Hi all, thanks for all you lovely comments the other day. These threads really are such a support. I am 11dpo and BFN so think I'm out for this month. Feeling even lower. I'm so scared it'll take forever to get pregnant again and then I'll just be terrified, like adventure described. Off to Cornwall for the weekend and am also in the dilemma of do I drink if AF doesn't appear...

Hi keys carrot and rosie. Sorry you find yourselves here... Sad

disney so sorry AF got you. Try not to worry too much about the LP. If I ovulated at all in my wtf it was only about a week before AF. This is precisely why it is called the wtf cycle! It messes with our heads!

romeo happy anniversary!

red, well done for your dad.... Hopefully your aunt will think a bit more carefully about what she's saying next time.

In terms of remembering beans.... I planted a rose bush the weekend I found out I was pregnant. So that will always be my baby's rose. It flowered for the first time today. I also wrote some things on the back of a scan picture then put it out to sea to say goodbye.

temperamentalamongcorvids · 22/05/2015 07:12

ibeka have a great time in Cornwall. I used to live down in the west Country, love it therE!

Sorry for the random capitals. My phone is also temperamental!

Squidges to everyone suffering today. 5.5 years on I still have a peace lily in the bathroom, bought to mark my first loss. Have a whole folder of scan pics toO. I w orked with a therapist who advised wearing a piece of jewellery bought specially, to "show it to the world for about a year".

Off to pick a ton of willow on the way to work! Have a good day, or at least a peaceful one.
X

temperamentalamongcorvids · 22/05/2015 07:12

Noooo! I just added a kiss on mumsnet! Don't report me.

Mamama31 · 22/05/2015 09:45

Ibeka enjoy Cornwall, I would have a few drinks but just not go overboard in case.

No sign again for me of af apart from one icky glob of bloody cm (tmi) yesterday. I think it's going to come next week some time as I now have the standard pre af spot on my chin, I am super sensitive and emotional and could easily kill someone or at best punch someone. Feeling very irritable so this is all usual pre af stuff!

Women really get a raw deal....oh to be a man and only have to provide the goods!

MarysPrayer · 22/05/2015 13:50

I got a good strong line on a FRer last night. Can't quite believe it.

Sorry for not posting earlier. I just needed a bit of time for it to sink in a little (and to let dh know).
I'm about 10% happy and 90% terrified. Confused

Mamama31 · 22/05/2015 13:51

Ah Marys that's wonderful news! How many dpo were you? That's great news but I understand you are terrified also. I will be hoping and praying everything goes well for you.

CarrotPuff · 22/05/2015 13:56

Sorry I've completely lost track of this thread.

Congrats Marys! Keeping everything crossed for a sticky bean Flowers

Pathetic attempt this cycle, we've DTD only twice more or less before ovulation, not convinced that's enough. Had a smear done yesterday, still spotting Confused I'm somewhere at the start of 2ww, but trying not to think about it. Have a nice day lovelies xx

MarysPrayer · 22/05/2015 14:07

Thank you Smile

Mamama I was 12dpo yesterday, AF is (was?!) due on Sunday.

Mamama31 · 22/05/2015 14:08

That's brilliant Marys! Very happy for you, what cycle after mc was this? (sorry so many q's)

DisneyMillie · 22/05/2015 14:20

Huge congrats marys - I'm so happy for you Smile. I too want to know what cycle you were and what symptoms you got this month.

Fingers crossed for a lovely uneventful 9 months xxx

ThePug · 22/05/2015 16:39

Marys I'm so thrilled for you fellow Bumsnetter! I have everything crossed that this one will have a happy ending.

I haven't been posting much on here because bugger all of interest seems to be happening with me. My wtf cycle is truly wtf with temps all over the place, opks looking like they will be positive tomorrow but then going lighter and general impatience on my behalf. 26 days post erpc today and would quite like either AF to arrive or get some proper signs of ovulation soon please. Can someone arrange that for me please? Thank you kindly.

Mamama31 · 22/05/2015 16:48

Thepug I feel your pain I'm 31 days past d&c (same thing), I don't think I ovulated but af is definately coming soon. Just having bloody cm but it has increased today so I think full flow will be tonight or tomorrow. Getting the wine in preparation! I hope something happens for you soon, it is very frustrating to say the least!

Honey85 · 22/05/2015 17:15

Massive congratulations marys, wishing you a happy and healthy and stress free 9 months!

Hoping the wtf cycles get their bloody acts together for you lovely ladies.

Think I've stopped bleeding now .. D&c was a week ago ... So will be keeping fingers crossed for not too much wtfness over this end, but doubt that!

Off to the pub for wine!

ibeka · 22/05/2015 17:47

Congratulations marys Grin

pug my lovely, I hope the wtf isn't getting you down too much. I didn't temp in wtf because I thought I would find it too stressful but I think your temps can be all over the place. Maybe you missed your lh surge and have already had it? Maybe the opks are picking up some other left over MC hormone? Maybe you've not had your surge yet and your opks have different amounts of dye in! You just never know this cycle and I know it's impossible but you have to just tell yourself that one day soon AF will appear and you'll know where you are. Or you'll be mega lucky and AF won't appear and in a couple of weeks you'll do a test just to make sure and get a bfp!! Either way you will get there soon. What are you doing for this bank holiday weekend?

