beansprout-im on cd18 and driving myself mad already,and to make matters worse,dp is away all weekend so havent got anyone to distract me.i am going to go nuts!

i've already worked out i can test a week saturday (03 march,day af due)......or before??

Just updating my dates too. I've got a couple more days before I start ov. tests. DH has promised not too drink much this weekend as I need him in peak fitness from Sunday. Is it wrong that he gets turned on by me handing him a smoothie to take to work? Smoothies and brazil nuts - signs he is on a dead cert when he gets home .

I know that AF is due in Feb and not March but my cycle hasn't settled down yet so I consider myself on the cusp! Means I can hang around here for the rest of the month aswell because I am pretty sure I am not pg!

Scorpio, thanks for asking, but I am downtrodden again today, that's 2 days on the bounce, completely unlike me. And DH has asked me about 10 times over the last few days what's wrong, so it must be written all over my face. I am never this down for this long.

I like Scorpio's idea of distracion technique. Go out and do something you could't if you were pg!

I'm sure some people on this list are completely out of date now .. last time I did it I updated everyone 3 days (or whatever it was) but now I've lost track of who has changed and who hasn't. What's the best strategy now?

Also, give that my CD was completely made up I have changed it to reflect the fact that I think I ovulated on Monday. And we all know that all women ovulate on CD14 and have a 14 day luteal phase .

Everyone is entitled to a down day ready..not just about ttc but just everyday things.

I had so many questions last night and now i've forgotten them, lol.

oh yeah...If you've had a miscarriage what are the odds of it happening again?? i might have said this before but it's playing on my mind. I am just soooo scared that if i get pg again, i will loose it again. I suppose the fear is never being able to have anymore babies i suppose i would like another 2,, which would mean i would have four. I would love to make my dp happy. and have mini dp's running around the place.

I've had a bubbly feeling in my womby area what's taht about? and achy back but i'm not due on for about the 8/9 march i think. lol. I'm not very good about taking note. lol.

the doctor said to me 4% chance of recurrent miscarriage. so quite low, compared to 25-35% chance of miscarriage in any pregnancy.

Really?? with my m/c someone said to me, and i'm not sure if this is correct or where they've got it from but it might be the bodies way of testing before it happens. I haven't been pregnant since 7 years ago, also with a different partner. I might be complete rubbish though.

That is low though, when did you m/c how far gone were you? and sorry too.

Pinkslippers - I think the main cause of 'random' miscarriage is a dodgy egg or a dodgy sperm. i.e. a fertilized egg that is genetically wrong and isn't going to be able to develop into a baby. And all of us have a certain percentage of not-quite-right eggs/sperm so sometimes it happens.

And if you've got 2 kids already it probably wasn't a miscarriage caused by all the other reasons (hormone imbalances, immune disorders, dodgy-shaped uterus ...).

I had a m/c at 6 weeks too. It's so upsetting cause i never even dreamed it would happen. In the long run i'm glad it happened then not when it was more developed. Any my heart reaches out too all the mums that have lost later too.

Ready (((hugs))) to you. Go and watch a film or better still get a DVD and watch it at home and have a nice meal (I won't suggest wine as i know you don't drink).

I can recommend my feel good movie - Everyone Says I Love You by Woody Allen. It is silly and you will laugh. It will not remind you of babies and the only thing that will make you jealous is the amazing New York apartment.
