Hi all!
Me and hubby are 23, I've been off the pill since we've been married so coming up 2 years and we've been TTC for a little less than a year. I tend to go by my cm for ovulation as I have a 33day cycle, we do have regular sex through the out month too. I'm also taking folic acid. It's really starting to get to me that it's taking so long, everyone my age seems to have first time luck or getting pregnant unplanned.
Anyone have and advice or stories? I'd love to hear!!

The only person we've told is my husbands boss so it's nice to have someone to bring you back to earth ha!
I had a tiny bit today but not as much as the past couple of days which is good :)
I am super tired too! I've actually only slept at night the past couple of nights, I'm glad I haven't been alone! I wonder why even though we're so tired it's hard to sleep at night!

Aw I wish I could blurt it out to people, I've come close a few times! We're telling family in 2 weeks and I'm kinda nervous!
It's maybe just the little bean getting well and truly buried in with any luck.
I wonder about the sleep too, I'm exhausted! But come bedtime I can't sleep at all, I'm sick of tossing and turning and going to the loo every 2 seconds!
I'm looking dreads to my midwife appointment tomorrow, even though I won't get a scan it'll be nice to be able to talk to her about being pregnant, rather than keeping schtum!

BloomingR0sey · 02/02/2016 21:53

awh I know I'm the same ha. It's so hard isn't it!
I get like restless legs which make me not sleep hopefully sleep with come soon for you!
Ooh excitingM you'll have to let me know how it goes!

I've heard a lot of people say they get restless legs, what actually is it?
I'm kinda excited about the appt, apparently the first one is really boring but for me it means it's real! Strange to think by next Christmas I'll hopefully have a little 3 month old baby! And you'll have a little 2 month old too!
Do you think you'll find out the sex when you have your 20 week scan?

BloomingR0sey · 03/02/2016 17:39

I can't describe it really just like a terrible deep ache and they need to constantly be stretched or moved.
It's probably just A bunch of info chucked at us!
I know! So strange but lovely!!
Yea ill defo find out! Would you?

OP posts:
bailey23 · 04/02/2016 07:34

That doesn't sound too pleasant, I'm god I don't have that (yet)!
It's a loooot of questions but you get good info too
And yep, I will definitely find out, I couldn't wait in suspense for too long!

bailey23 · 04/02/2016 07:34

Glad not God, silly phone! Haha

BloomingR0sey · 04/02/2016 11:10

How did the appointment go?
Oh god, what kind of questions ha!
I don't know how people don't find out! How do you properly prepare hahaa!

OP posts:

Yeah it was really good, lots to take in though - questions like what's your husband like, where do you work, do you have a smoke alarm at home, who else lives in the house, do you have any responsibilities that have a dramatic effect on you etc! There's so many of them!
I don't know either, I keep buying odd bits that I see but I'm so paranoid someone is going to catch me!
I don't know what's wrong today but I have bad pains and I feel uncomfortable and sore, hopefully I'll start feeling better this afternoon!

BloomingR0sey · 04/02/2016 15:33

Wow so some super random questions!
Ha bless you! Such a funny situation where you are so excited but have to hide it!
Oh no :( maybe it's just everything stretching?

OP posts:
bailey23 · 05/02/2016 07:32

I think it maybe was, it went away again so I think everything's okay. How's your spotting? Are you excited for your appointment?
I know, it's really strange and it almost doesn't feel quite real either, I can't see it or feel it - I just really hope I'm not just imagining everything!

BloomingR0sey · 05/02/2016 14:50

Ah good :) I havnt had any more spotting thankfully :)
I'm actually quite anxious for my appointment, don't know why!
I feel the same! It's like a dream ha!

What kind of pain did you have the other day Bailey?
I'm having a dull warm ache on my side, I've convinced myself it's too high and it's an ectopic!

OP posts:
bailey23 · 07/02/2016 09:09

I don't really know how to describe it, but it was in my tummy sort of area, a bit like the pain you get when you pull a muscle and then everything around it goes tense too - have you tried a bath to relax you? And then if it's still just as bad ring the doctors

BloomingR0sey · 09/02/2016 21:06

So sorry I havnt replied sooner!
You having anymore symptoms?
I'm still having that pain on and off, hasn't been painful though so I'll just tell my midwife at my appointment tomorrow :) hopefully she can get me in for an early scan as soon as
Hope you're well!

The only things I have are sore boobs, severe tiredness and I've started getting sciatica (sp?) at nights.
Is it today that you go for your midwife appointment? If so, good luck and enjoy it all - it may not seem like a lot but you finally get to talk about it and get excited (or nervous for the upcoming months!)

BloomingR0sey · 11/02/2016 11:56

Oh no :( bless you! Sciatica is awful I've heard!!
So yesterday I had my appointment, thankfully had the loveliest midwife! And because of the pain she booked me for an early scan this morning and booked to finish the appointment for 10 weeks.
My scan showed I was at 5+5 weeks and there was a sack with a yolk which is positive but have another scan in 2weeks to check
It's still growing so fingers crossed everything is fine!!!

Hi girls!
How is everyone? I got my BFP late last month, I'm 5 weeks today! This seemed to be a lucky thread.

DippyHippy2016 · 14/03/2016 21:32

Hi waves

Just read the whole thread. What an emotional roller coaster.

Huge congratulations to Bailey and Bloom!

This does seem to be a lucky thread and I not only want an update on your pregnancies and the others ttc, but also for some of that luck to rub off on me.

I'll be POAS this Friday.

Bit of a long 'un but DP and I met at Uni. We work, have bought and moved houses, have a cat and thought we were done after having two wonderful pregnancies and beautiful births of two boys. DP was so sure that he wanted the snip and so I gave him the go ahead. The finality of it made me realise that I really wasn't done. Obviously I had this realisation too bloody late and DP wouldn't have gone through with it if we had any doubts before. We have ttc straight after (while there are still swimmers in his tubes)

It takes a few months for DP to "empty his tubes" I believe, so I only have a short window to fall pregnant.

We've been DTD fairly often and focused on the time before ovulation mainly. I was unusually super tired and had dull lower back pain and was nauseous around the time I must have ovulated.

Any thoughts or general comments and support would be great right now. Keeping this all close to my chest as I don't want to get the hopes up of grandparents or have a barrage of questions from friends (who don't have children yet).

DippyHippy2016 · 14/03/2016 21:34

And congratulations to Katie too! How are you finding the early days?
