Morning - definitely in too good a mood this morning for the hut - not sure why the good mood, but not going to question it while it lasts!!

Anyway, 37.83 this morning, so up a little from yesterday. 11 DPO (well 11 days high temps - when do you count ov from, the day before temp rise or the day of temp rise?)

rahrah - i am on 8dpo, but if you remember (i went on about it enough, so you should!)...my dh was in new york from 5 days before ov until 5 days after, so not much hope for me!

my temp was 36.7 this morning, but i have started spotting, so looks like the old bitch is here again! cant be too upset this month as i knew it would be a miracle conception if i did get pg. but i am only 9dpo and normally i have at least a 12 day luteal phase.
your temp looks exciting fettle.....i have everything crossed for you...just a few more days of high temps could be it! do you feel afish?

OH! By the way......i know this isn't the hut of gloom but......if anyone says....."could be implantation bleeding" to me, i will hunt you down and.....and....and......give you a big old chinese burn!

I generally spot a couple of days before AF arrives, around DPO12, with a luteal phase of 14 days, so it may not mean anything Greedy. But I'd certainly keep an eye on things if it very different to what's "normal" for you. Have you been to GP as it has been a while now - I know this cycle was a bit of no-goer, but still...

No real AF signs as yet, boobs large and sore and AF cramping on and off, but have been for over a week now. Not going to get too positive as after last cycle, if I'd not known what was going on, when I started bleeding, I would have just assume AF was 2 weeks later.

Got to go, off to visit our new house we bought before Christmas to splash test paints on the walls!

i am still your long cycle buddy fettle! cd 43 today! thats long enough isn't it!? just a bit fed up with my crap body! i know i should be used to my long cycles by now, but they have never really been a problem until now! i'll get over it! got a big piss up this afternoon/tonight anyway, so hopefully will be fun! (see....i really am under no illusions that i could be pg!)
new houses are soooooooooooo exciting! when do you move in? and how come it is empty and you can go and see it?

My temp rose to 36.18 as you can see today, but still just below my coverline (presuming I have drawn it in the right place )... thinking today will be OV day. Plenty of effort (I prefer saying effort to BDing!) last night, and the plan is meal out, cinema (Babel) and home for some more effort ...

Think my auntie floella may have just boarded her train for her visit - at least she's sent me a tiny warning spotting postcard this afternoon. Not too upset at mo, but kind of hope that her train gets lost, or she gets side-tracked by some sight-seeing and she doesn't actually turn up on time (try being at least 9 months late, but with some breastfeeding, make that over a year late, auntie!!)

Got strong crampy/twinges in abdo late last night, in the same place on right hand side, which I think were OV. So I am guessing I OVd v. late and hence my temp only rose a small amount this morning. My book says that the temp rise will be visible 12-24 hours after OV, so I think that this mornings reading was too soon for a significant shift???
Anyone still with me?
I have marked yesterday as OV cos of the pain, wetness and previous charts. Despite the lack of temp shift this morning? Is this wise?? Or am I just forcing it??

Looking for a temp rise of significance tomorrow morning to justify my theory. But would be grateful if someone thinks I am being daft now.

Howdy Peeps.... I feel like poo.... went out last night and drank far to much. My partner in crime and her DP stayed and she puked everywhere!! I have not been sick yet...but don't feel like the brightest button in the box.

The temp shift will come in the day after ovulation - just looked it up in my 'Toni Weschler' book for u....

Well, I have never really taken any notice of pains for OV either, but that is cos I didn't really know what to look for, or when. So I guess I am kinda clutching at straws but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do!!

I am sure someone said, and I read that we chart things in days, but the body obviously doesn't work according to a schedule that we choose. So the difference of a few hours can change the way we look at things... Again, possibly clutching at straws.

Going to have sex again tonight (ha ha, agree the things we say to each other! Chuckle!) It's probably best to carry on with the concerted effort, til my temp shoots up!!

I have dried up actually... forgot to think about that factor (I am useless!!), yesterday was very... not dry

Oops, cross posts with you rahrah, thanks for looking it up for me... but what happens if you OV at 11pm on a Sat, then 8 hours later when I take my temp, has there been enough time for the surge to be detected?? IYSWIM?? So it will be the Monday that I chart the rise? But is it still possible that OV was on the saturday??

Am I making sense to you all?? It makes sense in my head, but I am not doing the best job at articulating it!!

Ready, I think your temp rise can be seen 24-36 hours after you actually ovulate, so you probably wouldn't see it today. Don't worry if you are up tomorrow and then down again and day after and then up again, as some people do have a dip 2 days after ov due to sudden drop in oestrogen I think.

Anyway, hope those hangovers are over, Lottie and Rahrah!

Ok, I know I shouldn't have tested Ready, only being 13 DPO, but my temp was much much higher than I would have expected at 830 this morning, that I thought I'd check. Kind of wish I hadn't now, as now I'm terrified about losing another one. So I'm going to pretend I didnt' test and see what happens over the following week. It is my birthday on Saturday, so if I can have a properly positive BFP on Saturday morning that would be a fantastic present!

Still have bad AF pains and my boobs are agony, so still think AF may arrive on Tuesday really.

So worried, it will go horribly wrong, but obviously pleased that I've now managed to conceived in 2 cycles in a row! Not bad considering it took 2 years to conceive DD and 10 to conceive the 1st mc at beginning of last year. Let's just hope I can keep hold of one now!!

Right off to have a tea party with DD, dog, octopus and DD's baby!!
