Yay Romeo, that's great. We can hold hands and worry be confident together! Smile
The prosecco will definitely not have caused any problems - much too early.

Womble1975 · 23/05/2015 08:57

Congrats Mary and RLJ. Smile
Thanks everyone for the welcome. Still no AF yet. Second guessing everything today as you do!
Trying to hold off testing til tomorrow now .

driftingclouds · 23/05/2015 10:07

romeo!! Congratulations! That's wonderful news-so pleased for you. What a fab anniversary present too! Wishing you a smooth and as stress free a pregnancy as possible

Fizzie100 · 23/05/2015 10:21

Congratulations Romeo! Awesome news! If it makes you feel better I had two bottles of prosecco the weekend before I got my BFP!!!! Don't think it matters too much. Here for hand holding too! Wishing you a boring 9 months x

redredwine4 · 23/05/2015 11:13

Congratulations marys. So pleased for you!

And what a lovely anniversary present romeo! The prosecco is absolutely nothing to worry about.

Wishing you both a healthy and happy and uneventful 9 months

Mamama31 · 23/05/2015 12:54

Congratulations Romeo! Lovely news for your anniversary.

Ladies I'm going to keep a low profile for a while, I will check in to see how you are all doing but I need to just take a MN break and try not to focus on this all so much as I'm not coping too well these last few days. Good luck to you all, I hope to see lots more bfp's when I next check in. Stay strong and amazing as you all are!

Romeolovesjuliet · 23/05/2015 13:52

mama I don't know if you will read this but I hope you are ok and completely understand you needing to take a break. I've had to take a step back a few times over the past few months. Just do whatever you need to do to get through.
Thanks for all the well wishes. I will lurk here for a while as I think you're all lovely and want to see how you are getting on Smile

Well I'm out this month Sad
No line today and AF is here with a vengeance. I'm seriously not testing early next time it's such a mindf*. This is the second time since March I have had faint lines then the bleeding starts. Sad
Will focus on what the consultant says when I see him in a few weeks time.

DisneyMillie · 24/05/2015 09:17

Congratulations romeo - that's fantastic news. Keep us updated of progress

I'm so sorry womble - I hope you get answers from your consultant.

Hope you feel better soon mama - it's really tough isn't it x

I'm trying to be extra positive and failing a little. On cd4 so have started up my clear blue advanced monitor thingy and hoping this cycle is more normal than the wtf one. Doesn't it feel like you're constantly counting days! Either to ovulation ot 2ww or whatever!!

DisneyMillie · 24/05/2015 09:18

Taking lots of hope from the fact I think I've only been reading this 3 weeks and have seen about 5 BFPs!

Romeolovesjuliet · 24/05/2015 09:30

So sorry womble. Hope you get some answers from the consultant.
Disney know what you mean about counting days constantly. It's exhausting.
Hope you don't mind me asking on here - looking for some advice about an early scan. We're due to go away when I'm 8 weeks (assuming I get that far). Not sure whether to have a scan the day before we go or wait til we're back. Last time the baby stopped growing around 8+3 so I'm not sure how much reassurance a scan before then will give. And if there's something wrong we couldn't do anything about it until we got back. But then on the other hand a positive scan might mean I can relax a bit and enjoy the time away. WWYD?

Really sorry about AF wobble, I hope you can get some answers v soon.

Mamama, hope you're ok. come back when you're ready. Thanks

Romeo I have exactly the same question too. I'll also be 8 weeks when we leave for hols. I think I would prefer to wait until afterwards to have the scan. I'll be another week along (hopefully) so more likely they'll find a heartbeat easily. It would be interesting to hear other peoples' views though.

Thank you again for all your lovely messages of support.

Fizzie glad everything's going well.

MarysPrayer · 24/05/2015 13:06

Womble, not wobble, sorry Blush

Romeolovesjuliet · 24/05/2015 14:10

Marys I've talked it through with DH and we're going to wait until we get back. I think a scan at 9 + weeks will be far more reassuring than one at 8 weeks assuming all is well. And it would be just awful if we got bad news just as we were about to go away.
Hope everyone is doing ok.

redredwine4 · 24/05/2015 16:00

Sorry you're feeling so low mama. Even if you're not reading this we're all still thinking of you.

Sorry about your af womble. It's good you have an appointment to see a consultant.

Disney I know exactly how you feel. That's great that you'vegot the wtf cycle out of the way. Hope things go straightforwardly for you now. I'm on CD6 so we're both in a similar place in our cycles.

marys and romeo- I would like to think that if I were in your position I would wait. A scan before your holiday might reassure you for around 5 minutes I would imagine, whereas if you can hold off to 9 weeks then you are that bit further on. I might feel totally differently if it were me though!!

