Morning - definitely in too good a mood this morning for the hut - not sure why the good mood, but not going to question it while it lasts!!

Anyway, 37.83 this morning, so up a little from yesterday. 11 DPO (well 11 days high temps - when do you count ov from, the day before temp rise or the day of temp rise?)

speak later

Morning all!
Well my temp has gone back up again this morning, which is good i guess...at least it isnt going down. I'm so used to my temp alarm going off- that I woke up 1 minute before i was due to take temp this morning.

BBW (forcesweetheart)- good luck for the rest of the year, I definitely agree with Greedy- I reckon it will be great to focus on yourself, without the TTC pressure.

Londonlottie- are you alright today? Hope DP is getting over his issues in time for baby making. I went through the same at about our 4th month TTC.

Minxi, Ready, Iwill- getting ready for the big shagging fest??

Mum03- how are your temps?

Rah- Hope not too hear from you as you are having too much fun in Wales.xx

greedyforbabies · 10/02/2007 10:16

how lovely that 3 of you are on the same cd! i have only just noticed!
where in the caribbean are you going lottie? tentative marriage plans! how exciting! would you tell anyone (apart from all of us obviously!) or just do it in secret?
we are going to ST.Lucia in 2 wks time! only booked it yesterday!!!!! nothing like leaving it till the last minute!!! i am VERY excited though! shame i wont be able to enjoy the cocktails though! and shame i am such a fat biffer at the moment (not pg related, just post xmas bulge!!!) but great that we will all be together for 2 weeks!
how out of order is it that you have to pay almost full price for little kids by the way!? my dd was only 2 last month and her flight is £400!!!!! (just as well she got some money for xmas!!!!!!...........only kidding, before you all start thinking i am the meanest mum in the world)

greedyforbabies · 10/02/2007 10:17

honeyapple.........its coming to crunch time for you! are you feeling hopeful???

honeyapple · 10/02/2007 10:50

Hi Greedy- My sister is in ST lucia at the moment with her lovely kids and hubbie. Very jealous! And now very jealous of you! Are you worried at all about the long haul flight on your little bean? Sorry dont want to put negative thoughts in your head... whoops sorry... BTW I flew to Dubai when about 10 wks PG and from Australia at 6 mths PG...
I am feeling stupidly optimistic this month! No reasons to be really- just reckon that 6 mths is bloody long enough for me to wait. It must be going to happen soon! How long were you TTC? Have no symptoms at all which is great! I have decided to give up completley symptom spotting becasue it was all rubbish! I'm planning not to test, just to temp and wait and see if my temps drop (or not).

Re holidays- I'm thinking about Croatia this summer. Easy jet do some cheapish flights to SPlit...then there are lots of islands to explore...anyone been?

Hi All,

I left a thread on another part of the site and someone told me about this thread - so here I am!! Hello!!!

I am actually taking my temp in F and not C as the book I am reading, Taking Charrge of your Fertility is in F. Has anyone else read this book? Very good but it doesnt seem to have temps as low as mine! Will try to convert temps!!!
My lowest before ovulation is 35.8. Does anyone else have temps this low as it is really worrying me? I know Rahrah and Ready said they have low temps and that they have low blood pressure. I have low blood pressure too!! Maybe that is it!
Went to doctors for tests as low temps can be a sign of thyroid problem, will get results next week.

rahrah1 · 10/02/2007 11:19

Morning Folks

Guess what....I've only just woken up (don't worry I woke up to take my temp earlier) and I'm still in bed..how lazy I'm I!!!!!!(had my laptop next to the bed LOL)

Welcome angelfire777, I've just had a test for my thyroid too and the reflexoogist picked something up on it as well...so it will be interesting if something comes back on the results. I have another blood test on Tuesday to see if I've ovulated, so will call the clinic after that test. I'll let you know! I think I've had lows of 35.8 as well.

