Hi all!
Me and hubby are 23, I've been off the pill since we've been married so coming up 2 years and we've been TTC for a little less than a year. I tend to go by my cm for ovulation as I have a 33day cycle, we do have regular sex through the out month too. I'm also taking folic acid. It's really starting to get to me that it's taking so long, everyone my age seems to have first time luck or getting pregnant unplanned.
Anyone have and advice or stories? I'd love to hear!!

Welllllllll, I'm pregnant Smile. After I was trying to convince myself that AF would start any minute (I was even carrying a tampon round with me in my pocket at work, just in case!)
So I hope all you lovely ladies your your positives soon too.

Thanks blooming! I don't think it's quite settled in yet that I am, but hopefully it will soon. I really hope you get some good news shortly too, it'll be nice if this turns out to be s lucky thread!

BloomingR0sey · 16/01/2016 22:10

I bet it hasn't! So excited for you! You told your other half?
I'm just in the dreaded wait now! Me too!m you've made me so excited it could really happen!!
Did you have any other symptoms or did it just feel like normal AF was coming?

OP posts:
bailey23 · 17/01/2016 09:20

Yeah, I walked downstairs with the test (that i sent him to buy the day before) and was like "welllllll" and then showed him it. He's taken it well, I thought he'd go into panic mode but so far so good!
Apart from missing my period and having sore boobs, I haven't had any symptoms at all. I'm bloated too but that's probably not a symptom of pregnancy, just a sign I need to eat very healthy now.
How long have you got left to wait? Have you stick with the preseed this month?

BloomingR0sey · 17/01/2016 11:26

Awh! Probably help it sink in that he's not panicking ha!
Isn't that so funny that when we're trying we look for all these crazy signs and symptoms but when you are pregnant you don't really feel different!
AF expected on the 27th, weved been dtd every other day and used it a few times. I'm now trying not to get my hopes up and just wait :(

OP posts:
bailey23 · 17/01/2016 18:47

I know, it's so weird! I was convinced I'd missed the boat seeing as we hardly DTD last month, but turns out I was wrong!

Are you taking any vitamins or anything? I feel your pain with the whole waiting around, I wish there was some way of making that two weeks go faster for you

BloomingR0sey · 17/01/2016 19:19

Awh it was just meant to be! What a nice way to start the year! Got a plan for telling family?
I'm taking folic acid with vitamin d and I have a vitamin c tablet every day too but I'm not taking a multi vitamin.
Awh thank you! I'm just trying to keep busy ha!

We're going on holiday soon and staying with family so I'll have to tell all the family here before we go, so I think I'll only be about 10 weeks then.
I was taking the seven seas conception tablets, it was easier for me to only have to take one a day, and they have the days on like contraceptive pills so you can't forget (like I often did!)

BloomingR0sey · 18/01/2016 17:55

Awh nice! A holiday and a baby you lucky thing haha!! I might see about them! Every little helps I guess!
I feel really bad wishing days away 😩

I think I'm about 4-6 DPO and I've had cramps for 3 days really badly! Thought AF was coming a week early!

OMG!!!! Congratulations! Sorry it's taken me so long to come back on and see! I'm feeling really wiped out and drained lately.
I bet you're over the moon though with being pregnant! I'm so pleased for youSmileSmileSmile!!!!
How did you tell your DH? What made you take a test? I want to know all the details....!

BloomingR0sey · 30/01/2016 14:19

No worries! I bet you are ha!
I'm happy but have had some trouble already so worry is taking over! Started bleeding and having pain so got an emergency app this morning turns out I have an infection but still pregnant (THANK GOD) hopefully they've caught it early enough for it to not cause a miscarriage.
Anyways.. I had been craming from about 4dpo which was weird and I could swear I was getting my period a week early but my boobs weren't hurting which is my major pms sign was having heartburn too so dh pops out and comes home with a clear blue and says I know it's early but I think we should do it, I told him he was going to be disappointed ha! So went and did it, come up pregnant I scream and cry and he comes running up crying too!
Just hope this little one is the one!

Do not be fobbed off with "your young". If after a year of unprotected sex at your age you need investigations. The first being a semen analysis for dh and blood work for you to check you are ovulating and that your progesterone levels after ovulating are good enough.

If you have any issues the younger you are the better!

bailey23 · 30/01/2016 15:19

Oh no, I really hope everything works out for you, I'm sure it will - I think we've got a lucky thread Smile!
I don't have heartburn but I've got really bad indigestion which I've never experienced before in my life.
I've got my booking in appointment on Wednesday and I'm hoping they don't tell me I'm no longer pregnant - the waiting, worrying and anticipation definitely doesn't stop once you get a positive test!

BloomingR0sey · 30/01/2016 16:27

Thanks bailey! I really hope so too!
Oh god! It's horrible isn't it! I have my app next Wednesday a week after yours ha! I'm sure it'll all be fine! You're definitely right with the worrying it gets worse haha!
Have you got basic due date? I got one from my ovia pregnancy app

OP posts:
bailey23 · 30/01/2016 21:06

Yeah I've worked mine out to be 15/09 - what's yours?

BloomingR0sey · 30/01/2016 22:10

September baby! Nice! 2nd of October for me!
Trying to stay super calm though because I'm still spotting :(

OP posts:
bailey23 · 31/01/2016 08:33

Hopefully a September baby, my DH was about 8 weeks early so I don't have a clue when our baby will actually come.
Have you been to the docs or anything about the spotting? Round here you have to see the docs for any problems before you're 8 weeks as the midwife doesn't see you until then

BloomingR0sey · 31/01/2016 14:59

Awh ha! I guess really they could come at anytime later on when they're ready!
I went to an emergency gp she did a few tests and checks and confirmed I'm still pregnant but I have a slight infection so I'm on antibiotics for a week then have a midwife app next week (I'll be 6+3 then) and I'll hopefully get an early scan but spotting has stopped today! Thank goodness!!

OP posts:
bailey23 · 31/01/2016 21:12

Aw lucky you, I'd love to see what's going on now with a scan. One of my mates is a vet nurse and when she was pregnant she was scanning herself at work!
I'm glad the spotting has stopped for you, I can't imagine how worried you've been. But just think positive and I'm sure it'll all be fine, I have my fingers crossed for you!

BloomingR0sey · 01/02/2016 09:38

I'm happy I might be allowed an early one but at the same time spotting is actually terrifying! Because you literally don't know what's happening it's a waiting game that you can't change the outcome!
Ha I love that! Her scanning herself haha!
I am trying to think positive! Thank you so much for your support!

OP posts:
bailey23 · 01/02/2016 20:30

Don't be daft you don't need to thank me, us MNers stick together and support each other! But you're welcome, and I still have my fingers crossed for you!
Yeah I can imagine the slotting isn't all that nice at all, has it come back or is it stopping away? Are you absolutely shattered or is it just me? I never seem to be able to sleep at night but then when I need to be awake I just want to sleep!

bailey23 · 01/02/2016 20:31

Spotting not slotting! Oopsy!
