I'm fine. My heads all a bit messed up. Feeling very confused.

Don't give in now Ducky. I shouldn't say that really because it is up to you and only you know what it's really like, but the way he has reacted is awful. And this is a man you never kiss, don't have sex with and who is very mean with money.

Don't feel sorry for him. Look after you, DS and the dog.

We have been out for lunch and a walk. It has been sunny and warm. DS has been running on the beach and playing with DH and a ball. They had a lovely time.

I have made DH's favourite tea while he is putting DS to bed and reading to him. He's been fantastic this weekend (DH not DS - he was a horror yesterday).

I am not working this week which is a nice treat. Going to meet PIL in Northallerton for lunch at Betty's and a wander round. It is half way between us.

Lulu is right ducky, just focus on u, DS and the dog. Especially DS, as long as he knows he's got u he's fine :) and when u realise how better off u are and start to relax and be happy DS will see this and be so much happier himself in the long run :)

My DS1's behaviour and improved dramatically since being on my own. And the love he shows me now is great! :) he's a mummy's boy.

Sounds like a lovely day uve all had Lulu. And that's lovely u have a week off too! Hope I enjoy it :)

I went swimming yesterday with my mom and brother. DS2's first time swimming! They loved it lol but DS1 has been feeling off all day today and keeps falling asleep so I'm not sure if he's caught something Confused

Your DS1 has been poorly a lot recently Cupcake. Is he ok? Do you think he is run down?

I think DS would be terrible if we were not with DH. They just love each other to bits. I think he would miss DH more than he would miss me TBH. And DH would miss him more than he would miss me. Smile

We are discussing TTC again- humming and hawwing. Probably wait a while.

He is Lulu, I don't understand why he's always poorly. I feel so awful for him :(
I've mentioned it to the doctors but they just tell me it's because he goes to nursery.

Ur DH has been very involved with DS ever since he was born which is nice :) ur DH has his head screwed on!
When do u think u would want to try for a 2nd baby?

I want a dh like yours one day lulu Smile sounds like you had a lovely day.

Poor ds cupcake, my ds is the same, he has a cold at the mo.

Ds has been very attached to me since it all happened, he usually is but even more so. It's lovely though. He keeps hugging and kissing me constantly. I just hope he's ok.

I know DH is a good'un but as I have said to you both before, I kissed lots of bastard frogs, believe me and I know if I had met him 10 years earlier he would have been one of them.

He didn't grow up until his late 20s and spent many a happy year footballing, womanising and drinking until he was about 26 when he started to get a bit of focus- or so he and his family have told me.

You'll meet a good one Ducky, you both will. You are much younger than me. I could be Cupcake's mum. I am 37 this year.

Perhaps start TTC in the summer Cupcake. DH is keen to start now but then we want DS to have us to himself for a bit. If I get pregnant around Christmas (thinking it might take a but longer this time) DS would have next summer to himself and the baby would be born next autumn when he was almost 3. Although we would be 38 then so that would probably be an end to babies. DH is still on the idea of 3.

Hi all. Sorry to hear you have been having problems ducky but I am sure that now you have done what you wanted to all this time things will only get better for you and ds. I know it must be hard right now but in a few months you will no doubt be in a much better place. It's not nice to wonder what mood your partner will be in or if they are going to help. Once you know you're doing it on your own you can just get on with it rather than resenting his lack of involvement from the start. Fingers crossed he just stays with his mum, I bet she's happy now!
I can't believe how fast time flies. My ds3 is already 2 months old!

I know what you mean cupcake he doesn't even feel like a newborn, he's already got his own little personality and because we are not having any more just want to cherish all the precious little baby times. Funny how a second and third child slots so easily into family life.

Oh I know what u mean sunny! I don't feel like I've got 2 kids cuz it's just like having one as he's just fitted into everyday life so well!

I've found a house I really like, it's in the catchment area for the school I want DS to go to and it's very close to his nursery! It's also managed by the landlord so there is no admin fees at all!! Which is brilliant for me. As they are expensive! Only problem is its £200 more a month than the house I have now :/ I could go £100 more but £200 is pushing it. I'm applying for housing benefit as I can get some of that but don't know how much. If I got £100 a month housing benefit then I'd be able to get it. But no idea what I'll get!
So I rele dunno what to do! Cuz the house will get snapped up quick if I don't decide Confused

Gosh it's flown by! Will you be/are you doing blw cupcake? Or purees? Or both? About the housing benefit, go onto entitled2 (I think), or turn2us websites. They have benefit calculators and will tell you how much hb you would be entitled to. I have been trying to figure out what I would get: I found a flat I could go to temporary that's by family and the right price, I rang them but it had been taken this morning.

Lulu, ttc again, how exciting. Hopefully you will get pg quick again this time. Are you bothered about having a girl or boy? How's the job going?

Hi sunny! Hope your gettin on ok and managing to get some sleep Grin

I'm going to view that house on Friday also hoping it's nice as I'm ready for a fresh house no memories in it!

