Fantastic news about the bfps, hope you keep well and busy so the first bit goes nice and quickly.

I'm now 10dpo and poas this morning just because... BFN obviously. I had some spotting a couple of days ago but looking back over my calendar I had similar last month so it's likely to be pre-af and not implantation.

I hate the way the 2ww make me so crazy. Going to put my phone aside today and focus on other things.

keys27 · 25/05/2015 11:55

temp dont blame ya for keeping busy hun. I am trying so hard to keep busy as well. When I was pg the days seemed to go so slow until I reached 13 weeks which then was just heartbreak but now I have my head round the fact the baby is no longer there the days seem to go quicker I think I focus more on the housework haha.

I got a smiley face on a ovulation stick today I only had a d+c last sunday and still bleeding so slightly but in discharge so sorry for tmi there Blush really confused could this still be my pregnancy hormones playing up?

DisneyMillie · 25/05/2015 13:35

keys I'm not sure if you can face it yet or not but have you checked a hpt to see if it's negative yet? If it's not I think maybe the smiley face on the opk could be hormones leftover. Otherwise - maybe you're body's just getting back to normal quickly?

temp - I've my fingers crossed it's just to early for a bfp and you get one in a few days

Cd5 - hurry up and pass days so I can get back to forcing encouraging DP to dtd!!

Romeolovesjuliet · 25/05/2015 13:35

keys have you had a negative pregnany test yet? If not, it could be that making the ov stick positive as the hormones are similar.
temp sorry for the BFN but you do know it's still very early, don't you.
Hope everyone is having a happy day.

How are you both this morning red and drifting - I'm feeling positive today - we're all going to have BFPs in time for Father's Day I'm sure of it!

redredwine4 · 25/05/2015 15:05

Sorry about the bfn temp but yes it's very early days. I have everything crossed for you!

Flowers keys. I agree that until you get a bfn the positive opk is likely to be pregnancy hormones. It is a bit cruel that you have you have to will a bfn!

Disney and drifting let us have our bfps this month as we limp day by day towards O and beyond! I am feeling a bit desperate this month as DH will be away next month during the whole of the critical time. Arghhh too much pressure!!! Also I am STILL not sure I have ov'd since the mc in Feb. It's very frustrating. Spoke to my GP on Thursday who was wonderful, thinks I have nothing to worry about, but will do day 21 bloods next month if I think nothing happens this month.

Sending positive vibes to everyone else as well. Who is testing after temp??

temperamentalamongcorvids · 25/05/2015 19:33

Thanks people, I know it's early to test but I have a bunch of cheapies that are use by July! Probably wouldn't have bothered otherwise. No symptoms at all, I'm not counting my sore boobs which I've had since before ovulatioN. Feeling pretty perky and energetic, so we've been pottering in the garden all day. Hope you're all enjoying the sunshine and the preggy mamas are feeling serene and optimistic.

Mummyofonesofar · 25/05/2015 22:05

Found this thread so place marking. I don't know if you call it a mc or mmc but it happened this weekend. I had some bleeding Friday & Saturday. Inconclusive scan Friday night but Sunday showed hcg was decreasing and scanned a sac measuring 6+5 when I was 8w. Then I naturally miscarried today. Hope I can sit here til I'm ready x

daisyspice · 25/05/2015 22:17

Yay for the bfps keeping everything (well apart from the legs ;-) ) crossed!!

First Af post mc arrived with a vengeance today so hoping my body is returning to normal and ready to try temping!

Pug were u on the December 2015 bus? I recognise the name apologies if I've got mixed up!

Hope everyone has had a lovely bank holiday :-)

ThePug · 25/05/2015 22:33

Hi daisy Yes, I was on the Dec thread. Such a shame seeing familiar faces on here, isn't it. It goes to show the statistics are devastatingly true, though. Did you take this first cycle off ttc? Good luck with the temping, it's really interesting seeing the patterns (or non-patterns as mine has been this wtf cycle).

mummy More hugs (I promise I'm not stalking you). Take a seat

Ooh Disney when is Father's Day? Somehow I haven't seen any cards in the shops yet telling me!

