Morning - definitely in too good a mood this morning for the hut - not sure why the good mood, but not going to question it while it lasts!!

Anyway, 37.83 this morning, so up a little from yesterday. 11 DPO (well 11 days high temps - when do you count ov from, the day before temp rise or the day of temp rise?)

speak later

Rahrah, hope you are having a wonderful time.

Lottie, Big hugs flower. I'm sorry that you are so down at the moment. And sorry that your DP is stressed with work. I think any stress in the house has a knock on effect. I know that when DH is worried about his contract and can't sleep, it throws me out of sync. It sounds like you have got lots to keep you occupied, I hope it proves to be a positive distraction. If you are really worried about going to Spain, could you back out?? Or do you think it is just jitters?? You've got to be happy at the end of the day. Oh, and you are not being self-obsessed honey!!!

Minxi, It's possible that your temp will drop a little prior to the 2ww, so then you won't have to be so hot.

So how are the resident pregnant gals today then??

Honeyapple, Mum03, BBWBabeLisa, Iwillbe ... hope all is well

Lottie - I had one of those juicers and used it all the time for about 6 weeks, but actually cheaper to buy those innocent juices these days - well and quicker too...

Ready - cycle bud only another week or so and we should be heading for ov... valentines day might be worth a bd now !

Must dash as have to collect DS2 from nursery...

Hello all,

Well my temp contiued to rise today... can somebody who knows about all this temping lark tell me... Is your temp supposed to keep going up and up until you boil???? or does it plateau...??

I fought through the snow today to take DS to school and DD to playgroup. Nearly crashed the car...at 5 mph...brakes completely went! Fortunatley the handbrake saved us! Snows all gone a bit grey and squelchy now, not sure if we'll have any left for a snowman making session this afternoon.

Mum03 sore boobies eh? Could be positive, but to be blunt, mine were really sore and big last month...so i dunno, not sure if you'd really get any symptoms yet. I've realised that it's pointless to symptom spot until after AF due, as for me, the symptoms have all been wishful thinking...
I want to know more about what to expect with the temps...if you are PG they will stay high? is that right?

Londonlottie- your juice diet sounds like torture! I couldnt go a day with out a piece of toast- or anything to munch on... perhaps it would be better just to eat the fruit.. at least crunching an apple. My friend once made me a carrot, apple and ginger juice and i nearly chucked up... sorry... (i am very impressed by the ingredients list though)

Ready, glad you are sounding positive and Minxi too. Valentines is a great day to get PG so I've heard!

fettle · 08/02/2007 12:47

Hi all

can't stop long - only just got into work and want to leave early to drive home in the dark - don't fancy freezing fog in the dark on top of melting/freezing snow!!

Well - we saw a little lump with a flickering heart beat. 6 +3 wks, which puts me exactly what I thought based on my temp rise - amazing that we can quite so much knowledge over our bodies!

Quickly - Honey - yes your temps will stay high if you are pg. If you have 18 days of consecutive high temps then you are pretty much guarantee that you are pg. Your temps seem pretty high at the moment, but not abnormally so. What was your coverline at last month? Was your last period normal? Keep an eye on it all - you obviously shouldn't boil - my temps have peaked at 37.05 and generally hoovering around 36.9-37.0.

Hope everyone else is ok - I'll try and pop back this evening.

take care
xx

rahrah - it was fettle who had a scan today, mine was on monday and i have another in a week and a halfs time. like lottie says.............dont stress!!!!!! AND dont forget........i didnt ovulate till cd34 last month and then got pg, so late ov'ing can be good!

hello evryone else..........isn't the slushy, muddy snow horrible? it doesn't stay pure and white for long does it? i think my snowman is sooooooooooo big it will last all week!

mum03 · 08/02/2007 18:14

Fettle - yippy for lumps little flickering heartbeat, so good to hear that good news, has it put your mind at rest, are you allowing yourself to get excited now?

Greedy - only 10 more days til you see a bean with a beat too.

rah - o will be with you soon on the hols.

Lottie - hope that dh gets suddenly randy for you at the right time. Have you tried reverse psychology on him, telling him he can't have any for weeks!

honey - I think I asked before, but how long is your l-p, when do you think your af (or not) is due?

ready - notice I did not ask honey when she is thinking of testing, it is not on my mind at all -

minxi - hot-cross-buns, oh now now I fancy one too!

iwill - hope you made it home safetly in the snow too.

bbw - hope you feel a bit better today, or are you well into pmt?

  • could you look at my chart on the chartthread and say when you think my o-day was?! So that I do not continue saying two different dates!
honeyapple · 08/02/2007 19:24

Evening all,
Quick post before I attempt to get DC in bed...
Mum03 I'm due on 15 or 16th Feb...so only a week to go.
Regarding OV- Do you get any OV cramps? I got quite strong ones this month and lots of EWCM last weekend, so I am presuming I OVed on sat... however my temps didnt start to rise until Monday I think- I dunno if you can ever really pinpoint OV completely correctly. I did a OPK on friday and it was positive (faint 2 lines). The best thing really is to ignore it all and just shag every couple of days... we kind of managed this i think... although NO sex on day i had most EWCM . (not for want of trying)

fettle · 08/02/2007 20:15

Hi All

Honey - You won't be able to pinpoint ov exactly, but it should happen about 24-36 hours prior to your temp shift - so in your case, ov on Sat eve sounds about right! Fingers-crossed for you. xx

Rah - hang in there, it will happen. As greedy has said, long cycles don't necessarily mean anything. I had a 56 day cycle when I conceived before Christmas! Hope Wales is not too cold - I don't think you missed much on the snow front, just cold and wet and disruptive (all for a few inches!!)

Lottie - good luck with the juicing - very envious of your willpower!! Good luck with DP too - hope he comes round. I think Mum03 might be right on the reverse psychology front - I know my DH hated "baby" sex and in fact all the times I've conceived has been on actually enjoyable sex!

Ready - how you doing? Not long now!! I do love your neverending positivity - can you bottle some and send me some!

Minxi - you doing ok? Coming on to the fun part of the cycle! Hot cross buns - yum, we've been eating them all week too - DD suddenly asked for them and who am I to deprive her!! and of course I have to help eat them, or they would go stale!

iwill - hope all well with you?

bbw - sorry you are having a tough time - my DD is playing up a bit at the moment too - exhausting. Take care of yourself - lots of TLC, if you can!

Mum03 - hang in there - sore boobs could be good, as are high temps - I'll have a look at your chart now and get back to you!

take care all
x
