Must admit I have had a good chuckle- feeling not so glum- might have to leave the hut.
I posted earlier on some soppy thread about washing your babies clothes... Was in a bad mood... women that iron babygros really f**k me off.

I know, poor Debs. She meant well. We're the mean bitches behind the bike sheds slagging off the nice girls. But I'm being all self-obsessed and miserable so I refuse to care.

Women who iron babygros? Who? Women without babies? Women with babies don't have TIME to iron ANYTHING, or inclination, or the standards! Obviously these are women with staff. In w hich case, why are the staff not doing the ironing?

(ps, I'm talking from experience, not slagging off mothers out of extreme bitterness. Perhaps other people's standards are still respectable)

Sorry ladies didnt mean to cause offence,just wanted to show you some support as i too was in your situation for 2 whole years 3 mcs and plenty of heartbreak,just wanted to help in some small way (obviously i havent)its just something i do when i get chance on the conception threads as i know how lonely and utterley sad life can be when you want a baby so much.

Debbs - thanks for your message. I know you are trying to help, and I do appreciate that. It's just that this particular thread is the self-styled "hut of gloom", which is somewhere we can go when are feeling down and grumpy and we can be sure that no-one will try to cheer us up. As I'm sure you know, a lot of the ttc threads can be a bit, well, perky, and this thread is just somewhere for us when we need to get away from that and sink in a cesspit of our own self pity etc etc etc....

Hi all. Have been lurking here. Am waiting for AF (yes!!!) 5 months after m/c (first try) and 3 m/c related surgeries (2 ERPCs and one that opened my cervix which had closed up due to the ERPCs, which cause my AF to pool for months in my uterus (probably malpractise)). If you get annoyed about AF, just think of me!!! Fellow-doomies, send me AF-thoughts and tell my cervix to forgive me for ever putting her through all these ERPCs and never close up again! I promise her and my uterus never to get another ERPC and swear I will miscarry naturally henceforth if I should ever be so lucky as to fall pg again. Doomies, will you accept me in your exclusive circle?

Nothing exclusive about the Hut of Gloom (which I accidentally called the Hut of Doom in the title- smiley-induced typo), D4phne. All welcome. Only one rule- no chirpiness. (Does anyone else feel that the Hut has been sullied by that..that...substance? anyone wanna move?)

Oh and virtual drink well before the sun crosses the yardarm, and virtual drugs as well. As Impatience says, we is the bad girls and we don't like B*st and we don't care.

Debbs - as I said, I do appreciate your messages but unfortunately, some of us just need a place to vent. When I am feeling that it is just not going to happen, people telling me it worked out ok for them, doesn't really help as it doesn't follow that your experience alters my chances in any way! Maybe it would just be best to leave us grumpy girls alone to smoke behind the bikesheds (although, as I recall, a lot of those girls got pregnant quite quickly!)

Am going to take my blue beret off now.
