Looking for like-minded mums to be who are taking things as they come and fancy a friendly chat along the way.

I'm 36 and just started ttc my second. My ds is 28 mo and I still bf him once a day, most days. I understand this may affect my fertility but, although a three-ish year age gap would be nice, I'm a long way from worrying about it at this early stage. It took me a year of trying (and a mc) before ds came along so I already know what it's like to wait for good things!

Technically I'm not charting or anything (wouldn't know how) just counting roughly 10 days into my cycle and dtd as much as reasonable (!) around that time.

It might not be the most dynamic way of ttc but it suits me for now

Hi Cake! Sounds like we're about the same stage in our cycles then. Am hoping AF goes soon so that we can get into the next month of trying. Feeling quite positive for this month and going to make sure we make lots of effort! The days seem to go so slowly when I'm waiting for something.

MrsHughes - any news after your test? Have you taken it yet or are you waiting?

MrsHughes I think the earliest you can test is four days before AF is due, but as Blue says it will be much more accurate on the actual day AF is due so you might want to hold onto one until then!

Reebok I'm glad you've got some antibiotics now, hope they kick in soon. Your doctor sounds like an arse btw.

Mrs Hughes, you're not out until AF rears its ugly head. I had 6/7 negatives with my LO and I was over a week late before my first positive. When is AF due?

Thanks guys...hope so! Went to bed early and woke up with aches and pains, shivering from fever and starving as haven't eaten all day. Just had a snack and more Meds again. Feeling quite down today. Keep thinking I should be coming up to 12 weeks soon and ready for my first scan. Hey ho...life sucks!

I've got a busy day at work ahead so hopefully will keep my mind off ttc! Also have woken up with a headache so at least I can take some paracetamol.

Well guys, woke up still feeling like crap and LO is not at nursery today. Luckily it's summer hols for me! I retested today with a cheapie and got a faint line in the right place but it's so faint can't see in a pic. Will just retest tomorrow unless AF shows up.

I'm not sure, ideally it could be this weekend however I've heard horror stories about coming off Cerazette

I've heard the same stories about that pill. Retest tomorrow or in a few days and lay off digital tests for now as if your hormones are low, it won't read yet.

Ok so I'm officially mental. I puked up this morning after testing...not sure if it's from the flu. So I decided to force myself outside and buy a SuperDrug brand. These are pretty good tests. Anyway in pic, there's a very faint line. Is that an evap? It appeared after a minute. Going to retest tomorrow or the day after depending on AF. Getting slight cramps when I need to pee so going to be as negative as possible to avoid disappointment.

oo Reebok I can definitely see a line!! I wouldn't have thought it was an evap line if it showed up after a minute. Fingers crossed it's the real thing!

Thanks guys...So I'm not going crazy and imagining it. Trying to be relaxed about it and not celebrate yet as I'm convinced it's either chemical or I will mc again. Some things never leave your head.

CD32 here - this waiting around for something to happen is a killer! My last cycle was 36 days so I'm not due till Saturday. So boring! Still more convinced than ever there's nothing stirring though. I just don't have any feeling of suspense.

What annoys me is that I can't remember my very early symptoms last time too well. I know I felt horribly pre-menstrual for several days before my BFP, and my period was a week late at that point. But around the actual time AF was due I don't remember if I had any symptoms. I had a negative test around that time, I definately remember that! I don't remember what prompted me to take the test though, iykwim.

Thanks Anna...I was due on Saturday (I think)...can't be sure as I mc in July over 4 weeks ago now so don't know when I was due to ovulate/have a period. I kind of had to make a rough estimate.

I've been feeling premenstrual too but I do remember feeling that way with my LO. So much so I wore a pad constantly...like I'm doing now just in case. I was a week late with her before a positive and came down with a viral infection...and once again I'm sick with an ear infection! Looks like my body doesn't adjust well to pregnancy. Here's hoping AF doesn't show up Anna! Fx for you!

Reebok! That's amazing! What's an evap? Worth going back to the docs for a blood test to confirm? (Can you see a different doctor?) Do take care of yourself, with everything else going on you must look out for your health.

I'm doing ok thanks to those who asked. Feeling exhausted though. Went to doctors yesterday to get referred to mw and can't wait to talk to them about what to do about my energy levels. How are you feeling Apple?

Hope everyone managed to get through the password reset hassle ok.

Not going to docs yet....convinced it will be another early mc. Would rather wait a week or two and then try get referred to epau as they said they would see me again for reassurance once I was pregnant again. Evaporation line is basically a line that comes up once urine dries up... No colour to it. But usually comes up after time limit of test.

Glad you're ok Dubai. Low energy levels in first tri are normal although could be low iron or vitamin d? Had that problem with LO. Once bloods are checked you will know. Rest up!

How many weeks do you think you are Dubai? Also feeling more tired than usual and have low level nausea throughout the day... Fully expecting it to ramp up though. Been to docs & he said he will refer me to the mw.

Ugh password reset was annoying!! Took me 4 goes!! Hope TTC is easier!! AF officially left the building do its back on the DTD tomorrow and it's outer anniversary so I've got a good feeling for it .

Thanks guy. Yes Apple I'm 4 days late or so and have had 3 faint lines today. I do feel the same way I felt with LO. That was an awful pregnancy as I had hyperemesis early on so was sick as a dog. Feel quite sickly now but that could be ear infection...I'm not sure.

Apple if nausea gets really bad get doc to put you on Meds. They are safe. I was on drugs throughout my pregnancy with LO.

Very relaxed TTC here. Am 36 and TTC #2. DC1 is three months old.

Morning everyone!

Reebok - fingers crossed it's a bfp. I'm using the app so can't see photos. Hope you're feeling better soon.

It took me ages to realise that I'd need to reset my password. The app just kept saying it couldn't connect with MN so just thought the site was down. Had to go online as a lurker to see the thread about password reset!

Am pleased to report AF is almost gone so month 8(ish) ttc can begin (cycles have been very long and irregular so although we've been trying since January I'm not sure I've had 8 cycles yet!)

Also welcome TheSasquatch, I'm a newbie to this thread too and everyone is very welcoming
