Fingers crossed for everyone!!

Beansprout - hope you are feeling happier today - this is the best 2ww ever, lots to think about other than TTC!

Eaglebird · 23/12/2006 19:17

Hello ladies.
When will everyone be finding out if they've got a bfp this month?
My AF isn't due 'til 16th Jan, so I have a long wait. Hopefully lots of New year bd before then, though .
Good luck, and hope this month is lucky for all x

sparklytreeangel · 24/12/2006 19:05

sparklytreeangel · 24/12/2006 20:25

Hijacking the thread but there's nobody about MrsMC Junior and Chooster or anyone where is best to visit in glasgow centre for a day?

beansprout · 24/12/2006 21:18

Sorry to hear about AF sparkly and honey, but welcome to the January thread, and best of luck to you both

Happy Christmas everyone!!

MrsBeee · 25/12/2006 21:11

Hello can I join in too! This is TTC cycle no1 apart from a few 'careless' nights which haven't resulted in anything so far! I already have DS who is 2.5 and was very lucky to have almost instant results last time around, so fingers crossed we are fortunate this month ... My AF is due 11-ish Jan which seems like AGES away !

Wishing lots of babydust to everyone on this thread !!!

JoAndTheBoys · 26/12/2006 23:25

Hi, I'd like to join too please!

I'm 28, married with 2 boys aged 3 and 4, and after being broody for number 3 since ds2 was tiny, it's finally 'the right time' to start trying!

I came off depo last year and my cycles, although quite short (around 24/25 days) were fairly regular once my periods started again. Then I went on the new 12 hour mini pill and I had a 56 day cycle this time (came off the pill after my period was two weeks late as I'm paranoid about my cycles being back to normal so we can try for a baby).

Af finished a couple of days ago and it feels really strange (and quite exciting 'taking a risk' again not being on any contraception!

Quite casual about trying at the moment, we had originally agreed to wait until about March-ish but as the pill was buggering up my periods again I came off it earlier than planned, so we're just seeing what happens.

Ds1 was conceived straightaway on my first cycle, and ds2 was a 'happy accident', conceived after we took a risk at my most fertile time and I (ineffectively!) took the morning after pill - he was determined he was staying put!
So I think I'll be a bit shocked (and probably a bit disappointed) if I don't conceive this month with my history, although I do have my doubts about my fertility after being on Depo.

Anyway, good luck to everyone else who's trying this month, fingers crossed for us all!

Hello everyone, especially new people on the thread, hope you have all had a happy and sexy Christmas. Persona tells me that it is egg day today so I am intending to extend the Christmas festivities a little longer.

Ready · 28/12/2006 11:35

Sparklytreeangel - Did you find somewhere cool to visit in Glasgow??(were there any fertility statues??) Sorry to hear about AF, hope that you are ok!? ((HUGS)) Keep your chin up, here's to a BFP this month!

Honeyapple - Sorry about AF chick! I hope us January gals can offer plenty of support and giggles! I hope that you enjoyed all that Yuletide Boozing??

Eaglebird - How are you doing? In that fertile phase right about now huh?? Fingers crossed for you!

Greedy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where are you!?!?!?!?!?!?! Not much to say cos you are not fertile yet? Well WHEN will you be fertile?? Cos it doesn't feel right without you on here and of course teasing people

Nettee - Did you get your answers about the persona?? I think there is a thread on here somewhere dedicated to Persona...?? Good luck.

JoAndTheBoys - Welcome!! Fingers crossed for you, try not to get too stressed about conceiving first month. Easier said than done I know, cos it is natural to stress (I know only too well!) but there's no point putting all that pressure on yourself!! Just enjoy yourself!

Beansprout - Envious of your "hard day with 2yo DS" I cannot wait (although I am sure it will be hard work a lot of the time!!) and you will definitely cope with #2!!!

MrsBeee - Welcome to January, fingers crossed for you, and as I said to JoAndTheBoys, don't put unnecessary pressure on yourself, just enjoy it all!!

Everyone else - hope you all had wonderful Yuletide Celebrations!! Here's to a Super Fertile 2007!!!! I want to be eating for 2 legitimately asap

Shall we do a roll call?????

Natty1806 · 28/12/2006 12:38

Hi everyone.

Welcome to the newbies.

Update on me AF due 7th Jan 07 currently 4 DPO no positive vibes about this cycle only managed 1 bd the day before Ov and i wonder why i am not pregnant yet. he he

Anyone else feeling and looking as fat as a house? Since end of Oct i have put on ½ a stone. Slimming world here i come......

Hope everyone had a fab christmas. xx

Ready · 28/12/2006 12:58

Natty - I am with you on the weight thing!! I am chubbier than I really ought to be, so I really should do something about it!! But all I want to do is get pg and put on even more lbs!! But I am going to try to be good, now that the indulgences of Yule are over!! The dilemma is what to do with all the left over snacks that are still sitting in the cupboard whispering "Eat me!"

OP posts:
Natty1806 · 28/12/2006 13:13

Not really got that problem as i did not buy any christmassy snacks as i went to parents houses over Christmas, but Oh parents brought us a tin of quality street, which i don't even like that much but am eating anyway!

Will set up a new thread for us all to help each other in the New year.

You are due the day before me so fingers crossed for BFP's for us in the new year.

beansprout · 28/12/2006 15:36

Not sure when I am due. Today is CD25 and cycles have varied from 25 to 32 days. Obviously the longer I wait the better, so am not even thinking of testing until the new year. Last month was the 32 day cycle so that's another reason for hanging on for a bit. Fantastic - what could be better than a 2ww? A 3ww!! Hurrah!!

Hope you are all having a good day.

Nettee · 28/12/2006 15:37

I don't think there really is an answer about persona - I was just having a moan - and it did want a test on the day that I ovulated so that is ok. Feel like we have done all we can before the 2WW - so exciting

AF due 10th Jan so I'm not long behind you Natty and Ready - Lets hope for a hat trick.

I too have put on the pounds over Christmas but then I think to myself it would be unhealty to diet if I am TTC - any excuse for more christmas chocolate!

decorativeD2Bmum · 28/12/2006 16:05

hiya girls

hope everyone had a good xmas i weighed myself this morning and havnt put on a single pound yet...although in the new year i am aiming to shed atleast 1 stone but hoping the bfp fairy pays me a visit and i can delay weighloss for a year hehe

i have been using my saliva ovulation scope and had strong fearning yesterday but didnt manage SEX so did it this morning and had a negative result on the saliva microscope so looking poor for this month ;0(
today is cd17 and i only have a 25/26 day cycle so atleast i have discovered my lp is not long enough for implantation so gonna go for vit b6 next month see if thaT helps.

good new year to all x

Natty1806 · 28/12/2006 17:43

Yeah lets hope it is a hatrick

Natty1806 · 28/12/2006 17:43

Or everyone on the thread would be even better but am sure there are better odds to win the lottery than that happening. x

Nettee · 28/12/2006 18:23

What is the chance of conceiving each month if you BD at the right time and haven't got a fertility problem?

beansprout · 28/12/2006 18:26

On average about one in four I think but that will vary according to various factors, age being one of them.

Nettee · 28/12/2006 18:47

I have done a count up and I think there are 23 of us hoping for a BFP in January and so around 8 should get one on average. Don't know whether that sounds like a lot or a few. fingers crossed for an extra lucky thread and lets see if we can at least make double figures
