Anyone else 4dpo?

Today I'm 4 days past ovulation- I think. So that makes me due AF 8th May.

I'm 27, and first month ttc #1.

Just wondered if anyone else was in the same boat?

Aargh! Broken a mirror!! What do I do now?

I don't know about the doctor - I had loads of tests around Oct, Nov, Dec time and the doc said they would do nothing until we had been ttc for 8 months. They tested for pcos (nothing) and my hormones are all ok. Blood test however showed I wasn't ovulating. I'm going from mid cycle stomach cramps to predict atm. Only really been trying this month and tried for a month in April (pause to plan the wedding)

Vap I've got a hen to go to in a couple of weeks and I'm just not feeling it. I CBA to go to a club, I'm old enough to be someones Mum. I'm praying I'm pregnant partly just so I can drive and go home early.

Vap it's hard to say. Ovulating naturally has almost thrown a spanner 8n the works - have you done that blood test to check you are actually ovving and not just having the lh surge like chelle had? I guess the dr might want to investigate that before clomid maybe? I dont know if clomid plus natural ovulation can be a problem - causing multiple births or something and maybe that's why they try to avoid it? Totally guessing

Oh and if anyone's interested symptoms spotted today:

• insatiable appetite with zero willpower.
• dog tired
• wanting to kill DH.

vap how was go ape? I've always wanted to go there! And when is your appointment? I think you need to put your foot down with the doc. Tell him about the emotional turmoil, make it sound worse than it is even though that's not possible. and don't leave til he offers you what you want! I'm cross for you about your DP talking about the injections, but I do agree with vap that it deffo comes from him being useless in this situation. There is nothing he can do or say to solve the problem, make you happy or change anything. That must be a horrible feeling even though he doesn't know the half of how you've been feeling! and men always balls things up when they feel bad.
chelle sorry you've had a hard time too, but so nice to have the wedding to focus on as a distraction! Have you got it all sorted already? You need a dress with an expandable belly!
I've lost track of dates a bit, am I right that vap and chelle are testing next weekend? What about you lod?

vap have you had any testing yet? I had an internal scan to check for pcos - it was hilarious because I'd had thrush the week and she couldn't get the thing in cuz I'd tightened/swollen that much. Awkward!

No expanding belly. I'm actually supposed to be losing a stone to get in to my dress. It was off the rack so cheap as chips. I'm wondering whether to buy a new one .

Currently sat in a flat in sunny London belonging to my friends sister. Awake stupidly early as usual but through some miracle didn't burn at the festival yesterday. First ever festival and had a good time but not my thing. Did see a lady who looked about 7 or 8 months pregnant though!!

Next sat is good for me, I'll only be 12dpo so need to get a FRER. Book it in the diary!

I'm not feeling hopeful tbh - im sure I was having symptoms by now with LLOD, although I have a very dull ache in my right armpit/boob which I wouldn't have given a second thought if I wasn't on hyper alert so not completely despondent. How are you getting on chelle? Spotted anything?

Music festivals are my idea of torture. All sitting on grass, unnecessary wellies and millions of drunk people. The closest I get to that is a nice summer fete

Shall we organise a group trip to go ape? We'll have to wait until Baby Achm is here now (probably, they don't let you do anything fun while pregnant do they?), and by then we'll all be knocked up too... so once the final POAS baby is born we can leave the kids with the men and bugger off up a tree and swing from a rope.

Had the most awful lower back pain earlier but have been remarkably symptom free apart from the odd twinge in my stomach

I think I'm going off the idea of ttc again if things go wrong, might just count my blessings with two. But im staying here whatever happens. Also if that's the case my two will be older so I will be the one all fresh with all my sleep, swinging from them trees and then getting well and truely drunk (sorry for being a bit negative and talking about all this but need it off my chest and DH refuses to discuss what ifs until we know, he's much more positive than me)

I agree lod re music festivals. Never ever understood it, I am so old before my time!