Ducky I think I'll start with puréed veg then once he's used to it then start blw :)
I hope u find a place soon ducky. what are u doing atm ? Are u at dm's?
Hope ur okay

I'm so tired! DS1 was up most the night just crying and moaning! He's been very whiny today as well.
U can see where DS2's tooth is coming through also! Can't believe he's 4months and getting a tooth!! DS was 1 before he got his 1st Grin

Hi guys. I would just like to say that, like Sunny, I have been reading this thread for a long time! I started TTC around the April 2014 and got pregnant and miscarried around the similar time that Tori did. I was also TTC a lot of the same time you were Cupcake. And now my DD is a similar age to your DS2- she is 16 weeks. I have loved keeping up to date with your journeys. Lulu you seem to be really chilled out with your DS and he's getting on really well and you have a lovely little family! Ducky I really feel for you with DSs sleep problems, I am struggling with naps for DD but thankfully she is currently sleeping ok at night. I don't know how you do it without your DHs support. And Cupcake you seem like superwoman looking after two by yourself! I couldn't!! Just wanted to say Hi Smile

Hi Dweeby! It's nice to hear off people who have been following our thread :)
Congrats on ur DD! Do u just have the one DC?
Haha thank u! Tho I don't feel like superwoman at all 😂 Im like that crazy cat lady but instead of cats it's kids! Grin

Well DS1 took a turn today at nursery. They said he's been drowsy and has a high temp and kept falling asleep sitting up!
Got him home and he was wheezing so took him docs and he's got a bad chest infection :( he's on antibiotics and been told to drink orange juice as he's not been in like 4 days!! My poor boy :(
DS2 also had his jabs but he's fine Grin

Aw sorry to hear your DS1 isn't well. Must be so scary when they aren't well, thankfully DD hasn't been unwell yet. Yep DD is my only child. Can't imagine having another one at the moment! DD has her 4 month injections next week. She didn't sleep well after her first set but was fine after the second. Was the third set more like the first or second for your DS? It's the meningitis jab that causes problems isn't it but I'm glad she is having it after all the stuff that has been on the news.

Thanks Dweeby. It never crosses my mind anyone else reads this. Smile

I have had a bit of a day today. I have developed patches of really itchy, dry skin over the last week- on my ankles arms, stomach and boobs. DH says I am like a lizard. I was going to the Dr's today and DS woke up with a croakey voice this morning so we have both been. He has a kind of laryngitis- it is bizarre, he sort of opens his mouth and does almost silent noises. Even crying is almost silent and laughing - just little squeaky. croaks. No treatment, it will go away apparently. Caused by a virus. He doesn't seem bothered and it is quite funny. Poor little DS. And I have eczema! And cream for it.
Two horrible children in the waiting room- loud and thoughtless, ignored their mum and she couldn't be bothered with them. I was getting really cross. DS was looking at them like Hmm as he sat on my knee with his Oleg grub.

It is scary sometimes Dweeby, especially when his breathing is affected :( bless him.
He's just had another dose and has fallen asleep now.
This last set are the meningitis ones, the ones that cause a fever. DS2 has been fine with these, they haven't affected him at all so I'm sure ur DD will be fine :)

Oh bless u both Lulu!! :( I hope DS feels better soon. And I hope ur eczema clears up Lulu.
Amoxicillin is what DS1 is on atm! I'm serverly allergic to it Grin

DH and I are going out tonight with some friends for drinks and dinner. I was going to dress up a bit.It is ages since I made an effort, but it is freezing up here. Need to look reasonable but warm. Have decided on short navy blue skirt and matching suede boots, tights and navy chiffon shirt that cost me a fortune 10 years ago and I still love it. Have tried it on and it looks nice. I haven't been thin enough to wear it for about 5 years.

DS is being babysat by SIL.

I am starving! Can't wait to eat.

Hope u have a lovely time lulu!! :)

I'm sat in bed DS1 is also in my bed for another night!! I just can't get him to sleep in his bed I've no idea why :(

I saw that house yesterday and I loved it so so so much!! It was perfect! :( I asked if he would lower the rent and he said if the person who is viewing today doesn't want it then yes he'll lower it and I can have it. He called me and said they wanted it but if I go with the price he asked I can have it. I said no cuz it's just a bit too high :( so disappointed !

Don't give in to him Cupcake. I think he might ring back and say you can have it after all. Otherwise, why bother ringng you at all?

We had a lovely time last night. The food was delicious. I had tapenade and grilled peppers and artichoke starter with bread. Then a rigatoni carbonara and green salad and lovely coffee and amaretto and chocolates. We walked home along the sea front when we left our friends- 3 miles and it was freezing (it started to snow half way back) and the sea was really rough but the cold and the walk will have burned the calories of the meal off. We only saw one other person.

DH is making breakfast with DS- mother's day. There is a surprise apparently We'll see what it is Smile It wouldn't be the flowers I watched him put in a bucket of water in the garage yesterday Grin I have already had kisses and cuddles from DS- and croaks. Still has hardly any voice. Am cuddled up with the cats.