Score on the door today:

BBW - tbc CD31 / 10dpo (3rd cycle ttc)
Honeyapple - 36.8 cd22 7DPO (6th cycle ttc)
LondonLottie - 36.4 CD14 (4th cycle ttc)
Minxi - tbc cd8 (8th cycle ttc)
Mum03 - tbc / 7 or 9dpo (2nd cycle ttc)
Rah - 36.5 CD20(3rd cycle ttc)
Ready - tbc CD8 (6th cycle ttc)
iwill - tbc CD8 (9th cycle ttc)

Have I ovulated have I not...Maybe my ovaries are the only ones to know this month!!Yes I'm cracking up!

ForcesSweetheart - we are going to miss you..I bet you catch now, as you won't be trying!

greedyforbabies · 10/02/2007 11:46

honeyapple - you HAVE worried me! how can flying possibly have any effect on my little bean? what have you heard?
we went to the maldives when i was pg with ds and menorca and croatia when i was pg with dd. is it just the early stages that are a concern?
we didnt go to split in croatia, but i have heard it is very nice. we went to porec and i am not sure i would go back there to be honest, not with kids cos of the lack of beaches!

hello angel

i think it is definately the best idea if you do keep it a secret lottie. the last thing you need is everyone elses opinions (mine is ok though!) on whether or not you should get married or not! and everyone is bound to have an opinion aren't they! would it have to be organised before you went or could you just be really spontaneous and just go for it when you got there?

lottie - you are just being silly now! of course you wont be able to wear the same dress cos you will be at least 5 months pregnant by then and it wont fit you anymore!!!

Ready · 10/02/2007 12:44

Greedy, St. Lucia, v. at £400 for a two year old, but pmsl at "christmas money"... Oh, and I am sure I read that it's in the third trimester that they suggest not going on long haul flights. The concern comes from the reduced oxygen during flight, I think.

Angelfire777, welcome!! Yep, I go below 36 degrees c on the odd occasion. The lowest I have been is 35.84, which was a pre-ov dip. I do have a low-ish blood pressure, but nothing that my GP was concerned about (she said I would live longer ) but perhaps that does make my temps generally lower than some. HOWEVER ... "For most women temps between 35.6 - 36.7 degrees c taken orally is considered normal prior to ovulation" So you really shouldn't worry about 35.8. It really isn't too low.

Honeyapple, Where's your profile?? I know I am nosy, but I have been patiently waiting for you to make one !! It's my birthday today, so I fully intend to have a good session tonight Although don't want to shout too loud about turning 28. Your temps are looking really good, and my fingers are tightly crossed for you. And it's great that you are optimistic

ForcesSweetheart, Love the namechange by the way!! I'm sorry to hear that you are feeling down (hug), hope the break does you the world of good, but don't be a stranger!!

Lottie, Raining here too chick!! Was hoping for snow, but all we have had is dandruff. Sounds like you had a wonderful night with DP, so pleased for you!! And talk of maybe getting married!! That is excellent news, I know that you don't want to get your hopes up because of the everything that you have been through, but since he suggested it, then we will take it as a good sign!! Fingers crossed, you really deserve it!! Oh, and 3 days of juicing detox is better than none!! Well done.

Minxi, Giggle at your DSs driving you crazy!! Ssssh, don't try and put us newbies off Both your babes took 9 months in the making huh?? At the time were you stressed out about it taking that amount of time?? If someone told me it would take 9 months, I would be cool with it... it's the not knowing that frustrates me most.

Mum03, I am totally with you on the only taking temps orally. I am lucky, cos I get pretty consistent temps, for the most part, so haven't really had to think about doing it "down under". You are doing very well for resisting testing. I am proud of you

RahRah, (hug) Glad that we have been helpful, although usually I end up spouting nonsense and driving people to despair. Please feel free to slap me at any time You are not lazy for getting up so late, you are on holiday!! I am glad you are relaxing?? too nosy I know, but hope you got some lazy morning sex in ... would we talk to each other like this in person?? I think not

Iwill, I looked at your chart chick and noticed a massive temp hike?? What happened?? Have to ovulated early? Or disturbed nights?? Curious!!

Right... well, just found out DHs match has been called off, yay, so I will get to see him for more of my birthday than expected

Ready · 10/02/2007 12:45