All this talk of festivals is making me nervous! I love them, we don't go to many but I like pretending to be a teenager and getting drunk in the sun in a field! Only issue is... We've got tickets for V festival in August. I'll be 11 weeks by then, not sure that's the right time to be sleeping on the floor and having to find a portaloo to be sick/have a wee! (Anticipating lots of morning sickness as being sick is my least favourite thing in the world so it would be typical!!!)
DH is REALLY looking forward to it, but I'm not so sure now I can't drink!? Don't know what to do!? I do want to go, but worried it will just be unpleasant!

Honestly don't worry about the ifs now achm With one of mine I was being a bit sick then, with the other not too much and this one im violently sick daily. However with all of them ive learnt when I'm most sick and how to avoid it best to suit me! So don't worry it shouldn't impact on you too much, plus you will still be able to sleep etc unlike later on in pregnancy where sleeping in a tent would by (although im sure some crazy outdoor people would be up for that, it's not my cup of tea) haha!

Also apologies but the reference to swinging through the tree with babies made me think of Orangutans

chelle were you using opks too when the blood tests said you weren't ovulating? I know people say that a positive opk doesn't actually mean you're ovulating but I've never actually ever heard anyone say that they had a positive opk and blood test which suggests not. I'll ask the Dr about the likelihood of getting a positive opk and not actually ovulating as he seems totally happy to rely on the opks from all my meetings with him. Although this is probably just because he is totally apathetic about the whole thing! He already has notes from previous meetings so will know I started ovulating in March which is a bit of a buggar!

lod let's hope you get your bfp before the hen do! We had a good night! The hen had all of 2 glasses of wine all night. Most others were having a good drink. I'm only just feeling a little more human now after a hangover from hell! Sooooo much prosecco.

achm I didn't make it there in time to do the go ape thing, it's actually called log heights and apparently is more extreme than go ape. I'm disappointed now I would have loved to have a go. I'm totally up for a log heights or go ape meet up sometime!

Dr appointment is on 20th July so not too long now to wait. I shouldn't get my hopes up really as I pretty much know I'll come out disappointed. I will lose all faith in the system if they send me away again and may go private. I need to look at costs again after listening to what he has to say on 20th.

lod I know clomid does have risks of multiple births however from the little I understand I doubt having natural ovulation will increase the risks. I understand that's why they start you off at 50mg and then increase the amounts only if that fails.

chelle yep I've had a few tests, they did a Hycosy where they flush your tubes and he has also ruled out pcos however again I think that is just total apathy and I think he would rather tell people everything is fine than giving them a label. No issues with either dp or me apparently but I'm not sure if that's totally true.

I'm with lod and never on the music festival thing. Not my cup of tea at all! Go ape however! Oh we really have to do it! I'm going to be itching to go now! achm I'm sure you'll love v festival! I hope you don't feel too ill but I'm sure all the music will be a good way to keep your mind off it all.

It's so nice to be at home - for the 1st time since Tuesday morning! Dp has even had the carpet cleaner out and tidied around! woo hoo!

You can.play V by ear Achm. I wasn't sick at all I ate through the nausea but you might want to plan ahead, make sure you always have a snack/ drink to hand & factor in time got a nap etc. as the tiredness was my biggest problem.

I'd go - do everything you really enjoy in the next 9 months. And enjoy your DH's company. I wouldn't change a thing but sometimes I do miss just being us.

vap I havn't used OPK's at all. It's annoying when they say nothing's wrong. That's exactly my problem but then I havn't left it long enough to know if there's a problem yet, I guess.

I've had the worst stomach cramps today. They don't really feel like AF cramps. Currently 8DPO. Would that sound right?

What's your DP said Vap? A Few things I've read seem to recommend pre-seed.

Quiet sorry I didn't respond to your earlier post and sorry that your DH maybe isn't letting you talk about things you need to discuss. I guess at the minute you're both in a very strange place and it's hard to know how you'll feel when the dust has settled. But perhaps give yourself some time and don't put pressure on yourself to make any concrete decisions (like sending DH off for the snip ) straight away.
As yet you might still have a third on the way so don't get too excited about getting your sleep back and long lie ins!

chelle sometimes cramps are from implantation, so fx it's a good sign!

Just popped by to update you all- I'm pregnant! About 12 dpo but got a positive at 5/6 dpo so something wasn't right last cycle but I don't temp or anything.

Anyway, dp has decided he doesn't want it! What a tosser..
