Ttc number 2!

Hello! Anyone thinking of ttc number 2? I have a 6 month old baby and don't want a big age gap between babies. AF has been a bit erratic over the past few months but DH and I have decided to make next month the first month of ttc. Anyone else sort of in the same boat?

Sorry you've had more spotting Malbec hopefully it's nothing to worry about.

Tuna I know I should hold out until 8 weeks as then I'll be certain to see something but because of the spotting I'm tempted to go sooner....going to see how things are at the end of the week and then decide. I'll be 8 weeks around the 10th sept so it's not that long to wait really, just need to keep myself busy!

Fingers crossed for you purple!

To those who are pregnant, wait until 8 weeks!! The heartbeat doesn't form until 7 weeks and no private clinic or nhs will scan you before then (if you tell them your due date...) if you see a baby before 8 weeks then there could be no heartbeat (yet!!) but you will just stress yourself out!

malbec sorry to hear about your spotting. I am sure you will be totally ok

Thanks everyone. It's so weird.
Progesterone test said within one working day of the receiving it which will be by 1pm today. So hopefully should know by that time tomorrow.

Yeah 8 weeks seems the standard earliest for a scan to see the heartbeat. Anything before that is unlikely to show either way for definite.

How many dpo are you how Purple?

In fact, thoughts on this- so I'm cd20 and still no positive opk. Boobs are really sore across the top...I'm sure that ovulation is indicated by sore boobs at the sides? Thinking I'll be out this month...?

When did you start testing with the OPKs sonnet ? Are you testing more than once a day?

I'm 12dpo today malbec. I'll buy a FRER to use tomorrow FMU if still no AF so I'll be 13dpo by then. The FRER will give me a true result at this stage

Started testing on day 12 and for the past maybe 4 days I have done it twice a day!! I'm taking vit b...no idea if that's affecting it?

How annoying Sonnet!

I've heard the vitamins can delay ov though so that could be why. Have you had any dark lines at all on the tests?

Not really- a few days ago I thought it was a shade lighter than test line so I thought O was close but the following day there was no line at all! Since then it has fluctuated in terms of light/dark so I'm not too optimistic! It's ok, this is the first month of ttc so I may just write this one off and go from next month!

I'm sure I've said this before but b6 delays my ovulation by a week so keep testing I'd say sonnet.

Oh and yeah if I get sore boobs in the TWW it's always at the sides. But I don't know if that's different for everyone?

The side of the boobs indicates ovulation so malbec sounds about right for you!
I'll keep testing as I have about 12 cheapy tests left and more ordered today but not too optimistic!

FRER has been purchased! Why do I always feel embarrassed buying a pregnancy test? Blush had to buy something else so it wasn't the only thing in my basket. Ha ha! Not at all optimistic but we shall see... I'm pleased/amazed at how much of an affect the B6 has had though!

Gah that is frustrating if the b6 has delayed ov for you though sonnet. Hopefully you get a positive OPK soon. I thought mine were never going to get dark but then suddenly they just got very dark!

When I bought mine the other day the cashier rang the test through then looked in my buggy as if to say "really... again?" Haha

Ha ha! Glad I'm not the only one. Shopping with a toddler is always a challenge. When I was deciding whether to get the single or double pack, DD started looking at bottles of lube! Shock ha ha! We made a pretty quick exit!

Going to test in the morning malbec. I'm rubbish at not drinking/peeing for longer than 2 mintues hours

Hahaha! I know, I still get so embarrassed! I now buy them way in advance off amazon! The last time I bought one it set the bloody security alarm off in tesco and a security guard had to check my bag...why?! Why would that happen?!
