There wasn't any more room for moaning with all those grinny smilies's eyes following me around the room.

Suspected (my own self-diagnosis) perimenopause, anyone?

beansprout - I can assure you it is one of many!

duchesse - you are so right,,, I think it does not help that my brother likes playing the innocent mummy's boy card... so he can get what he wants! So she is always going to be inclined to treat us like kids if we act like them.. I'm 31 though and it is becoming annoying. I've told them I will get my own back when they are too old to do anything..You can guarantee it will be me and Dh saddled with them rather than my bro and SIL. God.. so much love in my family!

duchesse · 02/02/2007 18:01

Spins quickly, unravelling to get there first- luckily not too far away

Debbsy throws in a huuuuge box of ferrero roche

mum03 · 02/02/2007 18:36

mum03 waltz's in thinking she is great because she has a huge tub of cookie and cream chocolate ice-cream but realises she has been out done by ferrero roche, so she goes selfishly and quietly into corner and sits eating it herself

Rahrah - why did you tell your mum that you would say something to your brother at the weekend? Please just don't listen to anything she says, she has no idea what you are going through. I have to say the christ-tingle for Bertie was a wonderful idea, it chokes me up thinking of it.

Lottie - mothers : who would have them?

mum03 stuffs another big spoonful of icecream in her mouth

mum03 · 02/02/2007 18:44

mum03 passes beansprout a spoon

rahrah1 · 02/02/2007 19:36

Knock Knock, can I come in please?
Have been lurking on and off, but feel the need to enter for a bucket full of red wine.
Really p*ed off today.
PG woman at work has been pleading stress and that nobody cares or looks after her-really wanted to say to her to think herself lucky as today I would either have a 6 week old baby or would have been 36 weeks pg if I hadn't had my mcs last year. Some people don't know how lucky they are.
Can't do that smoking lark, but a very long straw so I could drink from that vat of red wine without having to get up would suit me nicely.

duchesse · 02/02/2007 21:40

No need to knock Jossie, the door's always open, not to say hanging off its hinges... "Unhinged"? Who said that?

OP posts:
Jossiejump · 02/02/2007 21:49

Unhinged? That'll probably be me after this wine

duchesse · 02/02/2007 22:30

hi folks (pops head around the door to see scatterings of empty icecream tubs and a few empty wine vats)
looks like you've been having a bit of a rave. Can't stay long DH still has swollen bollock and despite us both turning up at the docs no real result.... so no action for us this month and now poor DH's mother has died so we are truely in the house of gloom. We think its cos we painted one wall of the kitchen green (plummer says green is bad luck inthe house) so Im going out tomorrow to get some RED. That should get rid of it ...so won't stop, but will leave this for you guys to carry on the party [ leaves a box of wine on coffee table and slips out the door)....

blimey lottie!!! you must be nuts!

Catbabymummy · 03/02/2007 07:59

I had a couple of glasses of Bailey's Creme Caramel. Nice, but preferred the mint choc one. That was lush!!
I have actually been to bed.
Had bizarre dream, was in this room there was pg lady, a lady with baby and this older women (who apparently was the aunt of one of my close friends) and the older woman asked me how my bump was and I was very angry because she had not been told that I had a m/c and I told her my baby died. Then I started crying and demanded that me and dh left and had a go at my friend and her dp for not telling people like we asked.
As it happens, I'm seeing these people and a whole gang of mutual friends (we all went to uni together) today. We use a Bulletin Board to keep in touch as we are scattered across the country and I put a post on bringing everyone up to speed about what had happened to me. Basically I don't want people talking to me about what happened, as it's supposed to be a happy occasion today, and I think I'm dreading seeing people who still might not know I'm not pg any more - especially as I won't have seen this particular group of friends since NYE when I announced I was pg.
So wish me plenty of Dutch Courage!!

Catbabymummy · 03/02/2007 08:00

Lissie what you still doing here - no glowing happy people allowed!!
CBM whispers into Lissies ear - Psst, so happy for you!
