Today I'm 4 days past ovulation- I think. So that makes me due AF 8th May.

I'm 27, and first month ttc #1.

Just wondered if anyone else was in the same boat?

Hello! Sorry I've been a bit quiet, work stress mixed with mardy teenagers (steps!) and a touch of identity theft just to make my weekend really perfect!! Ugh it's been annoying! But I've just finished AF so feeling very positive about this cycle!
Never sounds like everything will be fine, let us know if you have an early scan, aside from being a reassurance I bet it will be a bit exciting!
Vap my DH has no idea, but he will be spending a serious chunk of his time in bed over the next week or so!
Think we need lod back to wake us all up!

Still no effing AF. Googled 'cycle getting longer' before bed last night. I did not sleep well! I'm drying up y'all! I'm a greying mare out to pasture! My ovaries are like autumn leaves!

vap I never used OPKs so I can't help. Have you ever spotted before? Or just AF ending? Boo to the pregnancy announcements for you.

lod I know the feeling waiting for AF, it's horrible being in between cycles, but I bet it's just change of routine being away!
I'm feeling much more positive, AF done, so I'm on day 7. Got some nice evenings with DH planned (dates, not dtd planning! obviously it is!) so feeling good about that! Lots of work to keep me busy too so hopefully I won't be as crazy as I was last month with day tracking and symptom spotting! My plan of attack this time is shed loads of dtd ( every other day AT LEAST, for two weeks starting tonight!!!) and absolutely no testing AT ALL until AF is two days late! Please help me keep to this, I need the moral support! Might perhaps test after day 28 if I've got any drinking planned! What do you all reckon!? Help me come up with a list of rules for June ttc!

I held off till 1 day after AF was due and so grateful I did!

Erm just the usual sore boobs, knackered (as in I keep attempting to get a nap every day as struggle to stay awake till now without one), sickness! Thank fully ive just got nausea not actually being sick, with DD1 I was sick after every meal for 2 months!

I'm now symptom spotting for my period with the same gusto as I do on the TWW 'Oooooh I'm sure that was a cramp!', 'I'm a mardy mare today - must be due any moment!'

On the bright side I did get to go to the mud bath without the faff of being on and my complexion is the same and a bit of my tan has rubbed off glowing

Yesterday a freind's baby just turned 1. Pics of this beautiful baby boy.
I remember being so jealous when I saw the scan pic at 3 months and now he is 1 year old. It's so horrible of me to be so jealous.

Fertile window starts on Sunday for me with the expected ovulation being Friday and so my plan is to try to not stress dp out too much by only dtd wed, thurs, fri. Trying to not say too much at the min but have warned him that this is our 2nd to last chance of doing it ourselves without doing it in a hospital this may not be true but need to make him understand how important this is - I know this makes me a terrible person but is actually more than likely true! I'm amazingly chilled out about things this month, probably because I've been working 12+ hrs per day for the last 2 weeks and so don't have time to really think about it? Just wait until my fertile window and I'll be a crazy person again... But hopefully not as I don't know if I can do the whole negative test again...
At least when nothing happens this month I have an appointment in July, although I only expect him to send me away again...

Best days are 13th-19th, I think o is 18th going to try for every other day and then not symptom spot or test until 3rd July!! Yikes, that sounds like ages!!

I'm in that lull between packing and leaving for the airport where nobody knows what to because they're bored but don't want to sweat.

Still no AF, so unless it arrives on the plane or the minute we set foot on UK soil, I will be POAFRER with FMU tomorrow to triple check I'm not pregnant. And then possibly a trip to the Docs - I dunno, what do you lot think? Wait another week?

