Ttc number 2!

Hello! Anyone thinking of ttc number 2? I have a 6 month old baby and don't want a big age gap between babies. AF has been a bit erratic over the past few months but DH and I have decided to make next month the first month of ttc. Anyone else sort of in the same boat?

I drink in the 2ww but stop a few days before Af/ testing time. But yeah, doesn't form for a while so totally safe! I am more of a binge drinker (shameful at my age!) but never really have just one wine...more like the full bottle Blush so don't do that every night so it's easy enough to abstain!!

I'm not too worried...I did similar before I found out I was pregnant with DD and she is just fine, except for the paw patrol obsession!

wherethefuckisthefuckingtuna · 19/08/2016 17:23

I wouldn't worry. In these early stages it won't affect the developing embryo.

If I'd known my last glass of wine 5 days ago was going to be my last for a while, I would have savoured it more!!

I'm 13dpo today :)

loztredders · 19/08/2016 18:27

Oh gosh tuna wish I'dve had a glass this past week now! !
Another dry Xmas with no pate haha!

I think I'm 11dpo today

wherethefuckisthefuckingtuna · 19/08/2016 18:55

Another sober, Christmas, birthday (January), Valentine's Day...

But it's a small price to pay. And this is the last time I'm doing it. So determined to enjoy this pregnancy!

wherethefuckisthefuckingtuna · 19/08/2016 18:55

New Year's Eve!!!!

Sonnet18 · 19/08/2016 18:58

Haha I missed pate so much at Xmas! And all the good cheese! I was about 33 weeks at Xmas so I had some prawns (wasn't sure if you could have them!) and they were excellent! Yep, last time- just power through and think of the amazing wine, pate and cheese feast you can have in 9 months (when you're sleep deprived and constantly irritated...!)

Yup this week be the last time for me too so I'll try to enjoy it. Hated it last time though although the movements were amazing of course.

I'm sure we can eat prawns as long as we know they're properly cooked :-)

loztredders · 19/08/2016 21:11

This will I meant... Not this week!

Sonnet18 · 19/08/2016 21:23

Aw yeah, baby moving was amazing! It's funny- I can barely remember it now! Being pregnant was hard work and stressful but just enjoy it as best you can

Feeling very crampy this morning. Fairly sure AF will be here before the end of the day Sad

How's everyone else doing? Any of the preggos still to tell your OH?

MmmMalbec · 20/08/2016 06:41

Moving baby was definitely by the far the best thing about pregnancy. I found a lot of it really really hard but that used to cheer me up!

How many dpo are you today Purple? Hopefully it's implantation cramps for you.

4dpo here so nothing much to report really!

PurpleHaze1 · 20/08/2016 06:47

Ah yes the movements were lovely Smile I had a straightforward pregnancy with DD but don't feel like I enjoyed it. No2 will be last for us too so I want to try to enjoy it!

9/10 dpo malbec I should know by this evening if the cramps are AF or not. Will try to keep busy today to take my mind off it

lousylear · 20/08/2016 06:47

Day 26 today. Away with dp. Testing Monday.

MmmMalbec · 20/08/2016 07:13

That's how I feel Purple, hopefully we'll enjoy the next one. It would be a shame if the B6 hasn't worked for you. Did you start it at the start of your cycle.

Sorry lousy I must have missed your introduction because I'm not sure of any of your stats or anything. But good luck for Monday!

loztredders · 20/08/2016 07:14

I told OH last night cuz he asked if I'd tested lately haha.
He asked at 8dpo and was obvs neg so he asked again last night.

Purple, I had af cramps the day before expected AF so you're def not out in regards to cramps :-)
He keeps talking about it and whilst it's great that he's excited I don't want to let myself get too excited just in case it doesn't work out

lousylear · 20/08/2016 07:25

Hey I'm 41, trying for #4! (Mc, DD, DD, mc, DS) They are 12,10,8. Now with new partner, younger than me with no kids. Would really like one or two together. Busy dtd lots due to my age! Cycle #1 after merina removal. Kids desperate for a new brother or sister. Trying to relax but using ovia app and temping. FX everyone ttc.

MmmMalbec · 20/08/2016 07:50

What stage did you have your previous MC loz?

Ah ok, good luck Lousy.

Sonnet18 · 20/08/2016 11:02

Welcome lousy! Number 4! Wow!

Well I got an almost positive on opk today (cd17) so I expect it to be positive tomorrow (cd18, as usual) so fingers crossed this is my month...first month so I doubt it!

Malbec the first was at 12 weeks though baby had stopped developing at 6 weeks ish - found out at 12 week scan.

Last one was at about 5 weeks but I'd already had what I thought was my period so I didn't think that was going to end well from the start.

loztredders · 20/08/2016 13:47

Welcome lousy!

You must be a pro with three kids!

lousylear · 20/08/2016 16:45

Always said 3 was enough but new partner and I'm broody all over again! Lol. No probs before but I'm 41 now so we'll see.

loztredders · 20/08/2016 19:33

I'm sure it'll all be fine. How exciting :-)

MmmMalbec · 21/08/2016 05:34

Oh Loz the MMC must have been awful. Did you have any idea? Sorry you've had a second MC as well. So cruel. How many dpo are you today?

Any update Purple?

PurpleHaze1 · 21/08/2016 06:46

Sorry to hear about your losses loz Sad

So AF hasn't shown. I did an IC HPT a wee while ago but it was a stark BFN. I'm 10/11dpo.

How's everyone else? Any signs malbec?
