There wasn't any more room for moaning with all those grinny smilies's eyes following me around the room.

Suspected (my own self-diagnosis) perimenopause, anyone?

Duchesse think your right might try and talk to dr again. My mum had 3 mc before i was born and worried about me coping. I was Reading on another thread it increase your risk of having another one. I hate making decisions. I think I really want them to look my remaining tube again probabley be a really long waiting list, bloody Nhs I wish I had medical insurance.

sideways · 31/01/2007 19:26

Hi all,

Feeling strangely disinterested today, but I think that is just a apathetic attempt to hide the fact that my period is due Sun/Mon and I am desperately going mad trying not to symptom spot, at the same time as symptom spotting like crazy.

Does that make sense to anyone except me?

At this rate, I will be the only female I know not announcing a pregnancy. If one more does it, I will not be held responsible for my actions.

lissielou · 31/01/2007 19:47

has anyone heard from greedy?

sideways · 31/01/2007 19:49

I was just thinking about her. Hope she's ok.

lissielou · 31/01/2007 19:53

hmmmm, is there any gin going? still bleeding and have decided that i imagined the whole fecking thing

Catbabymummy · 31/01/2007 20:16

passes the gin to Lissie.

Do you want tonic and ice with that, or more gin?

greedyforbabies · 31/01/2007 20:18

i do have news! but i am afraid its not really suitable for the hut of gloom/doom! see the tcoyf thread if interested!

i had better run out quick before i get attacked by lots of pissed up MNers for being too chirpy!
i will no doubt be back soon, when everything starts going shit again!

Impatience · 31/01/2007 20:33

Well I'm NOT going over to any chirpy thread despite my affections for Greedy. I can guess what it's about, and I'm pleased for you my old chum. Good for you.

I've spotted two silly questions posted on here in the last couple of hours: Does anyone else feel that life is on hold, and Does anyone else understand what I mean by trying not to symptom spot but doing it obsessively? Silly girls! I think this purple haze has clouded your thinking: I DEFINATELY feel like that, and I bet most of us do.

Had to laugh though at the sexy foreplay trying to get a lube pump to work. Raunchy!

Catbabymummy · 31/01/2007 20:42

We had a bottle each, dh and I were having trouble with both of them. After 10 mins twisting the fahking lids, dh turns around and says "do you feel sexy yet?"

Thank goodness it is Wednesday, except it's the last day of the month. So tomorrow have to do all my month end stuff on top of the usual sh*t I have to deal with....

sideways · 31/01/2007 21:22

Impatience - sorry for the silly question , what I actually meant was does anybody understand my inane ramblings.

Will try and keep my questions more intellectual in future.

duchesse · 31/01/2007 21:25

I think that Impatience means that we all understand all too well, sideways, and that's the bastard thing about it, and why we're here really. So no need to explain anything (unless you want to), or apologise for feeling how you feel, cos we're all there too.

And it helps to share.

OP posts:
sideways · 31/01/2007 21:30

Yeah, I know what she meant, and it's not what I meant, but never mind, I'm just feeling a bit stroppy!

Anyway, thank feck that this hut has been declared an af- and bd-free zone. And if any of that disgusting b*dust gets near me I'll vomit.

beansprout · 31/01/2007 21:35

Maybe the title of the next hut thread could be the most offensive one since "C*nting Sainsbury's".

Any suggestions for the next one?

"Hut of doom pt 3. F*ck off with your babydust and btw, fairies don't exist either"?

sideways · 31/01/2007 21:38

"Hut of Gloom pt. 3: We shag, we have periods and we spit on the shite that is b*dust"

Just a thought

duchesse · 31/01/2007 21:38

I like the sound of that, Beansprout. Bagsy you move huts when we feel the need (if you know how- otherwise I'm perfectly willing). Hut of Doom, or Hut of Gloom?

OP posts:
duchesse · 31/01/2007 21:39

Mind you, I like sideways' as well...

OP posts:
duchesse · 31/01/2007 21:42

We could do a sort of "Mornington Crescent" hut move- ie completely random and unpredictable (a bit like last time really). Would fit our ethos (ha!).

OP posts:
beansprout · 31/01/2007 21:43

Go the whole hog - "hut of gloom and doom"?

Something about shagging and periods would be rather marvellous.

How about "Hut of gl/doom: a BD free zone" and wait for the first helpful post that suggests that is why we aren't getting pregnant? And hey, no amount of babydust is going to put that right.....

Debbsyandson · 31/01/2007 22:30

ffs

beansprout · 01/02/2007 08:57

Ah well, so much for self deprecating humour and the right to express ourselves how we want to!!

How is everyone today?

duchesse · 01/02/2007 10:14

Debby, dear, nobody's forcing you to be here. We're here because we want to be. If you don't like it, just stay away. Really.

Shag, shag, shag, period, period, period

or should that be

shag period shag period shag period

OP posts:
d4phne · 01/02/2007 10:23

Morning Sisters of Gloom!
Duchesse, you made me smile with your last comment:-)
For me that would need to be be adjusted to: no period no period shag shag no period no period shag.
BTW English is my second language and I didn't know the difference between doom and gloom. Know now, ha ha.

sideways · 01/02/2007 10:26

Agree duchesse. Debbsy, I know you like spreading babydust and wishing other ttcers well, and I remember your threads and how long you waited for your ds, but we are REALLY not into the glittery stuff here.

I mean that in a nice way

duchesse · 01/02/2007 10:26

Hey girls! Want to exercise your swearing power?

Try The Profane Game . I must admit to only managing a pitiful 16 points when using all the swear words I could muster. I really must get out more...

OP posts:
sideways · 01/02/2007 10:35

Tee hee duchesse.

I only got 19, more practice needed, I think.