I am crossing my fingers for a temp rise in the morning showing I've ov'ed today. Not sure DH will be up to any more action tomorrow!

daisyspice · 25/05/2015 22:43

It's nice to see u again pug just not on these terms! We had a go but timing wasn't great as cycle was all over the place so hoping things get back to normal to increase our chances, starting to feel a bit desperate and worried it'll never happen tho! Did u wait till things settled down? im hoping the temping gives me a bit more of an idea but trying not to become obsessed

ThePug · 25/05/2015 22:59

Daisy I started off having every intention to wait this first cycle out but the longer it went on with no sign of ovulation, the more I thought we shouldn't miss a chance if and when I did think I was ovulating! So even though my temp chart has been all over the place, out came the opks etc and I finally got a positive yesterday evening after 8 days of mid-coloured lines. That was 28 days after the mc surgery. So hopefully in 2 weeks from now this first cycle will be over one way or another!

You must have got back to a reasonably normal length cycle pretty quickly if AF arrived today, yes? I think with temping you need to not get hung up about the actual temps themselves or any individual ones but rather the overall pattern. For the first few weeks, this obviously means the chart doesn't tell you an awful lot. Are you using FF app?

driftingclouds · 25/05/2015 23:04

Evening all

mummy I'm so sorry for your loss Flowers. It sounds similar to my MC in December. Look after yourself. Welcome to the thread though, its a lovely bunch of supportive ladies.

Disney glad you are feeling more positive today, I think I am too! oh, a bfp in time for fathers day would be amazing! I'm CD6 so AF next due 16th June. pug I think fathers day is 21st June...(although I also haven't seen any cards around)

red why don't you think you have ovulated? have you been temping (sorry if you've said before). Its hard not to feel broken by the MC sometimes. I wasn't sure if I was ovulating but temped last cycle and it showed a definite rise which was reassuring. Although despite DTD the day before, day of Ov and day after, it still didn't work Confused. I totally get the pressure of wanting to conceive in a particular timeframe though. I wish I had some concrete advice to give, but all I can say is that I'm going to try really (really) hard to relax about it a bit more this month. Planning on DTD regularly (aiming for every other day throughout the cycle) but otherwise am trying not to obsess. I will still chart though - partly as I love charts, but also I'm giving the B vits a go this cycle so I want to see if they have had an impact on my cycle length.

daisy good luck with the temping! hoping all has settled down quickly for you now the WTF cycle is over.

temp fingers crossed the bfn was just testing too early

keys hope you are doing ok and get some answers about the ovulation sticks. its so hard to know what is going on so close to the MC Flowers. thinking of you

Mummyofonesofar · 25/05/2015 23:12

Hi pug nice to see a familiar face x

Mummyofonesofar · 25/05/2015 23:12

Thanks drifting

daisyspice · 25/05/2015 23:47

Yeah ashamed to say I have about 4 apps (just to be on the safe side) lol

32 days so think I've been quite lucky so far normally 27/28 cycle

Aw fingers crossed u don't need a normal cycle!! Never managed to get a positive opk and hope you've put it to good use Wink

Think the thing I will struggle with is taking it at the same time every day I enjoy my sleep too much

keys27 · 26/05/2015 07:23

Thanks for the advice guys I dont know if I am strong enough just yet to take a pregnancy test as I know I will get a faint line still the doctor said can take 6-8 weeks for the pregnancy hormone to go. What would you advised me to get? I dont really wanna pay for a first response or clear blue will the cheapy ones still be ok? On the day I was losing baby the urine doctors tests was still so so strong . I am now 9 days after my d+c struggled a little yesterday finished a bottle of wine then went golf club with hubby and kids and had another 4 small glasses so I am feeling it today. However there were no tears so my emotional state must be ok now I am not a drinker at all especially wine thought I would be an emotional wreck.

temp Prob def to early to be testing fingers crossed you get a bfp very soon :)

red disney temp Looking forward to seeing you posting your bfp this month :).

drifting How many cycles have you had now since mc hun?

I am sorry to hear of your loss mummy mines still very raw as well and there a lovely lady called honey on here as well who was 2 days behind my d+c so were kinda in the same frame. Hand holding hun to help you get through this emotional time. Are you trying straight again or are you going to wait? I am just going straight again lol hubby thinks he has won the lottery however I think all the wine and dtd has taken its toll woken up with a urine infection me thinks

To all the bfp's out there did you get pg straight after mc or did you have cycles in-between? Sorry for being so nosey I just dont want to get my hopes up straight after d+c. I have read people falling pg 6 days after a d+c. Now ive stopped bleeding think DTD every other day will be the one for us. Ive never charted or temp'd before so if it gets to August and still no pg wlil ask for your advice on what to do. Hopefully your all have your bfp's by then.