Fizzie100 · 24/05/2015 17:24

Hey Romeo and Mary's I had exactly the same conundrum. We were going away when I was 8 + 3 to somewhere quite remote and I was scared of something going wrong whilst we were away so we had early scan at 8 weeks and we saw strong heartbeAt which was lovely and reassuring before we went away. Whatever puts your mind at ease ladies follow your heart x

keys27 · 24/05/2015 18:53

Yay congratulations on the bfp's im so happy for you. Fingers crossed all goes smoothly.

Sorry your feeling so down mama I am as well. I came back from my weekend break a few days early just wernt coping very well so I know how your feeling hun.

Finally stopped bleeding after the d+c last week so jumping back on the horse lol. Hubby away on a stag weekend on the 4th till the 8th June I image there my most fertile days however on the WTF cycle who knows. It says on babycentre im most fertile between now and 2nd June but thats someone with a regular cycle and mine must be messed up but can only try.

Want my hormones to go now I still have that horrible taste in my mouth and my headaches its not fair makes me think I am still pregnant :(.

Everyone feeling low big hugs were in this together its horrible and heartbreaking I know hand holding with you all.

BFP's so happy for you make sure you keep us updated on your journeys maybe you can set up a new page for pregnancy but people who have suffered miscarriages and hopefully we will all be joining you soon and share our worries together.

Lots of love guys I know how you feel try and keep strong (i know its hard) we will get out bfp's soon and when its meant to be.

MarysPrayer · 24/05/2015 19:36

Thanks for your advice Fizzie and Red.

Keys Flowers

driftingclouds · 24/05/2015 20:18

womble I'm so sorry. Hope you are ok. I hope the consultant appointment is helpful-when are you due to see them?

marys and romeo I honestly don't know what I would do about scans, but I guess the later the better? (Easier said than done). Please keep us updated on how you are doing-so pleased for both of you. (really sad that it's not me too, but that's life and I'll get there-wishing you both a very boring pregnancy!)

disney and red, yep I'm struggling with the positivity too...I'm CD5 today so I can I join you with the constant counting? Somehow we will find the strength.

keys thinking of you too. Glad the bleeding has stopped and you can start moving forwards. The hormones are horrible. You are so right though-we will get the baby we are meant to have Flowers

Hope everyone else is doing ok

Mamama31 · 24/05/2015 20:33

Thanks ladies. DH and I have decided to have a ttc break until after our holiday in August. I just need to take the pressure off for a bit as it was not doing me any good at all. I think a couple of months off without counting days and wishing my life away is what we need as I've been doing this for nearly 2 years...its not healthy.

Good luck everyone, I really hope (in the nicest way) not to see any of you still on here in August when I come back and that you will all have your healthy bfp's. X

keys27 · 24/05/2015 20:38

drifting we so will hun its going to take others longer its not fair and is so heartbreaking weve lost our babies but we will all get that lovely feeling of the two lines again even if others here are 2 3 4 5 6 7 or 20 weeks in front of us on here we will support each other along the way. We all know how we are all feeling right now and even the people with the bfp's need our support as much as we need there's because weve been here before and the anxiety and constant knicker watching is the most uneasy 12 weeks of our lives. This is why I am so happy I found you all we can all hand we all know we can fall pregnant and our time and our time will come. We will all be on the pregnancy forums before know it.

Hand holding hun through this emotional rollercoaster xxxx

keys27 · 24/05/2015 20:45

mamma whatever feels right for you huni. But you know when your not trying you fall its what happened to me so now I know I wont fall for months because now im trying if that makes sense. Big hugs huni reading your story touched me the most after the time it took you to fall and then losing bubba must of been so so hard. I did get upset for you. Makes us very strong ladies. It will happen for you babes. I hope you have a lovely holiday hun looking forward to seeing you back in August but hoping to see you with a positive before. Take care huni xxxx

ThePug · 24/05/2015 22:26

Need to catch up with you all, sorry I've been useless on this thread so far. I just wanted to share with you all that today, 28 days after erpc I have just got a very positive OPK and some nice stretchy slippery cm. I'm so pleased and there is no way in hell I'm not going to give it a try this month! I'm just so so glad after weeks of nothingness and a temp chart that's been all over the place that actually my body might be getting itself geared up to ovulate again.

Now I have something going on, I hope I'll be motivated to be on here a lot more Smile

CarrotPuff · 24/05/2015 22:28

Oh Romeo biggest congrats! I hope it's a sticky one for you Flowers and don't worry about prosecco.

Sorry about AF Womble, I hope you get some answers at your appointment soon.

Mama do whatever feels right for you, you will get there Flowers

Fizzie that is amazing news, onwards and upwards!

MrsC haven't heard from you in a while, I hope you're ok Flowers

Romeolovesjuliet · 24/05/2015 22:39

Great news Pug - good luck!
Carrot thank you - I'm pretty sure we joined this thread around the same time so really hope you won't be far behind.
