Ttc number 2!

Hello! Anyone thinking of ttc number 2? I have a 6 month old baby and don't want a big age gap between babies. AF has been a bit erratic over the past few months but DH and I have decided to make next month the first month of ttc. Anyone else sort of in the same boat?

Ahhhh I didn't realise the type of test. Yeah that's a fair wide gap so definitely a line in the right place. But definitely weird about the FRER. I've also heard blue dye tests are a bit less reliable BUT I'm cautious optimistic for you

Hi guys. I have been lurking on this thread for a while - more living vicariously through you right now - I have an 11yo DD and I am getting married in a couple of months, thinking about #2 but for me will be like starting over! Would be DP first baby. We haven't decided if/when we will bite the bullet but I'm thinking next summer - but possibly as early as this Christmas depending how broody I feel! Recently we were at a gathering with lots of babies and one of them was so cute he made my boobs hurt! LOL

It would be a pile of shit if it's not a proper BFP though. What's the point in tests that are unreliable though?!!! I'll keep everything crossed you see something on the FRER tomorrow!

Welcome Squirrel, if you're looking at joining MN groups now I'd say you'll be starting to TTC sooner rather than later

I don't know if you can get a false positive? It picks up hcg (right combo of letters?) which is the pregnancy hormone so if its present then you are pregnant! Test again tomorrow I suppose to be sure! Ooh our first BFP! Fingers crossed for you!

I thought false positives were impossible too but people on other threads seem to say it happens with blue dye tests? BUT I'm also cautiously optimistic for you tuna! Did you say you have bought another FRER to use tomorrow? Keep us posted!

I have two superdrug early tests currently stashed away in my drawer. Apparently they're very good for testing early.

Haven't told my husband about today's test. Don't want to get his hopes up if it's not real

The superdrug ones are pink dye ones - so fingers crossed they're more reliable

I've heard good things about the superdrug ones too! Is it something to do with them getting evap lines that are actually blue so it looks like a bfp?! I don't know. It definitely looks positive anyway!!!

Ooh good luck! I have heard the superdrug ones are the best as they detect the lowest amount of the pregnancy hormone (only need 10 units of the hormone instead of 50 like clear blue) so if a clearblue is positive then the superdrug one ought to be too!

I ovulated on CD 14. We DTD CD13 CD14 CD15.

You jammy cow only having sex 3 times and still getting knocked up!! And being lucky enough to OV on cd14 and get pregnant first month. If I wasn't so pleased to see a bfp I'd ban you from the group !!! Ooh I really don't know. I waved a piss stick in my DHs face at 4.30am when I found I was pregnant so I definitely don't have any experience for fun ways to do it haha! Is he about now?!
