Anyone else 4dpo?

Today I'm 4 days past ovulation- I think. So that makes me due AF 8th May.

I'm 27, and first month ttc #1.

Just wondered if anyone else was in the same boat?

Morning ladies. Anyone know anything about faint positives? Mine are still so faint it's unreal!

Another bfn for me, either 9 or 11 dpo. I keep meaning to wait but then I think I feel far too pregnant not to be, it must show up, but no luck. Maybe time to give up on this month.

I have a very faint line I think, must be 11dpo being that faint and I used a FRER... I will test again Wed. You can just about make it out on my phone but not on the computer so I won't bother uploading.

DP is trying to keep us realistic and is saying that faint line must be the standard whether pregnant or not, can you imagine how many women would be going mental if that was the case?!

Usually I would have at least spotted by now or seen AF, but not yet!

Give it a few days Ace and Lizzy - which tests did you use? With mine being so faint on a FRER there is no way it would have shown on any other test so you may still be in luck! Fingers crossed for us all x

Tentative congrats Rick! If you got your tiny line in the 5min time limit then I'd take it as a positive. I have had evap lines in the past but only after I've gone back 30 mins later. My negatives have always been completely blank.

It was def there within 5 minutes so fingers crossed, don't want to get my hopes up as we'd be ridiculously lucky to catch straight away!

rik that's exactly what I had on Thursday. I'm still getting bloody faint lines but they're definitely there. Congrats - I'd say you're there I did an early test that was definitely negative and when I did a comparison there was a difference. Negatives are very blank! Xx

I'm going to retest on Wed with my other FRER then maybe every other day with the ICs I have after that. Then i'll get a digi one to make it real next weekend.

Chelle have you tried a digi?

I retested today with FRER (3 days later) and it came up straight away and much darker Rick. I too have a digi squirrelled away for 'official testing' once AF is definitely late

There's about £12 literally pissed away thereon unnecessary tests. I could have spent that on nappies and lasinoh

chelle had a quick Google and lots of people saying they had light lines throughout pregnancy (crazy folk still testing at 3 months) so please don't worry. Different people pump out different amounts of hormone and the dilution of your wee, time of day etc. etc. can all affect it.

Maybe i'll leave it 3 days and retest on Thurs, I want a dark line before I can believe it!

I have no idea when i'm officially late as have been taking a B Vitamin to extend my luteal phase. Originally I had a 9 day luteal phase and last cycle it was up to 11 days, but i've been having spotting on the days when I would have been originally due and had none of that yet, it would have started yesterday. FF says i'm due today using an average of 10 days but who knows when it really is due on this particular cycle, could be tomorrow or maybe even Wed if extended further.

When are you officially late LOD? Are you 13/14dpo today?

I have 30 day cycles with a slightly longer luteal phase than average so officially late on Wednesday. Although it's been anywhere between 26 and 40 day cycles since my periods came back after LLOD so could actually be a week Sat when it's actually missed

LOD I think if you ar getting strong positives on the tests you are doing now you'd be safe to use a digi.

Although as a caveat this is my first time trying and first time doing a test so I have no experience so feel free to ignore my ramblings!

Rickalicious, I used a free and an ic on Saturday, but I'm pretty sure that was way too early (7 or 9 dpo). This morning I used a babymad ic from Amazon. I haven't used the loo all day, so part of me is tempted to test again and just keep going until AF shows or I get lucky, but it's pregnant probably more sensible to wait. I won't be officially late until at least Friday.

Yeah i'd say 7/9dpo and 9/11dpo today is quite early so you def aren't out yet! Try and wait a few more days if you can. I wish I had waited a few more days as with it being so faint i'm still not convinced.

I was just hoping we would know before going to the doc about starting clomid. But that's probably not realistic. I didn't realise it might only be the lower number until I worked out about the temps so I'm not sure! I keep waking up before my set temp time and wasn't sure whether to go with when I woke up or the set time (I went been to sleep). So it could be far too early. I am just so worried it won't work, what with the pcos. It seems like lots of women get it by 11 dpo though, although only anecdotally.

rik I haven't used a digi. A line is a line and I'm happy with that lod I'll be the crazy one still testing at three months! I have approximately 28 more pregnancy tests to use up which arrived on Saturday

Well I'm 13 dpo with a BFN on a clear blue digital. AF due today but no sign yet. Will have the chance to buy a new test tomorrow so will next test on Wednesday with my FMU if no AF.

Oh man - have you seen how close we are to 1000 messages?!