So need to go back to the doctors today anyway as I had a blood clot and I dont know whether the blood clot has gone with the pregnancy or its still there I need to know as I dont want that travelling up or I fall again and the same thing happens :(.

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend the weather has been gorgeous. Good luck with the 2ww guys. I just can not wait until I see the two strong positive lines again.

Mummyofonesofar · 26/05/2015 07:38

keys I think we are waiting til I have a proper AF and tests go negative. Got an appointment at the hospital Monday to scan to check its all gone - which I know it is because I feel completely empty. And to talk about future cycles.

keys27 · 26/05/2015 07:57

mummy Oh thats going to be so hard for you on monday. I remember my second mc I had to do that was heartbreaking but everything had gone for me. Silly question but how are you feeling today hun I know it must still very surreal :(

Mummyofonesofar · 26/05/2015 09:37

keys i feel like the scan is pointless. It gushed out for an hour it's definitely all gone. I feel ok today though. Just feel really empty and sad. Having a day with DP which will be nice.

thelionsleeps · 26/05/2015 11:15

Can I join please. I have been lurking around for a while. I'm 39 and had a mmc 5 years ago and then a successful pregnancy. Started trying for no. 2 in September and got pregnant straight away but had a mmc at the beginning of december at 11 weeks.

Was going to try again in April whilst we were on holiday but got pregnant in March (had sex once in 3 weeks) but had a miscarriage at 6w 3 days just before we went on holiday.

Desperate to start trying again but still testing positive on hpt although the line is getting fainter and my boobs still feel odd.

I have a drs appt tomorrow when I'm going to ask if there are any tests they can do now and does anyone have any advice on what I can ask for? We could get some fertility testing done privately if we have to.

Also loads of you seem to be taking vits and supplements - is this from your own reading or does the gp give any advice for this?

Happy to see so news of bfp and trying to be positive about things but it is so hard to keep your head in the right place especially when you worry that time is not on your side. Thanks in advance and looking forward to more positive stories.

I'm sorry about your news mummy - I didn't have a scan as we were off on holiday the next day and I just knew it was all over with a massive bleed and a complete switch off of symptoms. I hope you are managing to take it easy.

keys27 · 26/05/2015 12:27

mummy big hugs lovely I know how your feeling. I hope you have a lovely day with DP.

lion Welcome hun sorry youve found yourself here. Ive not been here long but these people have helped me so much already just logging on reading stories and support you know your not on your own. Thats odd that your getting a positive line still and mc in April although not impossible I suppose. Is there a chance you could have a new pregnancy now and not know? I took a cheapy today and it was negative very very slight line but not dark at all and only because i'm looking hard I see the line if that makes sense. I had a d+c last Sunday i was 12 weeks lost baby at 9 due to a blood clot however see baby just before I must of lost it which I am finding so hard. That was my 3rd mc as well hun all been early for me but this one wernt and i felt so crushed :(.

Going to try again though straight away. Started taking folic acid today and vits. Drinking lots of water so fingers crossed after my WTF cycle I will get my positive in a few months. They say after a d+c your quite fertile for the next 3 months so you never know. Out if my hands really it will happen when its meant to be.

keys27 · 26/05/2015 12:44

lion The EPU advised me to keep taking vitamins for baby if was going to try again.

keys27 · 26/05/2015 15:10

Guys just want to ask your advice. I mean this cycle is obviously not going to be like a normal cycle. However if my d+c was on Sunday 17th May they said take that as your first day of your period. I bled for around 5-6 days normal for me on my AF. Now saying this is a normal cycle for me 28 days when are my most fertile days? I am worrying a little as OH goes away on the 4th June until 9th. I am worried that's my window.

CarrotPuff · 26/05/2015 15:51

Welcome mummy and lion, sorry you find yourselves here Flowers

Thanks Romeo, I hope so too.

Keys I'd say this week, go DTD until OH is gone!