Womble1975 · 22/05/2015 18:58

Hi everyone..
Just wanted to introduce myself. I've one dd 2 and been ttc since last October. Had mc #1 in December at my 12 week scan which resulted in me being blue lighted to the nearest major hospital. Hideous experience. Mc#2 in March at 5 weeks. Currently 2 days late for AF, but cycle all over the place atm. I'm usually 27 days but now I'm 30 days today. Had a faint line on a IC but nothing on CB digital. Absolutely terrified at the moment. Don't want to believe I could be due to having 2 mc so close together. And I know I'll be on edge until I see everything is ok at the scan.
Currently waiting to see consultant at multiple miscarriage clinic as I'm nearly 40 and had 2 so close together.
My dd was a perfect pregnancy no issues.
Sorry to spill my guts on here, no one in RL that I can talk to who understands. DH tries but doesn't get it.
I'm scared to death every time I go to the toilet incase history repeats itself but also impatient to get confirmation one way or the other.
Sorry for the essay ??

MarysPrayer · 22/05/2015 19:59

Welcome Womble, I'm sorry to hear you've had such a hard time. We have a few things in common. I haven't had the same traumatic time that you had in December but like you I did have an early mc in March, I'm also in my late 30s and I've just got a bfp last night, so I can relate to some of how you may be feeling right now. Fingers crossed for you. I really hope this one works out well for you.

Thank you everyone for all the lovely messages. For those who were asking: This is my 2nd cycle since mc. The first/wtf cycle wasn't too far off my normal cycle length, perhaps because my mc was early and I didn't need any medical management. Either way, I have been relatively lucky it seems.
My symptoms are worrying me though tbh. Getting cramps and feeling very irritable, like AF is imminent . This is how I felt in March, with dd I had virtually no symptoms until I was at least seven weeks. Trying to remain optimistic though.

MarysPrayer · 22/05/2015 20:02

Womble I've heard that CB digitals aren't very sensitive. Can you get hold of a FRer?

Womble1975 · 22/05/2015 20:09

Thank you Mary. I will try and get hold of one at the weekend.
I still have a few IC's left so may hold off til I get a stronger line on those As this is exactly what happened in March.
Trying desperately to keep myself busy and my mind off things for a few days and trying to ignore the nausea and odd cramp. Convinced every times I go to the toilet it will be game over

DisneyMillie · 22/05/2015 20:37

Welcome Womble and I'm sorry that you're here. However, it sounds very positive and I really hope that you get a nice darker line tomorrow. There's no reason until told otherwise to think history will repeat - you're bound to be anxious (I'm sure I'll be a nervous wreck if I get pregnant again) but there's more chance that things will be just perfect x

marys - cramps aren't a always bad thing - you need to stretch etc - I had absolutely crippling cramps very early on with my first pregnancy and have a lovely dd to show for it - with my mc I felt nothing - not that either way means anything - just that cramps aren't a bad thing on their own. Stay positive xx

Hope things speed up soon mama - we can be cycle buddies in out first proper cycle!

I'm making the most of the rubbish ness of AF with a large glass of good red wine and homemade chocolate biscuits!WineBiscuit

Fizzie100 · 22/05/2015 21:25

Mary's congrats! Great news! I know how you feel and I'm sorry for your previous losses. I'm currently 10 weeks after a MC in feb and I totally understand about being scared of the loo and im still not sure how to get over the fear except to not look at every bit of loo roll! Yesterday we had a scan at EPU as had been spotting and bean was there heart beating measuring 9 + 4 and consultant pleased so am desparately trying to relax. Only 2 weeks now til 12 week scan and then maybe just maybe I'll start to feel better. I hope you start to feel more confident soon. And to all the other ladies I hope you are all ok and sending lots of love for more BFPs soon!!x

Honey85 · 22/05/2015 21:32

Fizzle that's excellent news, I think i remember you joining the December 2015 thread but feeling v anxious. So pleased for you! With my Dd, I had spotting at 9 weeks too .. It's v normal!

Mamama31 · 22/05/2015 21:52

Disney I have light flow now, but think will be full af later on or tomorrow. Very tearful tonight, I have just been remembering a lot about the mmc today I think it must be due to hormones as I had been doing well not to relive those feelings, I feel like I'm torturing myself by thinking about it. Just want to get on with af and get it over with then maybe I can look to a fresh cycle. Feeling so grim, but I know day 1 of af is always very emotional and upsetting and that it will get better in a few days.

welcome womble and good luck for your bfp.

Fizzie I'm glad everything is going well and you seen the HB.

Off to drown myself in gin.....

driftingclouds · 22/05/2015 21:54

marys-congratulations! That is such great news. Fingers crossed for a healthy and stress free pregnancy.

womble welcome and congratulations! I hope the lines continue to darken for you and that everything works out as it should.

To everyone else-hope you are all ok and have a nice weekend planned. I've had a busy day with the kids and friends and it's been great as I didn't think about TTC once!

Romeolovesjuliet · 23/05/2015 08:13

Big congrats to Marys, so so pleased for you! Cramps are completely normal in the early weeks.
Welcome womble, sounds like you've had a really rough time of it.
mama sorry you're feeling so low. Day 1 is always the worst, in a few days you will be able to start planning a new cycle. Look after yourself and get lots of hugs from your DH over the next few days.
So, I was so convinced I was out with AF type cramps I had a couple of small glasses of prosecco last night. Then I had an urge to poas before bed and no sticks in house other than digis so I used a cbfm stick and got 2 lines - was a bit puzzled by what that meant. Still wasn't convinced but thought I should rule it out before going out for dinner tonight so did a digi this morning and got pregnant 1-2 weeks! I can't believe it! I'm so happy but completely terrified things will go wrong again. Please, please, please let this one result in a healthy baby.
