Morning - definitely in too good a mood this morning for the hut - not sure why the good mood, but not going to question it while it lasts!!

Anyway, 37.83 this morning, so up a little from yesterday. 11 DPO (well 11 days high temps - when do you count ov from, the day before temp rise or the day of temp rise?)

Night-night rahrah!

Morning all, seems I was the last to bed and the first here this morning. Was it something I said to make you all go to bed? Greedy - you have been in my thoughts. Hope things are ok. Will you go to doc's today to get blood test for hcg level? Just remember not all bleeding in pg means anything is wrong. Take care of yourself today.

Morning all - sorry about AF Lottie

Greedy I hope you are ok this morning, but thinking about you lots.

My temp was still way up this morning, which is good sign, but GP won't send me for a reassurance scan. But she is booking me in for a dating scan around 12 weeks, which you don't normally get round here. She is going to put that I've had 2 miscarriages, so maybe I'll get a scan earlier, but I'm just scared I'm going to spend the next few weeks running to the loo to check all the time and not relax and enjoy this pregnancy until I've at least seen a heartbeat.

It was a bit of the shock when she asked me if this was my 4th pregnancy then - I hadn't really thought of it like that, but technically she's right.

Oh, why is having babies so hard?

I hope everyone else Honey, Rah, Ready, Mum03 is doing ok today?

Minxi - welcome to the thread! I'm clinging onto this thread for moral support still!

Take care all
x

Came back to check how greedy is, but she has not come on yet.

Fettle - great to hear that the temps are still up. I know what you mean about wanting to see the little heartbeat, I was so fortunate with my two pg, I had a suspected ectopic with the first and "threatened miscarriage" with the second and got scanned with both. I don't know what I will be like if I don't get an early scan this time! I am trying to think positive about getting pg. dh is away and I have all the o-signs so, guess he won't have a choice when I see him wednesday, but to submit to my seduction LOL. I hope that you don't have any more spotting and that you can start to relax before the scan, even if it is difficult. It seems sad to miss out on the excitement of the first weeks due to fear. Please stay here with us until you are ready, to move on.

Blimey, I missed an evening on here didn't I. I think I am glad I did as I would have been a wreck, and no use to Greedy at all. Oh, flower, I am so sorry to hear what you are going through. Hope that it's just one of those things and everything works out ok. Thinking of you.

Fettle, Glad your temps are up still... will you keep temping do you think??

Well, my temp is steady again today. But I have had the tell-tale aches, so pretty sure AF will arrive on time. Bitch. So once again, no chance to show off how much willpower I have and wait a week to test!!

Hope everyone is ok??

fettle · 29/01/2007 13:26

Where's Greedy? I'm worried about her - has anyone see her?

OP posts:
greedyforbabies · 29/01/2007 13:30

well, had more blood and clots this morning. tested again, dont know why cos i know its stupid really. bfp but not really dark like i think it should be by now. dr said it takes 2-4 wks for hcg to leave your body after a mc anyway, so there wasn't much point in testing cos it doesn't tell me anything, but i still did. went to the EPU this morning on gps advice. had blood taken to see if my levels are high enough for them to do a scan. if they do one too early they wont see anything anyway. i have to ring them in about half an hour to see what my levels are. if they are high enough for a scan (which i very much doubt) then i will have one tomorrow, but if not i have to go back on wed to have my levels checked again. if they have doubled by then, thats good..............if they haven't then its not good!

i dont like the waiting! what a pain in the arse ( or stomach in my case!)

greedyforbabies · 29/01/2007 13:34

thanks for worrying fettle! i am kind of assuming that my pregnancy didn't 'take' now but i guess until i know for sure i will still be secretly hoping.
its so annoying cos i never expected to fall this month anyway, so if i hadn't of tested i would never of known and i would have just assumed af was a few days late. although my temp was still up this morning, so i think i would have tested today anyway. its just so annoying to go through this, as you well know!

fettle · 29/01/2007 13:43

Aw Greedy - it might still be ok - some girls on here say they lost clots and it was all ok.

Glad you're EPU saw you - I'm still hanging in limbo. Don't feel very sick today and my boobs definitely not as sore, but they were agony last night, so I've resorted to a comfortable bra today (Very unsexy!!!!) so that might explain that.

I do hope it is good news for you - let us know what your levels are like! I hate the waiting on your behalf too!!! I felt a bit like you last cycle though, as I was convinced we'd bd-ed too long before temp rise, but then found out I was pg, that it was all a bit of a shock, for it all to go wrong only 3 days later, that I wished I just hadn't tested. however, I did and you did and fingers crossed it will be all ok.

i have been thinking how similar it all seems to your last cycle! don't mind too much if it means i get another bfp as quick as you did!

Hi everyone

Sorry to hear you are still getting some bleeding greedyforbabies.... I am glad the EPU are helping..least you should get a relatively quick resolution... I know how horrible it is to wait.. It just the worst when you need to know something so desperately... Like Fettle said quite a few of us have had heavy bleeding and the baby is still then when would of defo thought they would not be.

Was due yesterday but this morning have had about a mm of slightly coloured cm so think thats it for me - af will probably be on her way despite, temperature going up - actually took it at 5am (DH was up to go to heathrow)and it was 36.77 so then I took it at 7am when I normally do and it was higher?! But that could be the red wine I drank to celebrate my birthday!!
