Anyone else 4dpo?

Today I'm 4 days past ovulation- I think. So that makes me due AF 8th May.

I'm 27, and first month ttc #1.

Just wondered if anyone else was in the same boat?

Well, I've got pcos so I've got an appointment to get a clomid prescription on the 14th, due to start taking it as cd1 as soon as af starts. So was hoping to find out before so I could tell the doctor, etc. But maybe will have to wait.

The heartburn is weird, I've only ever had it once or twice in my life and not for ages. The last couple of days I was really exhausted (had a two hour nap yesterday) and then last night and today I've had the heartburn, a bit of nausea and a lower backache so fingers crossed.

I just had my first pregnant lady afternoon nap awesome.

If I said 'Ofsted' would that make sense? Think I smashed the napping thing though, went for a lie down after work at 5, woke up at midnight, back to sleep at 3am and slept til 8. Think I've got a cold too though so just completely shattered!!

I retested this morning and while I got a darker line, it's still pathetic! Two of us in as many days!

I did it at about 5am after a really vivid, horrible dream in which I was pregnant - I had them before I found out I was pregnant with LLOD so had a sudden urge to test. It took a good minute or two to come up - I was thinking 'no line... sigh... boo... oh hang on... am I imagining things... is it.... oooh!'

DH has been fairly unexcited about it all. But if I recall he wasn't fussed until the scan last time, then shit got real for him!

achm good luck. I experienced ofsted once during a very nasty bout of larangitis. I had zero voice and they observed me three times in the two days! Very unfair! Good luck!

lod that might not be a bad thing about your DH. My OH is currently freaking out about a list of jobs he wants done before the baby comes. My life is going to be chaos over this next nine months! He's currently browsing cots and toddler beds.... i whinge but don't really mean it (spelling?? whinge?)

I had very few symptoms this time except for the dreams, slightly sore armpits and being a maudlin sadsack for a week.

I think it's really sweet that your DH is do excited chelle. The first words out if my DH's mouth were 'I just when we thought we couldn't get any more tired!' and then said a few more hilarious things about our sex life ending and having no money then gave me a hug and a kiss because I probably looked like I was about to cry

He can be a bit of a twat like that though.

Oh and we got beautiful solid wood nursery furniture from eBay. It was second hand but beautiful stuff and half price. Obvs we got a new mattress but saved a fortune.

lod I don't feel very 'symptomy' today hope that is not a bad sign. On the plus side AF is supposed to be due tomorrow but I don't feel that coming on so we'll see - I think I might set my alarm to 5am for tomorrow lol

I was trying to hold off testing but my fiancé really wanted to so we did and bfn. I realised though I might have been doing my temps wrong so I was either 7 or 9 dpo. I feel like I'm out this month and I'm not sure if I should bother testing again, and if so when. Still having some symptoms though - sore boobs, cramping and last night (sorry tmi!!), a weird sharp pain down there that only lasted about 5 seconds. What do you guys think? Is there still a chance? When should I test again, or would you just wait for AF?

lizzy my first test was a BFN so you could be in luck. I had the most awful sharp pain lasting about 30 seconds. I was driving at the time and actually let go of the wheel!! OH had to grab the wheel and steer for a bit. i'm such a baby

lod I said hi on the march board but the conversation is just so busy that I can't keep up with it! I think this one is nice because it's small enough so that we actually know about each other Bit more personal I guess. I don't know what I'll do.

OH has decided pine furniture is the way to go so he can strip it down and paint it himself. This is a bonus because six months ago when we first discussed having a baby he wanted to build a cot. 20 years time I'm going to be a long suffering wife who's husband lives in the shed doing DIY

ace what DPO are you? 13? My stomach cramps stopped when I got to about 12DPO and symptoms all started to settle down. The only thing I have going on now (15dpo) is a super sensitive smell. The fridge, gross. The spice cupboard, even worse. The bread bin makes me want to hurl, nasty. The sweetie drawer can't go near it. I've actually taken to holding my breath every time I need to get milk from the fridge!

Thanks Chelle. That must have been a scary moment, glad you're both OK! How long would you leave it to test again? Some of the stuff seems like it could be just the progesterone, not pregnancy, but the sharp pains are weird and I've never had those before.

I had the pains on the monday. BFN Weds, very very very faint BFP on the Thurs and even yesterday the BFP was faint. Depends how much you want to torture yourself over it I guess. I should have just gone with planned syncro pee with lod on saturday because I would have got a slightly better positive. I just couldn't sleep for dreaming about it so had to test. So I guess maybe leave it five or six days after the pain?

OK, that sounds like a wise plan! I tried to be strong and wait but my fiancé really wanted to try it. I forgot he's super logical, so he just went, OK too soon to tell, so it didn't really worry him, unlike me! I'll try to leave it at least 5 days.

Hi, another newbie I've been following the thread and love reading all about you guys. it seems to have a high success rate!

Cycle 3 for us of ttc but we haven't had a good go either month as life got in the way! It would be dc3.

I've never done the temperature thing before but plan to try it this month (assuming bfn as only dtd twice during the fertile window). I have the Ovia App, thinking it might be useful.

AF is due on 20th July, won't be testing before then. No symptoms but last month had every symptom going, including 3 days late and was SO sure but no . Last pg I just knew as day AF was due I had (forget what it's called) an incredible amount of saliva, constantly in my mouth! It was very odd, like I was about to vomit but without feeling nauseous. Sadly, the two swapped shortly after.
