Ttc number 2!

Sonnet18 · 05/08/2016 20:10

Hello! Anyone thinking of ttc number 2? I have a 6 month old baby and don't want a big age gap between babies. AF has been a bit erratic over the past few months but DH and I have decided to make next month the first month of ttc. Anyone else sort of in the same boat?

Oh no Mrs! Try not to panic though. Some bleeding can be really common in early pregnancy, I really hope it's just that. I understand it must be very scary for you though especially given what you've been through recently

wherethefuckisthefuckingtuna · 07/10/2016 08:08

Sorry to hear that Mrs. I'm keeping everything crossed for you and will be thinking of you

Sonnet18 · 07/10/2016 10:20

Oh no! You don't know anything yet so fingers crossed all is well. Have you phoned epu?

MrsY87 · 07/10/2016 10:42

Yes spoke to epu have a scan this afternoon just to see what is going on. Not feeling too hopeful, just feel like I'm back to where I was 6 weeks ago

Sonnet18 · 07/10/2016 12:36

Oh what a horrible few weeks you have had. How worrying. Keeping everything crossed for you and hopefully the bleeding has stopped by now

Thanks for your positive words but it is over for me yet again and being monitored for an eptopic this time due to some one sided pain and fluid on my scan.

2 mc in 6 weeks is quite a lot to cope with not sure whether to just get on ttc again to potential mc so they will start some tests or take some time out which I think I'll really struggle with as I just want to be pregnant. I never realised how hard ttc could be as we were so lucky with DD.

Fingers crossed for those of you testing again in the next week, I really hope this is your time! Also hope that the rest of you continue to have healthy pregnancies Smile

PurpleHaze1 · 08/10/2016 07:45

MrsY I'm so sorry Sad I was thinking about you last night & wondering how the scan had gone. I'm so sorry that it was bad news. I can understand your uncertainty as to what to do from here. Just do whatever you feel is right, whether that's continuing ttc or taking a break. We're here for you Flowers

Sonnet18 · 08/10/2016 08:09

Oh I am so sorry to hear this. How unfair and cruel. I have no advice(and wouldn't even begin to attempt to know how you feel right now) but what purple said; do what you feel is right. Hope you've got some lovely friends and family in RL to support you

loztredders · 10/10/2016 10:10

Can't believe I'm 11 weeks today and I've got my scan this week. I'm soooo nervous. Just hope everything is ok. Can hardly sleep at the minute for anxiety!!

wherethefuckisthefuckingtuna · 10/10/2016 10:51

Ooh good luck *Loz

Let us know how it goes.

Haven't even had appt through yet for my scan. I was 11 weeks yesterday

loztredders · 10/10/2016 11:31

How annoying tuna! Do you think you should chase it up? Hopefully you haven't got lost in the system but I had my scan letter through a couple of days after I had my booking appointment.

wherethefuckisthefuckingtuna · 10/10/2016 11:46

My midwife at my GP surgery is attached to a different hospital to where I'm having my baby (I live right on the border between two counties). So I had to get my bloods taken separately to my GP surgery. Which delayed the process I think. I chased it up on Friday and the super unhelpful receptionist just said she would leave a message for the midwives and they would 'probably' send my appointment out in the post Hmm

Sonnet18 · 12/10/2016 07:00

Good luck for the scan this week loz! Mine was in two weeks time but I'll only be 11 weeks so I phoned to rearrange so it's 3 weeks today! I didn't want to go for the scan to just be asked back for another (the only reason is work related- wouldn't have minded a sneaky little extra one!)

PurpleHaze1 · 12/10/2016 12:38

Have you had your scan yet Loz? I don't think you said which day. Hope it went/goes well. How's everyone else doing?

I got my BFP this morning. I'm in absolute shock! I tested Monday & it was definitely negative but today is definitely positive! EDD 23rd June, 2 days before DD's 3rd birthday Grin

Just keeping everything crossed it's a sticky one Smile

Sonnet18 · 12/10/2016 13:01

Oh yay!!!!!!! Purple that is amazing! Congrats!

MmmMalbec · 12/10/2016 15:22

Amazing Purple!! Congratulations Grin

wherethefuckisthefuckingtuna · 13/10/2016 13:57

Wow Purple! Congratulations!! How many weeks/data are you?

Just called hospital to chase up on my 12 week scan. Not only have they not booked me in but they've also lost all of my paperwork so now they can't even tell me when my scans going to be but it's likely to be just before I'm 14 weeks

I'm so frustrated and upset. I think I'm just going to pay for a private one this weekend as my husband goes away for work next Tuesday for over two weeks and won't be able to come to my official appointment.

Cried at the Woman on the phone. It was not my finest moment!

PurpleHaze1 · 13/10/2016 14:36

Bloomin heck tuna that's deplorable that they've lost all your info! I'm so sorry & can totally understand you being upset. I'd probably arrange a private one too in this situation. I think I'm going to book a private early scan as well.

I must only be 3+6 weeks as 13dpo so ridiculously early! I've got a digital waiting to test on Saturday. I've been temping though so am sure of my dates. Still can't quite believe it! At what point did you guys book your early scans? As I said, I want to book one but it feels too early to arrange it just now (I know it won't happen until at least 7 weeks) but even booking it seems like tempting fate! Confused

Sonnet18 · 13/10/2016 15:46

I booked mine at 8 weeks (according to nhs) but they dated me at 7 plus 4. I'm now 9 plus 1 and that scan seems like a million years ago!! So happy for you purple! It's so surreal for the first little while, isn't it?! Mine still hasn't sunk in for me yet and I've known for nearly six weeks!

loztredders · 13/10/2016 20:02

Oh wow congratulations purple! Another bfp for the thread Grin

That's awful Tuna, can't believe they have totally lost all your info Shock

I had my scan today. All was well and I got moved 4 days forward so actually due April 27th now... Not sure how since I know exactly when I ovulated but never mind!

Just got to wait for the results of the nuchal translucency test now but fingers crossed all looks good so far

PurpleHaze1 · 13/10/2016 22:50

Fab news Loz!

Sonnet did you book the scan as soon as you got your BFP though? Or did you wait until you were past a certain point? I'll book mine to be done at 8 weeks but I don't know if I should wait a week or two before I book it in case I tempt fate!

MrsY87 · 14/10/2016 08:55

Congratulations purple!

Glad to hear your scan went well *Loz

Tuna* that's awful they've lost all your info, hopefully you can get it sorted out quickly.
