Ttc number 2!

Hello! Anyone thinking of ttc number 2? I have a 6 month old baby and don't want a big age gap between babies. AF has been a bit erratic over the past few months but DH and I have decided to make next month the first month of ttc. Anyone else sort of in the same boat?

Those of you who got your BFPs, what DPO did you get it at? I'm trying to decide whether to test on thursday (10dpo) or wait...

Only got a static smiley yesterday so thinking I'll most prob ov today, ive been having some pain on one side so fingers crossed that's it happening! Had another set of post mc bloods done yest as hcg was still 15, they want to see them down to 5 but I'm assuming you can ov before they are 5?! Have also been temping so hoping for a temp rise in the next day or two to confirm!

I feel like I've become a bit obsessed this cycle and if it don't get my BFP I need to be a bit more relaxed next cycle Hmm

How long is your LP normally purple would 10dpo be when your AF is due or is it not due until the weekend?

10 dpo with an Internet cheapie and a first response! If you've got cheap ones then use them! I only tested because I had about 10 little cheapies in the cupboard!

I got my bfp at 9dpo but it was super super faint. Couldn't See it in a picture! !

10dpo I had a nice line but still faint on a cheapy 25ml test

Hmmm. I still can't decide whether to test tomorrow or not. I'm pretty sure it's not my month. Starting to get a breakout of spots which is always a sure sign of AF on her way. But then there's that little niggle that it could be my month. Gah! I hate the 2ww! Not sure about LP length Mrs as this is my first month charting. Last month I think I ov'd on CD20 (based on OPKs) and AF arrived on CD31. All previous cycles had been 28 days though (not sure of ovulation day) and this month I ov'd on CD13.

How are you doing Mrs? Did you get a temp rise?

What cycle day are you on purple? If you've got some cheap tests then no reason why not. If I didn't have cheap tests then I would maybe wait until period was actually late! Good luck! Got everything crossed for you!

If you can deal with a possible BFN purple then I'd say test but then I seem to have become a bit of a POAS addict recently! have you had any other symptoms?

Yes got a temp rise this morning but it was so hot last night wonder if it was just because of that but hopefully another high temp tomorrow will confirm it and then I'll be in the tww! Gaahh hate the tww

No other symptoms. Today is CD22. I think I'll wait & see what my temp is like in the morning & then decide whether to test or not. I do have a few ICs and two FRERs stashed Smile

I got my positive with an IC...it was barely visible but it did show something...the frer cleared up the confusion! I say go for it if you have one to spare!

Mrs* - TWW is such a PITA. I hope it doesn't drag too much for you

I'm just bumbling along. Still no nausea. But eating like a pig, and all the wrong stuff too. I feel enormous already. My belly is so bloated and gross. But can't complain. I'm getting off very lightly so far

Thanks ladies but I think I'm out for this month. My temp has taken another dip so I'm not going to waste a test. It'd be good if AF would arrive at the weekend as that'll give me a decent LP but mean I can get on with the next cycle. I hate waiting for AF!

Hope you're managing to distract yourself from the 2ww dragging mrs.

Busy at work this week so managing to distract myself, further temp rise this morning so pretty sure I ov'd Tuesday, not going to get my hopes up though as only managed to dtd sat & mon.

Glad your not feeling too bad tuna have you organised your early scan yet?

Mrs - no, not yet. Can't seem to find a good time to go. I'll be 8 weeks on Sunday, so any time next week I guess. But DH wants to come with me and his only available day is weds. But the scan place has no appointments on weds. Maybe next weekend...

sonnet generally temps dip back down before AF. If pg it should stay up. As I've had two days of lower temps, I don't think pregnancy is looking likely. If I get a big rise tomorrow it could be different but I suspect I'll get another dip. I suppose as always, you're not out until AF but I think my temps are making pregnancy unlikely. Plus I have zero symptoms anyway

I'm still on holiday and feeling pretty awful. Not sure how I'm going to manage the coach journey and flight home on Monday to be honest. I'm dreading it!

Hope you're still feeling well tuna and sonnet - how far gone are you now sonnet??

Oh poor you! I felt so unwell last year on holiday. I was around 8 weeks at the time and was sick quite a few times!
Nhs calculator puts me at 6 weeks but I'm thinking I'm maybe still 5 as I ovulated so late in my cycle. Got my early scan in 2 weeks so that'll give me a proper date.

Sonnet these early weeks really drag don't they?! Excited for your first scan! You must post some pictures!

Haven't booked a scan yet. Probably going to go next weekend. I'll be 9 weeks then so should be able to get a half decent picture.

Seeing midwife on Monday for my booking appointment. Exciting!

Feeling quite well really. Just bloated and spotty. Lovely.

I continued to have lower temps & AF arrived this morning. I was expecting it so I'm not too disheartened...onto the next cycle! AF arriving today gives me an 11 day LP which I'm happy with. If I conceive this cycle, the due date will be DD's birthday! I'm hoping Sod's law works in my favour Wink
