Morning - definitely in too good a mood this morning for the hut - not sure why the good mood, but not going to question it while it lasts!!

Anyway, 37.83 this morning, so up a little from yesterday. 11 DPO (well 11 days high temps - when do you count ov from, the day before temp rise or the day of temp rise?)

speak later

minxi - everyone has differnet opinions about agnus castus! i gave it a go this month and concieved so i think i would recommend it, but i know some people link it to miscarriage and i have had all this bleeding.......so i dont know really. i took 400mg a day (thats only a half dose) until ov and then stopped.

lottie - dont start treating your body like a temple yet! treating it like a pub sounds like MUCH more fun! you have only been ttc for a couple of months haven't you? if i were you (which im not, so tell me to but out if you like!) i would carry on as normally as possible and then if you still aren't having any luck ttc in a few months maybe try the whole 'no alcohol' thing! you might as well enjoy getting pissed now while you can!

rahrah! you tart, flirting with all the little boys online!! have a wonderful time in wales. where abouts in wales is it you are going and when do you go? i nkow you have said, but i cant be arsed to trawl back through the thread, sorry!

did you follow my fantastic advice in the end iwillbe? i quite like that as a name for you! iwillbe! lovely!

i had so much more to say earlier before i dashed out and now i have forgotten it all!

iwillbepgbydec07 · 05/02/2007 17:29

greedy how did your scan go hun?

i followed your spectacular advice and i think ive cracked the link and chart thing..have a check if you can!

my name was created on a very positive day which is rare for me...not so optimistic now but im sticking with it!

greedyforbabies · 05/02/2007 17:32

BBW! thanks for thinking of me!

i wanted to get all that other stuff posted first before i started on me me me again!

well.........just as i knew really they said i am 5 1/2 wks pg! so they could see a pg sac and a yolk sac but thats all. that is all they should be seeing at this stage so everything looks normal. the sonographer said it was nice and high in my uterus which is apparently good! and she saw a cyst on one of my ovaries which is nothing to worry about apparently, and she couldn't find a reason for all the bleeding!
i was hoping for something a bit more reassuring really, like a heart beat, but at least everything is still there and agrees with my dates. i have to go and have another scan in TWO weeks time! how am i supposed to last that long hey!!!????

iwillbepgbydec07 · 05/02/2007 17:34

greedy congrats, everything islooking fab for you! and especially as you have said before that bleeding in early pregnancy is common for you!

two weeks is a tall order but you a strong person so you will get through it!

Fantastic news Greedy... YAYAYAYA

I'm going to a small peninsular called Gower...near Mumbles..

Ready - My brother had a girl...hahahahahahahaha serves him right!

I love a little flirt with the newly legal... hehe.. my sister said she went out on Saturday and a 17 year old would not leave her alone.. could of been interesting though, they are always pretty egar..

iwillbepgbydec07 - we have a hut that you may be interested in, it's to voice all our anger and frustrations out on.. anything goes expect for positivity and babydust!

Ready - I will have a read and get back to you... I'm sure you were not rude...

rahrah1 · 05/02/2007 19:46

Ready you were not rude at all... God those mums were annoying... Well I have 2 DD's already and whats wrong with saying I would like a blue flavor next time.... How F**king annoying... You can tell very easily none of them have had problems and they are slightly self centred and its all about them and their precious kids... I so felt like saying something... but thing I might of missed the boat! Good on you..

MrsMcJnr · 05/02/2007 20:23

Rahrah - don't get Ready fired up again, I'm in no fit state to wade in to fan her down again!!

How are you all doing? I am trying to keep an overview of you all but I'm getting behind .. what CDs are you all on now?

BBWBabeLisa · 05/02/2007 20:31

Oh greedy I'm so relieved for you! Was almost dreading checking back after I put DD down for the night in case there was bad news. That is wonderful.

mum03 · 05/02/2007 20:37

Sorry to say but I do have a preferance of sex of baby, I am sorry but I do not consider myself to be selfcentred. I know I am truely blessed to have a ds and a dd already, it is a real gift. I really do feel blessed to have two wonderful children already. So why do I have a preference? For a very long time I thought that our family was complete. But, as time has gone on I have changed my mind. I have truely valued having a sister to share with, it is a relationship that is precious and I would love my dd to have a sister to share with. Of course whatever happens I will be happy, and I don't mean to be insensitive to your feelings, but I did feel a little bit "got at" by hearing things about not being right to have a preference.

Rah I also thought of you today with tears in my eyes at work, I have not told anyone here yet but each morning I have to go to work and be with newborn babies. This morning there was a little one, who had come early at 24weeks, so tiny at that age, the mums address is miles away, suggesting that she had come away for the weekend and suddenly gone into prem-labour. I could not help thinking of your Bertie. I find seeing newborn babies each day makes me value how special each new life is. Oh no I am getting chocked up again.

Sorry for this highly emotional post tonight, please forgive me, perhaps it is because it is my birthday today, yet another reminder at how difficult it might be for me to become pg again due to my age. I better end here before I start typing things I will regret

mum03 · 05/02/2007 20:39

Sorry talk about being all me me me, I forgot to say congrats on the great news of the scan showing all ok so far greedy.

mum03 · 05/02/2007 20:41

I am going to the hut as now I do feel self-centred

rahrah1 · 05/02/2007 20:51

do you work in a hospital mum03? It is so amazing that babies at 24 weeks do survive... they really are little miracles....

