Ttc number 2!

Hello! Anyone thinking of ttc number 2? I have a 6 month old baby and don't want a big age gap between babies. AF has been a bit erratic over the past few months but DH and I have decided to make next month the first month of ttc. Anyone else sort of in the same boat?

No news from me. Just plodding along. But the muscles at the bottom of my stomach are so tired and sore after lifting my 19 month old up and down all day today. Zzzzz.

When's your dating scan tuna?

My sickness is getting sooo much better now, can actually eat regularly and properly again which is good. Still very tired but I'm pretty sure that's more to do with a certain one year old teething her first molars Hmm

And exciting about your dating scan! You'll have to post your scan pics! I haven't even had my appointment through the post yet :( plus my husband is off to the other side of the world for work for two weeks between when I'm 12 - 14 weeks! So looks like I'm going on my own.

I have my private scan tomorrow and my official nhs scan on 3rd November when I think I'll be 13 weeks.
Glad to hear you're feeling better loz! I was sick this morning and was pretty happy about it as my symptoms have been really few and far between so a wee vomit was very much welcomed!

Glad everyone else is doing well. So excited about all the scans!

I ovulated yesterday so am in the 2ww now... I really really want my BFP this month as a June baby would be ideal but I'll just have to wait & see...

It was good thanks! A little behind- as expected. 7+5 today instead of maybe 8+2 according to nhs so I'm fine with that! Baby was happy and healthy so all good!

Not much to report here, felt a little Nauseous this morning and have slightly sore boobs but other than that pretty symptomless, just keeping fingers crossed that things are progressing,

DD is almost 15mo and I'm desperate to start TTC number 2. Have reached the point now where I feel like we are actually missing a child when we go out. We have agreed to start in January and as happy as I am with things a part of me feels like the time is dragging!

Welcome dusk! I know that feeling once you've decided you will ttc you just want to get on with it rather than wait but I'm sure January will be here before we all know it!

Hi all :) I hope nobody minds me jumping on this thread.

DD just turned 2 (2 weeks ago) and DH and I are on month 2 of TTC no.2. I think I ovulated on Friday/Sat, but this wait is killing me already. I have been so crampy and shattered the last day or so, but I know it's probably just AF gearing up so I'm trying not to symptom spot. The wait is the worst...

Ami, I think we're roughly in sync as I'm 4dpo today. When is your AF due? I only have an 11 day luteal phase so AF is due a week tomorrow for me. I'm trying to focus on other things but the 2ww (even when it's only 11 days) always drags!

DP pointed out that at least I'd be able to have a drink this Christmas so I'm trying to use it as motivation to calm down and be patient... I know which I'd prefer though!

Welcome ami fingers crossed for you! It's so hard to be patient when ttc isn't it, the tww is the worst!

5 weeks today going by day I think I ov'd Sonnet. Got back from a few days in the sun this afternoon, it's been good to relax, although couldn't enjoy the wine or half the food I love! Haven't tested whilst I've been away but have a digi which I think I'll find it hard to resist in the morning, hopefully it will show 2-3 at least! As long as it does then I'm going to try and make that my last test!

Oh lovely, it's nice to get away! Shame about the wine though!! I spent a fortune on clearblue digis which in hindsight I realise was silly! I could've booked another private scan for what I spent on tests! Glad to hear all is going well for you!

I've already spent a fortune on tests, feel like I've been POAS for weeks what with ov tests and then preg tests and then all over again! Was actually quite refreshing on holiday.to wake up and not POAS! Haha!

Got my 2-3 weeks on a digi this morning so gives me hope that things are progressing since the last test. Going to try and make that my last!

Going to wait until I get past 6 weeks and the book in early scan!

Hope the tww isn't dragging too much for those in it!

Early scans are so reassuring. I have 4 weeks until my 12week scan and I really want to book another private one for around 10weeks but I think that's just a total waste of money...it's so hard not knowing what's going on, especially as my symptoms are so different to last time!

Good news seems short lived for me at the moment, have started bleeding and have painful cramps so think it's over again if it was a new pg. Sad trying to stay positive that we conceived quickly so hopefully we will be lucky again next time.

Hope you are all doing ok x
