I love it when you get a cancellation - we were looking at up to two months to wait to see the consultant after this last mc but the nurse heard the receptionist take a cancellation for that week and grabbed the appointment for me

I was going to continue to say Whoop! about the first job interview, and also to say that I was under the belief that maternity rules have changed recently (well, since the first time I got pg and looked them up) but I'm sure you know what that specific company do. Fuck it anyway, go for the job and get a sod's law bfp

beaky Other than having to run and cry in the toilets when writing Xmas cards to my team (bitterly imaging them with their families over Xmas) and very abruptly rudely moving a meeting on when a load of teachers went off topic and started talking about their kids (in the context of work life balance and leaving teaching to spend more time with their kids, which I couldn't handle because I left teaching in order to reduce stress and get a job more flexible around ivf appointments as well as not being able to handle the possibility of a third mc in the classroom, and I'm still fucking childless) work is going okay. I don't give as much of a shit about anything right now, but that doesn't stop me doing my job.

Beaky do you have adenomysis (sp?) too - my based on nothing at all hypothesis is that they must have somehow scratched away some of the lining that builds up in the muscle too. Job offer is with a different employer, so might lose some benefits if I did get pg...big if though!

I'm totally on the fuck it way of thinking barking! Hug to you. Christmas is a bitch for stoking up these feelings. Good work on filling up the thread though

barking sounds like your move is starting to fall into place. I hope the dates work out treatment wise. Fingers crossed af is a bit better behaved for you this time. Glad you are surviving at work. I’m also trying to care a lot less, which I can do for a time. Although I bumped into my old manager yesterday (similar age, similar career path etc.), and since we last spoke his wife has dropped a second sprog and he’s got a big promotion. Meanwhile I’m still languishing on the same rung, living on my own, whilst spending every penny I have on trying to get diffed and all my time on mn. That was never the plan! Sometimes I get much more of the blokes, they never have to give anything up.

beaky, glad you’re starting to see the end of af, and you haven’t got too much longer on the pill. In 2 weeks time you can have a double celebration! So when do you move into your new house?

Well I’ve still got 2 small follies today, and not much else. They are growing, but slowly, and my bloods are not where they should be. I’m wondering if the cetrotide has slowed things a bit this time. The sonographer also told me she saw a triple layer… in umpteen cycles no one’s told me I ever had one of those before, so that’s new. Back in again on Monday. Hopefully I make it to EC. We shall see.

Meanwhile, with all this talk of health kicks, I’ve been sitting at my desk bursting out of my jeggings, and eating meeting biscuits…

barking you're right, Christmas is a time when it's incredibly hard to put thoughts of infertility to one side.

AF turned up completely unannounced for me today. Day 28 instead of the usual 33. Glad we didn't put our embie back fresh, as I'm sure my cycle goes to pot whenever I've stimmed. Will have to wait til my Jan day 1 before I can put our frostie back (FC closed over Christmas) though so it's not really of any significance

Hope everyone else is doing ok.

I was wrong about the bleeding, it's still going. so grim. I rang the fc this morning and they said it was a good sign and not to worry unless I had any other symptoms for infection. Tbh I can "feel" my ovaries but that's not an infection now is it. They will see how I get on after my next af which is when I'm to start stimming. This is af day 9, unheard of for me, ever.

beaky yes, theoretically it helps but who knows - maybe AF will take extra long next month to compensate

Sorry yours is playing up. Is that day 9 of full/medium flow or have some of the days been light? If some are light then I don't think it'd be too unusual, but if heavy it does make you wonder where all the blood comes from!

Smidge budge up on the bed of boredom. I'll be just a month behind you, we'll start downregging on cd21 of the January cycle so fx there's something to collect and put back in the February cycle. Just hoping that AF arrives in a couple of days and doesn't go awol post mc. If it's not here by Tuesday I might see if I can book some emergency woo needles.

Tiger I'm delighted your appointment got brought forward and you can get going in the new year.

Beaky sorry to hear AF is giving you grief but hopefully your womble is having a good spring (winter??) clean in preparation for your next cycle.
Our follow up at the FC was meant to be on the 22nd but we had a letter yesterday saying it's been brought forward to this Wednesday (nothing like short notice!). This is better as if we decide to go to Czech in Feb half it'll give us s bit more time to start making plans before they shut down for Xmas. AF very conveniently showed up yesterday. It's my first proper one since the failed cycle so that'll give us a clearer idea of cycle dates for planning future treatment.
Hope everyone's having a good weekend. I've come down with the end of term lurgy and I've now got to get up to take DH to work .

Happylass, 37, TTC since Aug 2012. 3 failed ICSI cycles, 1 failed FET and 1 abandoned cycle due to poor response. Awaiting follow up at FC. HATE THIS SHIT!!

Beaky 35, ttc 3 yrs, 2x failed iui 1 long protocol ivf cancelled, 1 short protocol IVF BFN, very low amh etc etc. In 2ww for 2nd sp IVF.

Tigerdog, 35, ttc since Jan 2013. Unexplained. IVF #1 chemical pregnancy. Currently redoing tests in preparation for IVF #2.

IUI bfn Jan 2015, IVF bfn April/May 2015. FET bfn August 2015, remaining frozen embryo perished. Pursuing private tests and then long protocol ivf in Oct/Nov.

Lumen, 35, ttc since Nov 2011, unexplained, two IVF cycles in 2014, both bfns, waiting for lap&dye and results of numerous bloods, aiming for one last IVF cycle.

Kuma - 40. TTC 2.9 years. Low AMH high FSH - DH antisperm ABs. Failed IVF June 14 and March 15, cancelled cycle June 15. Last try September 15

Lucieloos, 36, TTC 18 months, low AMH & sperm motility. ICSI#1, April 2015, Czech, 2xblasts transferred, BFN. Icsi#2, cancelled before EC. Icsi#3, 2 mature and fertilised, both to blast and frozen. Icsi#4 in October, embryo banking.

Rain, 34, ttc since March 2012. unexplained. Mystery bfp oct 13, MMC Nov 13. IVF#1 Aug 2015

Sesame, 40, ttc with no dp, on this road for 2 years, multiple failed IVFs, 3 ETs, 1 bfp then mc, poor responder with v low AMH, but still looking for the golden egg.

nolly, 33, TTC 3 years, 1 confirmed MC, 2 more suspected. still in limbo.

Funkymonk 33. Ttc since October 2012. Mc June 2013, Mmc dec 2013, mc June 2014. Factor v Leiden thrombophilia. Abandoned IVF Jan 2015 due to thin lining. Abandoned FET Aug 2015 due to thin lining. 4 embies on ice. Cycling again November time I think.

Antonia79 36, ttc #1 since 2009, adhesions made for sticky insides & one tube removed, confirmed NHS IVF route Sept 15, TTC naturally again as recommended by doctor until IVF cycle starts (early - mid 2016) if not conceived by then

I'm doing alright, just throwing myself in work and Christmas mode. The work party last Friday wasn't too bad as we sat ourselves with other childless couples (which was lucky) and we talked about dogs mostly so we both enjoyed ourselves a lot more than we thought we would.

Next appointment is 2nd Jan which I assume will be signing paperwork and sorting dates out. In the meantime we're still doing the natural route. A small tiny corner of my mind is hoping I can say FUFC but it's tiny. Still, try and be optimistic! Hope everyone is well and gearing up for Christmas