Sorry to have upset you.... Certainly did not want to make you feel got at... and your not self centred!

Sorry your birthday is upsetting you....You could always go and have some birthday fun?

MrsMcJnr · 05/02/2007 20:53

Mum03, sending you huge, huge hugs. I got my AF on my birthday last cycle and I just wanted to go back to bed and never get up again but you know, as I cut into the cake my Mum had lovingly made me and made my wish, someone somewhere was listening as I got my BFP 29 days later, I'm sending you a birthday wish and I really hope it comes true x

rahrah1 · 05/02/2007 20:58

night all... I am off to try and make a baby.. Just in case my dip in temp is indicating the big O... have to make the most of it!

MUM03... Hope the drugs help that the Hutters are giving you! XX

mum03 · 05/02/2007 21:01

Rah - yes I work in a hospital, I don't spend all day in the maternity nicu or scbu, just the first hour or so of my day, I do tests on babies. The rest of the day I work in the outpatients deptartment. Thank you for your post, I will try to go and enjoy what is left of my birthday, or at least go get some light relief in the hut!

Iwillbepg - I use fertility friend, the free software is very basic, but I signed up for VIP membership just before getting pg with ds, so suspended my membership and have just reactivated it. I find the ff vip membership good, it does allow lots of added data and allow you to compare charts etc, but it is not free. No experience of any other ttc software.

Rah - 35.8 CD16(3rd cycle ttc)
Ready - tbc CD4 (6th cycle ttc)
iwill - tbc CD4 (9th cycle ttc)

I've got even chiller this morning 35.8...whats all that about? Can you get an O dip for 2 days? Still no other ovulation signs and ovulation sticks still negative.

MUM03 - hope your birthday improved. It must be hard work at the hospital, I must admit the neo-natal area that Bertie was in was very scary. All of the babies were extremely small and had to have 1-2-1 care. It was very frightening knowing my son was going in there. But you cope at the time and reflect later I suppose. We found the doctors and nurses so caring in the department were Bertie was....much more than any other dept.. I can remember them being so gutted that we were losing him..some of the nurses were crying You do a great job working with the babies MUM03... I have nothing but praise for anyone that works in that field.
Hope you did not have a hangover from the hut!

Hope everyone else is well...

Well I know I am in the 2ww, but where I have no idea, today the fertility friend program bumped my o-day back by two days. So instead of being 5dpo I am supposedly 3 dpo, I do not enjoy the slow rise charts that keep altering my o-date. Last month my o-date got moved 3 times so a difference of a whole week. Looks like it has started again.

Honeyapple - great that you are slowly getting warmer and into the 2ww

rah - left the hut early and went to bed with hot chocolate, decided that might be a better idea. You are getting far too cold - what is going on? Are you standing outside inthe freezing air before temping each morning!!!!

Greedy - so you thought you had stopped the 2ww, now you have another as you wait for the next scan, it was great to hear that all was as it should be, even if they could not find a cause for the bleeding.

Fettle - do you go to the epu today?

fettle · 06/02/2007 10:26

Morning All

Glad to hear you sounding you more positive, Mum03. Annoying about your software though. I?ve always done it manually myself as I?m sure sometimes the software thinks a bit too logically and our bodies are more laws unto their own!!

Rah, you are chilly aren?t you? When do you get your hypothyroidism results? But Lottie is right, MrsMc was always pretty cold, but it hasn?t stopped her getting a BFP. When are you off to Wales? Is it this week?

Lottie, sorry to hear you are not very happy at the moment ? completely understandable I would say. You?ve got a lot more going on in your life than most people beyond TTC ? take care of yourself.

BBW ? any sign of your new freezer yet, or are you still waiting? In this weather though, who needs a freezer in forces accommodation, just leave things on the windowsill!! (or is your house better insulated that mine!! ? we have no radioators in the loos, freezing!!! Makes you think twice about whether you actually need to do a wee first thing before you are dressed!!)

Ready, how you doing, chuck? Glad to hear you are not a fully paid up member of the hut ? all credit to those who are, but I agree with you, they are way too scary for my liking!! But I feel it is a very good thread to have, as this TTC can be a horrible lonely, sad place, unless you have a safe place to vent your feelings where you are not going to hurt anyone else?s feelings. Its tough staying positive on the outside otherwise.

Minzi, you ok today? Hope you?re feeling as positive as you can do about this coming cycle!

Iwillbe ? welcome to thread ? have I said that already, can?t remember? Hope you find it as supportive as I have.

I?ve got a scan at the EPU on Thursday morning ? wouldn?t see me earlier as I?m still only just 6 weeks. Was feeling very sick, until I told the GP I?m feeling really sick and now I feel fine, but no point worrying until Thursday now. I?ve survived 2 mcs, I?m sure I can survive another one.

Take care all
x

Morning all - can't chat as have my nephew still and running of to collect DS2 from nursery... will catch up sometime later this week...hope all well with all - just trying out 3 DC for last couple of days, v hectic - wondering why I want to go down that route... although as they say different when they are all your own!

mum03 · 06/02/2007 11:22

Fettle - Hi thanks I am feeling a bit more positive today, {{{{hugs}}}}, I know it is so difficult to remain positive while you are waiting. But try to remember that morning sickness comes and goes in most people, so don't let that worry you, and instead think about that ultra positive test you did yesterday. Waiting is so difficult, i really hope that when you get the scan that you get to see a heartbeat too.

Lottie - hope you feel better soon.