Vaps, you're giving yourself a really hard time you are totally normal for feeling jealous - but it's not because you don't want your friend to have her baby or you want him for yourself, it's because you long for one of your own - and there is a world of difference between the two.
And as for having to pussy-foot around DH - It drives me mad too. By taking the pressure off them we heap more on ourselves by trying to engineer spontaneity. It's not fair (but not sure how to fix it TBH)

Oh no lod how annoying! Sorry for the bfn! There is nothing more frustrating than af being late. You are quite a few days now too, how many? When you were pregnant with little lod did it show up on tests?
How was your holiday? Sounds like it was a nice long break , and on the positive side you were able to drink on your holidays!
According to my app my fertile window starts today and ends on Friday. Think I'll be ovulating Thursday or Friday. So with the tactical dtd and not pressurising dp too much we are not doing any dtd today (unless he instigates it). And will hold off until Tuesday, again unless he instigates it. Then dtd, wed, thurs and fri, if I can get him to play ball..... Fingers crossed!
Off to poas on an opk to see what the line looks like (not expecting any kind of line) will post it on here so I have a comparison for the next few days.

So many people get a reasonable line on these all the way through their cycle, not sure why I don't get hardly anything showing up but wouldn't be surprised if it is half the reason I'm not getting pregnant.

Holiday was really great thanks. We haven't had 2 weeks proper holiday since... 2008 I think?! So it was lovely. And everyone behaved themselves and nobody argued

I'm not clockwork regular but it's been about 29-30 days in the 6 months since AF returned after LLOD. Even DH is frustrated, although at least if it ever returns we skip this coming weekend which will be a wedding with too much booze and hangovers to be DTD properly.

I got a strong positive at 12dpo on a FRER with him Vaps, so I guess it'd be the same second time?

Do you have enough OPKs to do two a day? I'd consider it if you can afford to do 2 tests a day I think?

Oh lod I'm sorry it's so frustrating being stuck between cycles! I hope AF comes soon!

Yep, a little darker today CD11, ovulation due CD14 Thursday.
I've tried testing a few times a day on other cycles but it doesn't work for me. I can only get any kind of line if I use fmu as I must drink too much for it to show up. Will give it a try on wed and thurs a couple of times. Now my cycle seems to be pretty predictable (fingers crossed) I don't know if I'll bother testing next month until the day I expect to ovulate. I think I have enough tests for this month just so if it goes over to next month will need to stock up.

Flipping heck lod what's going on with AF? I'd get to your Dr if I was you. Have you tested again (just in case)?

This month I've chilled out about it all more than last month. I'm trying to not read through loads of other posts because it stresses me out and annoys me when all the 1st month trying people get their bfp's. Hoping this relaxed state continues! If DP does his duties as and when necessary it will help me relax. Just wait until next weekend and I'm stressing out about whether to drink or not.....

So far managed day 7 and day 10, DH needs to stop falling asleep!! Today is day 12, and ov due day 15. So next few days are crucial! An trying to stay relaxed too Vap as I don't want to test at all for ages!!

Lod I agree, might be time to visit the doc just to get some reassurance!

I want to go to the dr but Im 99pc sure they will say it's because I've been on holiday and to wait and see next month.

My only concern is that I now have a pain all along my shoulderblade and apparently combined with the lack of period it can be a sign of ectopic pregnancy. But it's rare and also shoulder pain means you're bleeding internally so v unlikely I'd be on MN if that was happening, I think. No stomach pains or anything.

Do what you think is right but never worry that the Dr will say there's nothing wrong, it's totally fine to just go and find out! At least then you won't worry? I'm sure the Dr will understand?

Luckily we had a bit of a heavy weekend on the and so dp has decided not to drink until Friday which all bodes well for super sperm for Thursday.

So as far as I understand, please let me know your thoughts on the right day/s
+opk will happen Thursday.
Ovulation will then happen Friday.
Dtd after ovulation is no good as the sperm likes to be waiting for the egg.
Therefore the best day is Thursday for DTD?

Yes, sperm is at its optimum at 2-3 days old.
Depending on sperm count as this determines how frequently is best.
The older they are the more motility is decreased and so not as good quality.
We are lucky that dp has loads and so can do it every day without worrying - ha. If only!
People with a lesser count will be advised to dtd every 3rd day.
Loads of ewcm today! Bit bothered I'm missibg my fertile window. Will test when I get back in tonight. Just hope I can get home before 7 and can get dp organised!
