e - i need to see if i can squeeze into a pair of nice black pants i bought at christmas that were a bit too tight on my bottom!

hi peanutbutter yes it only takes a few days.though with my dss we bribed him with an easter egg

carry on the shagging!horrible when it hurts though

pinkslippers · 21/02/2007 18:55

That's great scorpio. my dp treats them as if they were his own except my ex is under the imperssion that he's took his son off him. that's anohther long story too.lol

I jsut wanna have a baby and feel soooo impatient but feel bad for doing so because i hadn't been trying that long so dono't mean to offend anyone by saying that.

scorpio1 · 21/02/2007 18:57

its ok pinkslippers, you are allowed to want one too!im desperate as well but also appreciate how hard it can be for others

my ex-p sounds like yours!

plummymummy · 21/02/2007 21:35

Don't apologise, it's lovely to hear you expressing how much you love motherhood I think the rollcall is a bit out of date. I'm going to peruse the thread and make a few adjustments, so everyone - feel free to amend your stats.
