I think I will see my GP if it doesn't turn in to proper bleeding. Hopefully it is just everything finally clearing out. There's no bad smell so hopefully no infection although I did have some sharp pain when AF was due a week ago.

Sorry that you're bleeding Kate but I am glad it's given you some relief and ended your limbo

Sorry to hear that Kate but glad the limbo wait is over for you...and good luck with ttc again!
Hope you get sorted soon too IC.

Brenna24 · 31/05/2016 15:21

So sorry you are bleeding Kate but glad you are able to start moving on. Fingers crossed it drops quickly. Flowers

mrsunsure the opk pattern you described on clomid is the pattern i had the month i concieved (first month of opks). It went from nothing, to unmistakeably dark for two days, then nothing again. Also coincided with EWCM.

Hoping to see the same again over the next two weeks- fx!!!

I'm hoping for you too. Hope you've got a tough little bean getting cosy in there as we speak Smile

5tardusty · 31/05/2016 17:31

Just took this OPK which, while not being the darkest i've ever had is dark by my standards. No ewcm either.

Luckily i will be able to dtd tonight just in case but do you think that i should stop taking EPO now? I'll monitor temps (slight dip this morning) and will continue opks also, but just not sure about the EPO?

When is the best time to take EPO out of interest and what does it do?

5tardusty · 31/05/2016 18:15

That all sounds textbook mrsunsure. I really hope you get a sticky bfp!

allium apparently youre supposed to take it up until ovulation. It's meant to help regulate hormones and increase cervical mucous, but it also softens the cervix i believe so youre not advised to take it if you think you could be pregnant. I've only been taking it for about ten days so not sure if it's doing anything!!

Here are my OPKs for December Mrs

Hi all, hope you are all ok. I had a pretty horrendous weekend from a mental point of view, felt quite bogged down, stressed and sad. Feeling a little better today although physically I feel exhausted. Trying to look onwards and upwards.

Brenna that sounds like such a wonderful weekend away and your DH is a true Angel! So sweet.

Hopeful sorry to hear it's the beginning of the end but here's to our next pregnancy! Smile

Congrats to the BFP's.

Sorry if I've missed more updates.

What's EPO exactly?

Oh no purple I am sorry to hear you have had a tough weekend. (I still want to call you cheeky!!). Was there anything in particular that triggered it? What is your plan? Are you still bleeding? Are you doing to start TTC straight away? At least we are in this together! I am sorry you have been down though. I had a massive wobble this morning but managed to pull myself together for work.

I have a scan on Friday originally booked to check the pregnancy but I imagine they will still want to see me to double check it wasn't ectopic and that is all miscarrying normally. As my levels have been low, I am hoping they'll drop quite quickly. I haven't had a MC at 6 weeks before. Does anyone have any experience? How long does the bleeding typically last for?

I am seeing my consultant a week tomorrow so I will discuss with him next steps. I think we may give it one more go naturally before turning to IVF or other options. I don't think pregnancy ever had a chance so I am keen to give it one more go.

Sorry if I have missed updates. Will look back now.

IC I hope you are ok tonight xx

5tardusty · 31/05/2016 21:32

Hi hopeful, u sound cheerful given the circumstances which Is great! I think the physical exhaustion triggered it as I just felt incredibly rubbish. Still bleeding but it's the tail end now thankfully and just dark brown when wiping. Can't wait for it to finish completely and have a shower and feel fresh! And then get back to having sex. Really missed the intimacy with DH. Have decided to not go back to contraception and just see what happens. Should get my first period about 5 weeks after miscarriage if I base it on last time. I was 50 50 about waiting for a period, last time I waited for two but the miscarriage was at 12 weeks whereas this is only 6 so I don't think waiting will really make much difference. I discussed it with the midwife as well and she said they often see women who fall preg straight after miscarriage and go on to have successful pregnancies. She said if I felt OK then it was absolutely fine.

FYI you asked how a miscarriage at 6 weeks is and in my experience i had a lot of pretty severe cramping for the first few days, defo needed painkillers and hot water bottle. Bleeding was heavier than my usual period which I think it's fairly heavy but not unmanageable. As you know I managed to work throughout but then came crashing down on the weekend with the exhaustion which just overwhelmed me.

It's ashame your in a similar situation but it's nice to know there is someone else going through the same thing at roughly the same time. We'll get our BFP's soon!!

Bless you Mrs, I think everyone that goes through miscarriage is incredibly strong because you really have to find your inner strength to get through it

I agree with allowing yourself to be sad. That's exactly why I stayed in bed all day Saturday and just had a few cries. It felt rubbish but I needed to go through that in order to feel better yesterday.

Has anyone tried pre seed? I bought it prior to miscarriage but never got around to using it. I think I might read the book about it all starting with the egg.. Will download on kindle.

Brenna24 · 31/05/2016 22:42

CD 16 was my positive. I got a temp dip CD 17 and ovulated that day. I always seem to have two dark days, then a temp dip and only ovulate the day after my last positive.

Today I am exhausted and feel really down and sad. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

BertieBotts · 31/05/2016 22:46

I agree with purple, mine was similar at 6 weeks, I don't know if my beginning cramps were strong though or just that I was very aware of them. Also it was heavier than my usual period but my usual periods are very light so it was just like a period that I would have had pre DC1.

But yes to exhaustion afterwards. I had put mine down to hormones but then recently saw several women talk about this. Also, whether it's related or not I don't know but I became really clumsy! I tripped a few days later and grazed all my hands and knees. Then I scraped my leg getting into bed so hard it scabbed and still hasn't healed Confused and finally I burnt my hands on an oven try by trying to pick it up while it was still hot! I don't know what was wrong with me, I'm not normally accident prone.

I had a normal period afterwards exactly one month later.

purpleviolet1 · 31/05/2016 22:51

Bertie, the exhaustion for me feels like I'm nutritionally drained. Like all the vitamins and minerals in my body have been zapped. I've bought some floradix though and started my vitamins again.

I think the mental stress perhaps caused me to be quite forgetful - they say when cortisol is running high the brain forgets things and therefore can result in clumsiness / not really thinking about what your doing when your doing it.

Hope your hand and other injuries heal!

BertieBotts · 31/05/2016 23:11

Ah that makes sense, I'm often tired like that because I eat terribly. So I probably didn't notice it as being our of the ordinary.

The other thing I noticed was dreams. Pregnancy dreams were really vivid but normal dreams. Pleasant or mundane. Post MC hormone dreams for me were awful. Both vivid and distressing. But that's probably just me.

purpleviolet1 · 31/05/2016 23:21

On that note I had a dream about my ex last night.. Can't remember the details now but in the dream I felt like I was hurting so bad knowing he was my ex and not my current partner.. It was all mixed up and can't remember it properly now but I just woke up thinking I can't share that dream with dh! Blush

Sorry to read your update kate but like the others said, glad you're moving forwards out of limbo.

Fingers crossed for you mrs unsure and other ladies in tww.

I'm now about 5 weeks pregnant and this week's test line was dark enough to match the purple control line. Hoping purple will be the colour of strength for my little bean and reassured the line had got darker. In my previous pregnancies my lines stayed the same or got fainter rather than getting darker so have some hope that all my pregnancies don't go the same way now.
